  1. Kirbin-Morel and Koko together is a dreamteam. The is a massive boon that sets up an extremely hard to beat win con for pretty much everyone. Everyone else trying and failing to counter the smoke in their arguments speak for themselves.
  2.
  3. Wolf-I buy that Origin is extremely smart, though Wolf doesn’t seem to put into practice how this translates into an in round advantage other than saying they won’t immediately engage in the fight. I also buy that Mayday can restrain everyone for free. Origin and Mayday both seem like good characters, and Wolf does a good job of covering large swaths of the opposition very concisely.
  4.
  5. Ame-Definitely buy that Ame’s team can probably fight evenly with pretty much anyone else here. The synergy between the two is great and he does a good job of countering the win cons against him.
  6.
  7. Iri-Iri does a really good job of dissecting how the match actually goes, I don’t think anyone else has posted a superior analysis of the fight. Spider Man talking people into turning on each other is supremely fake, but I do believe that he convinces Katana to leave with him and that his team will likely be one of the last standing.
  8.
  9. Amasian-Amasian does a good job of establishing that his team can in fact beat anyone they’re presented with, and will likely win the fight in his immediate vicinity. He’s done the best job of what i’ve seen so far of doing that- asserting that he wins immediately vs those right in front of him, and that he has win cons v. everyone
  10. Guy-I don’t buy the argumentative weight thing. Guy never says why he thinks Iri is right and spends most of his second response just saying that the judges have to agree with him or they’re wrong, but he never makes an actual argument in favor of Iri’s win cons. Outside of that, I think camping is a solid strategy, though I’m not really given a reason to believe that his team would wait out the entirety of the fight, only that they could potentially.

  12. Embrace-Embrace’s team isn’t good. These characters don’t have great feats for striking, grappling, or durability. Kanade’s fall damage thing gets cucked by surface area fairy, Lancelot is based on piercing=blunt which isn’t necessarily wrong but is doubtful to hold up in battleboarding court. However, the strat here is sound. They’re given good arguments for why they’re retreat, where they’ll retreat to, how they’ll outlast the fight, and how they’ll be able to establish high ground while operating at relatively peak efficiency. I would legit give them a decent chance to win based on that alone. I wouldn’t really recommend either of these guys as picks but good argumentation> strong teams.
  13.
  14. FJ-I don’t believe that Guyver actually does what FJ has argued him to do, he’s posted no evidence suggested that Guyver instantly disarms everyone in sight. Without that, I don’t think he’s particularly useful. The ranged attacks are extremely slow and have considerable windup, and his stealth detection won’t work on everyone in the fight. I buy that Baki is an extremely skilled fighter. He seems to be able to overcome meaningful disadvantages in a fight, but I don’t think he can solo the tourney and i don’t think Guyver truly pulls his weight. .

  16. BTC-Bad characters, solid strat. Loken’s durability and speed are both fake even if his offense is good. Colette’s striking is hampered by surface area fairy, is slow, and the cold beam as to be inside your face for it to work. But running and gunning is a solid strat and this will be effective vs a lot of characters.
  17.
  18. Coco-I don’t see a reason to believe that Uryu gives Deadspot his gear or that Deadspot could use this gear reasonably. This is the sort of thing that needs to be proved in order for me to think it’s legit before you treat Deadspot as just “uryu but again”.
  19.
  20. Corv-Lizard is OOT. He’s being argued as being explicitly at or above most of NW’s stats and can heal easily from almost any damage done to him. I don’t believe NW is one shot by his telepathy but I don’t believe he can completely ignore it either, and his win con is specific enough that I don’t believe he can execute it while also powering through Lizard’s TP. With that being said, Corve’s “mog, rinse, repeat” was a solid strategy I could see working in the tourney itself. Lizard is also likely in tier if his TP is stipped out. However, with Sebastian being left to fend for himself, I don’t see a path to victory.
  21.
  22. Liven-Zombieman is OOT because you just said “the only way you can lose is in a 2v1” how the fuck is TS supposed to achieve that? Guts is too slow to solo. It was a good strategy to build a team that covers each others bases well, though Guts doesn’t have any good speed feats presented.
  23.
  24. Clev-I believe that Arthur is an extremely effective opponent in this fight though I doubt he’s in tier in anyway. Clev argues that Arthur “must be tagged in the head or legs by an attack significantly faster than a bullet” in order to be beaten, and that any melee engagement is unwinnable for whomever he might be facing. I also believe that Ripple is OOT. As argued, she is considerably faster than even Arthur, explicitly, as well as being completely undetectable and having piercing that will likely oneshot NW.

  26. OOT’s: Arthur, Ripple, Zombieman and Lizard are OOT
