SMB3 Warpless Tourney Update

After hearing from a few folks and thinking about it myself, I've decided to set a tentative date for the SMB3 Warpless Tourney for late January. I originally was thinking about setting it for late October/early November, but my own laziness and wanting to do the SMB1 Tourney with some semblance of skill pushed that back. After sending out the message to literally anybody I've discussed the tourney with, 2 things stood out from the responses: 1. People are excited about it! (yay) and 2. A lot of people would be more available after the holidays/AGDQ.

So with all that in mind, I'll say right now tentative start date would be something January 29th? Seems fitting to start it on a Friday. That's long after the holidays are over, and should give the folks who wanna focus on AGDQ stuff now time to derust/learn. I'll probably announce/open registration right around New Year's to give plenty of time to build hype, etc.

Now that doesn't mean nothing will be happening until that point. I'll be in talks with the people that have responded to talk about different things that can be worked out before we start (including a couple of surprises...), and I might begin working on a few things to make learning a little easier.

In the meantime, Lawso just completed a nice tutorial and put it up on his YouTube; highly suggest checking that out if you're remotely interested in learning the run.

Also, if I haven't contacted you before, but you are wanting to assist in any way, please let me know. Many hands make light work, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
