⚭background: Jinju was born in Icheon, South Korea, but she and her family later moved to Copenhagen, Denmark at age four so her parents could pursue their geology career. The Geological Survey of Denmark, Copenhagen was where Jinju spent a majority of her time learning about different rocks and crystals. During that time, Jinju was also exposed to dance and kpop—which she became fascinated in. Her parents let her pursue ballet and eventually other styles of dance. When she was seven, her parents had her little brother—William.

Growing up, Jinju always had a stronger connection to her Korean side rather than her Laos-Hmong ethnicity. Part of the reason was because she wasn't very close with her strict Hmong mother. Her mother would constantly pin point Jinju's flaws out of context, and nothing ever seemed right in her mother's point of view.

In fear of the disappointment from her mother, Jinju suffered from a form of OCD. Once she became an adult, Jinju realized that her mother was OCD as well and that they were actually very alike—but Jinju refuses to admit it to this day. Although her mother was strict, she eventually accepted Jinju's dream to become an idol—as long as she was good at it and made income.


⚭personality: At initial interaction, she is a little overly sweet, but you can tell she is a prude. She is often blind sided when it comes to hurting others emotionally. Still, she likes to think that she is a caring person. Jinju hates being out of control of her surroundings; she is most comfortable when things are in her control and will not hesitate to comply to anything, as long as she gets what she wants. Jinju is also very precise—she becomes frustrated if things aren't simple or practical. She often takes her anger out in gradually, in slightly rude or snide comments—until she explodes in waves of emotional sobs.
