- This song has a long and intriguing history.
- It all began in a special idea and that idea was for a crossover game between the Mario, Sonic, and Kirby franchises. I was nine years old at the time. (4 years ago.) "Treetop Trouble" would be the name of an original Kirby level in said game, which was completely hypothetical then. The level would be heavily inspired or set in Sonic 2's Hill Top Zone. Kirby would have 3D movement throughout the level and copy abilities would be available as well.
- Initially, I wanted this theme to have a guitar and a saxophone to take turns in taking the melody. But since this song was made using Beepbox, I couldn't imitate those sounds. (There was supposed to be a piano in there as well, but I forgot about it.)
- After discovering Beepbox through a Youtube channel (D.O.N.G/D.I.N.G), 11-year old me thought it was perfect to bring the song to fruition!
- Additionally, the crossover game I imagined is becoming a reality! (Although we don't have SEGA or Nintendo's support... YET!) :D
- And behold... the original version!

- Obviously, when I first composed this song, I was fairly new to this Beepbox thing... I was inexperienced back then.
