- Pancakes - About FOurteen 4-Inch Cakes
- Combine:
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 3/4 teaspoon double-acting baking powder
- Combine:
- 1 or 2 slightly beaten whole eggs
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 to 1 1/4 cups of milk
- Mix the liquid ingredients slowly into the dry ingredients. Once the batter is mixed, slowly add a bit of it at a time into a heated pan to make circles out of the batter. When the batter starts to bubble on the surface, flip it over and cook for a time before removing it from the pan. Rinse and repeat until all your batter is gone. It's a bit tricky to get the pan cooking right and the batter thickness right, but generally this recipe gives tasty pancakes.
