  1. MAKE SURE TO HAVE AUDIO RECORDINGS SET FOR MONO, NOT STEREO
  2. SPLIT EACH INDIVIDUAL LINE INTO ITS OWN FILE
  3. KEEP QUALITY CLEAN AND CLEAR THROUGHOUT
  4. HAVE THE AUDIO BE AS LOUD AS YOU CAN MAKE IT WITHOUT AUDIBLE CLICKING OR NOISE
  5.
  6. COMMENTS IN BRACKETS {} ARE SPOKEN/DONE BY THE PLAYER
  7. COMMENTS IN BRACKETS [] IS WHAT THE PLAYER IS DOING OR WHERE THEY ARE
  8.
  9. -----------------------------------------
  10.
  11. [Scene where NPC confronts player about mission]
  12.
  13. So you made it here then, very well, we'll soon be cutting a path through these barbarians and taking back that post. Get ready.
  14.
  15. {What will you do now?}
  16.
  17. Attempt to piece together and rebuild this fractured outpost with the help of the garrison to the east, and try to root any remaining radical.
  18.
  19. But between you and me, I wish I wasn't even here in the first place, the situation in The Reach is quite frankly hopeless.
  20.
  21. {Kegor from Evermore has assigned me in collecting reports from the outposts, I assume you have such a document?}
  22.
  23. I'm an Imperial, do you really need to ask if I've kept up with my end of bureaucracy - here you go, with the caveat of added paper work that will be sent over in the coming days.
  24.
  25. {Things seem to be taking a turn for the better, finally. Is there anything else you may need help with?}
  26.
  27. Funny you should say that, though I wish the sentiment behind my plea had the same levity. Do you remember the woman we rescued here? The one forced upon by the Orcs.
  28.
  29. {Since you put it so repugnantly, I do.}
  30.
  31. Sometimes the invocation of the unpleasant is the best way to force engagement with a topic.
  32.
  33. Well, The woman: Denize, has vanished while leaving little to no traces for where she went. She was being coveted here by the field nurse, but must have slipped out during the night.
  34.
  35. Our best guess was that she went somewhere to do away with the child without suffering the repercussions a normal abortion can illicit. There have been tales of a witch who can perform such rituals - If you can, seek her out and return safely.
  36.
  37.
  38. Our presence here as imperials who were supposed to govern has been a disaster, I just want to do one thing right to shirk those feelings of ineptitude. Not to say we don't genuinely care about those under our care too.
  39.
  40. {Alright, tell me where to go and I'll try to help}
  41.
  42. Get more saints like you in the reach and we may turn this realm around yet, here, I'll give you the whereabouts of the witch. According to legend she's said to inhabit this very spot in the wilds. I'll pray you're fortunate on this journey.
  43.
  44. {Sorry Officer, the Witch lived up to her reputation and had killed Denize.}
  45.
  46. ..........I really don't know why I got my hopes up, this rancid hole spells nothing but doom for all that have the misfortune to wander here.
  47.
  48. Was there no hint that the witch was conspiring to bereave her of life? Why were you so ready to trust someone who dabbles in dark magic?
  49.
  50. {I just wanted to appease Denize in her wishes.}
  51.
  52. You saw how distraught she was, she was not in the state of mind to be making such brash choices - *sigh* but ultimately it was her choice, who am I to rob someone of their agency.
  53.
  54. The product of all the hate that has found a haven in the Reach - she wouldn't have gone to such desperate lengths if her child didn't carry that incredible stigma that hinders every Orc.
  55.
  56. {Maybe she didn't want to raise an illegitimate child of rape?}
  57.
  58. Yes of course, sorry forgive me. It's too often that politics and bureaucracy warps what is a very simple and personal matter. I just had the hope that It could have turned out differently.
  59.
  60. She never deserved this - neither did you, this burden should have been mine to bare.
  61.
  62. {Trust me, I wanted to help of my own volition.}
  63.
  64. The reach needs more people like you, keep on with that altruistic streak and maybe others will follow suit.
  65.
  66. {Denize is indeed with the witch, she was too stubborn to see reason and return. I'm to bring Ingredients for the witch to perform an abortion.}
  67.
  68. Sounds grizzly, and very dangerous. Does she really have all her faculties together to go through with this I wonder... What were these ingredients?
  69.
  70. {Deathbell, ectoplasm and Nirnroot.}
  71.
  72. Deathbel- Wait, By allesia's majesty that's a damn recipe for poison, one of the first things we learned about on what to avoid in the field.
  73.
  74. This really shouldn't be your burden but that with is going to kill her if Denize even has a whiff of that substance. I implore you knight, bring her back.
  75.
  76. {Any more information on this witch?}
  77.
  78. Mostly hearsay, none of ours have caught sight of the illusive agent so any descriptor would prove futile.
  79.
  80. Though if we were to go off these myths, then what should be your foremost concern are her magics - ranging from simple hedge magic, used throughout the wilds, to more sinister arts that call upon dark gods for their power.
  81.
  82. Some texts talk of a witch matching her description dating back to the origins of the reachmen, with her a central figure to one of the most prominent tribes.
  83.
  84. So in summary, not someone you want to spare a second thought for if things start getting heated.
  85.
  86. {Is she part of the witchmen?}
  87.
  88. If she can be spoken to without having your innards torn out, then I would say no. Probably exiled from their sect or just some wayward mage who's found a niche in the taboo.
  89.
  90. Either way, she shouldn't be trusted, no matter how flattering she may appear. Witches will beguile their prey before loosing the trap.
  91.
  92.
  93.
  94.
  95. [Player approaches Guard outside imperial outpost]
  96.
  97. Halt, state your reason for entry.
  98.
  99. {I've come to fulfill a contract to deal with an Orc problem}
  100.
  101. A mercenary then? Should be more forthcoming - we're short on auxiliaries so any help is welcome. However, don't take this trust as an sign of weakness, we'll be keeping an eye on you.
  102.
  103.
  104. {I just wanted to pay a visit}
  105.
  106. Do these walls give the impression that we're hosts to a festival? This Praesidium is where the empire conducts its provincial affairs, we don't allow any straggler entry without good reason.
  107.
  108. Retreat until you can conjure that very reason, else stay back.
  109.
  110. [NPC has conversation with other imperial NPC]
  111.
  112. Ave, looking glum as usual. You feeling alright?
  113.
  114. I was thinking, got some contacts in cyrodil, may get transferred out of here some time soon.
  115.
  116. Shhhhhh! Don't let anyone hear that yet another one of us are planning on ditching this swamp, morale is already in the dumps as it is. You know how hard it is to get transferred?
  117.
  118. Just have patience - overheard the commander, details about this entire garrison moving east to skyrim to help Tullius, so don't go getting yourself in trouble, understand?
  119.
  120. How many times have we heard the same thing? We didn't move when nay half our garrison were wiped out at belmor, we didn't move even when our lordly neighbor wanted us gone.
  121.
  122. The empire is clinging on, and we're the nails that are dug in the side of that crumbling cliff. It's only going to get worse as time goes on, I mean, when was the last time we got a new shipment of arms?
  123.
  124. Alright, alright. Let's not spoil another day with this talk. Spare a prayer for our departure, only thing we can do. Vale.
  125.
  126. [NPC talks to commanding Officer of outpost]
  127.
  128. They should have sent a better stock of Bretons to oversee this outpost than what we've got. I swear that I can recognize some from the Exiles we arrest.
  129.
  130. Don't hold your breath, it's a squandered hope - when are we going officially leaving then?
  131.
  132. Speak for yourself, I've yearned for a good nights sleep for a decade now. I just hope Skyrim doesn't harbor the same hostility and corruption that this realm does.
  133.
  134. Don't get my hopes up too much, such thoughts will only bring disappointment.
  135.
  136.
  137.
  138.
  139.
  140.
  141. [Misc Dialogue]
  142.
  143. Watch your flanks for archers, these Orcs will use everything in their means to halt our advance.
  144.
  145. We have one more matter to deal with, that Warchief is lurking around here somewhere.
  146.
  147. With the Warchief dead, that should hopefully quell further activity among the Orcs for the time being, head back to Drugo for the reward he promised.
  148.
  149. Keep close, a scattered formation is easily penetrable.
  150.
  151. Gods, look how fast these Orcs have built over the ruins. I can see why the Bretons fear them so much.
  152.
  153. These barbarians are viscous, but simple, use your wits to your advantage.
  154.
  155. Look at the brutality laid upon these poor souls, I doubt they've ever faced a force so fierce.
  156.
  157. Keep messing around and you'll get us all killed.
  158.
  159. [NPC REACTS TO PLAYER STEALING]
  160. Thief, the empire will deliver you to justice!
  161.
  162. [NPC DYING WORDS]
  163. I make my sacrifice...
  164. Ahhh......
  165. For the emperor...
  166.
  167. [NPC REACTS TO FRIENDS DEATH]
  168. Fiend, you'll pay dearly for that!
  169. Murderer!
  170.
  171. [NPC ATTACKED]
  172. Taking hits!
  173. Ugh!
  174. Delinquent!
  175. Reman steer me!
  176. Agh!
  177. Fool!
  178.
  179. [NPC BLOCKING ATTACKS]
  180. Bad technique!
  181. Out skilled!
  182.
  183. [NPC BLEEDING OUT, ON KNEES]
  184. Stendarr ... give me strength.
  185. My duty for the empire... Must go on...
  186.
  187. [NPC ATTACKING PLAYER/ENEMY]
  188. Feel the wrath of Reman.
  189. Straight for the throat.
  190. Savage!
  191. Feel the brunt of the empire!
  192. Not enough skill.
  193. Your mistake.
  194. Orc savage!
  195. Traitor to the cause!
  196. Another Nord fool for the blade.
  197. Foul thing, back to oblivion with you!
  198. Vile creature!
  199. Thieving cat.
  200. Enemies in sight, hold fast!
  201. Your last mistake.
  202. Gods... The stench.
  203.
  204. [NPC REACTS TO CORPSE]
  205. Murderers don't evade justice for long, we'll find who did this.
  206.
  207. [NPC REACTS TO PLAYER SWINGING WEAPON]
  208. Sloppy technique, you're bound to hurt an ally.
  209.
  210. [NPC REACTS TO PLAYER SPELLS]
  211. Ah a mage, the bretons will like you.
  212. A fine spell indeed.
  213.
  214. [PLAYER SHOVES NPC]
  215. Subject, watch yourself!
  216. Ugh.
  217.
  218. [NPC REACTS TO PLAYER SHOUT]
  219. Dragonborn?! I am honored to be in your presence.
  220.
  221. [NPC REACTS TO FIGHTING BETWEEN TWO OTHER ACTORS]
  222. Halt this violence at once!
  223.
  224. [NPC SAYS GOODBYE]
  225. Vale. (Vah-ley)
  226. Serve the empire.
  227. Go with Grace.
  228.
  229. [NPC SAYS HELLO]
  230. Out with it.
  231. Ave. (Ah-vey)
  232. Citizen.
  233. Doing your part for the empire?
  234. What on nirn happened in Arnima? Blood red skies and haunting shrieks. Can't wait to get out of here.
  235. Great work at the outpost, you've found an ally in the empire.
  236. Keep moving and stay focused.
  237.
  238. [NPC HORRIFIED]
  239. What is this place?!
  240. What in oblivion!
  241.

  243. [NPC SEES HOSTILE]
  244. Targets spotted! Engage!
  245. Time to strike!
  246.
  247. [NPC LOOKING FOR HOSTILE]
  248. You can't hide forever fool, we will find you.
