  6. Belarus continues to host Wagner group instructors for its military forces

  9. Kyiv/Central Ukraine:

  11. Per Budanov, UA has returned to a 1:5 artillery ratio vs RU, compared to 1:7 prior to US assistance arriving. He estimates it will take until sometime in July for the situation at the frontline to stabilize and be significantly impacted by the new ammo supplies.

  13. Per the UA Air force, UA intercepted 1953/2277 shaheds this year (86%). Most intercepts happen from smaller air defense groups rather then large AD platforms.

  15. During the period of using the Serhiy Prytula crowdfunded ICEYE satellites, UA specialists have taken a total of 4,173 images of enemy targets, including:

  18. 238 positions of air defence systems and radio reconnaissance;

  36. UA will also begin funding the showing of english language films, in english. The original version of this law which would have required all english language films to be broadcast in the original english by 2027, was stripped after outcry.

  38. The Cabinet of Ministers allowed enterprises and organizations that are certified operators of mine countermeasures to reserve 100% of the composition of groups or departments that are involved in demining the territories of Ukraine.

  41. Northeast Ukraine/Kharkiv city:

  43. RU continues to launch heavy strikes, including copious glide bombs, into the NE Kharkiv region. RU appears to have further solidified control over parts of N Vovchansk city.

  45. RU is reportedly withdrawing some depleted forces from the Vovchansk area, following increased UA strikes on staging areas inside RU. UA additionally struck two SAM systems in Belgorod.

  50. Kupyansk/Lyman:

  52. RU has contested additional territory to the SE of Kupyansk along the highway near Berestove, launching 22 assaults over the last day.

  54. RU is reportedly transferring new troops to the Svatove/Lyman axis, as they continue efforts to push W of the city.

  57. Kramatorsk/Bakhmut:

  59. RU forces aided by extensive MLRS strikes have advanced along the highway W of Ivanivske, up to the forest belt. RU launched 6 assaults over the last day. RU is broadly concentrating infantry in the forests north of Kanal.

  61. RU has redoubled its efforts near Chasiv yar, launching about 6 assaults per day. RU has reportedly decreased its average equipment use per assault, and is losing some 50 soldiers per day + wounded .

  63. RU has contested additional territory in W Kanal microdistrict, aided by heavy bombardment of the residential district over the last month. RU still has yet to decisively seize territory W of the river here, and faces a literal uphill battle in any attempts to cross under fire.

  65. RU has increased its artillery volume of fire near Chasiv yar, and has brought more DPR/LPR conscript troops to the battle following heavy losses of RU VDV experienced forces. RU continues efforts to push towards Kliischivka, so as to flank Chasiv yar from the south near Toretsk.

  69. Avdiivka/Pokrovsk:

  71. RU continues to focus on this area, launching some 33 assaults to the W of Avdiivka.

  73. RU has advanced further to the SW and NW, from the Arkanhelske direction towards Novopokrovske and Sokil.

  75. The 3rd line of defensive fortifications which is being built by civilian contractors is reportedly 90% complete in the Donetsk oblast AO.

An RU soldier immediately executing his fellow soldier following an FPV strike (apparently at said wounded soldiers request) indicates the current level of combat medicine in low level RU units. The casualty apparently suffered a groin injury and immediately gestures to the other soldier to shoot him in the head, which the approaching soldier carried out without hesitation. This is probably more an indication of RU troops low belief in follow-on medical care, mixed with low morale, then anything else.

  81. In May of this year, the ZSU recorded 715 cases when the Russians used ammunition containing dangerous chemicals. This is 271 more cases than in April. The overwhelming majority is CS gas.

  84. Donetsk city/Occupied regions:

  86. RU launched 20 assaults to the NW and SW of Marinka, including further contesting central Krasnohorivka and broadly assaulting from the industrial southern portion into the residential N.

  90. RU has intensified its operations towards Krasnohorivka, launching 80 kamikaze UAVs and 640 other drone attacks over 3 days.

  92. RU is reportedly importing judges from RU proper to the occupied territories, with 65/75 judges in occupied Zaporizhia and 51/53 judges in Kherson. The bulk of judges are reportedly from poorer regions of RU, as urban judicial staff from Moscow and St Petersburg are less likely to move to UA.

  94. Russian authorities have forced over 10,000 children in occupied Donetsk Oblast to join the "Young Republic" (Molodaya Respublika) organization

  119. Odessa/Black Sea/Crimea:

  121. A cluster munition was reportedly intercepted over a crowded Sevastopol beach, leading to civilian casualties on the beach. RU claims it was a cluster ATACMS missile that was knocked off course by RU interceptor activity. At least 4 people were killed, and 151 injured.

  129. UA drone strikes targeted RU oil refineries in Krasnodar, Bryansk, and Crimea on the 21st. The overwhelming of RU air defense resulted in a friendly fire incident where a naval Ka-29 helicopter was shot down.

  131. The same strike reportedly damaged or destroyed some 120 drones of various kinds

Per new RU VDV command and training manuals, RU is reorganizing its focus to more infantry heavy frontline assaults, notable in that these previously "elite" forces are now reliant on the same tactics as other much less skilled/equipped units. RU command estimates for the lifespan of company-sized assault groups in combat (30-90 soldiers) is less then 48 hours before they are combat ineffective.
