Alright, Alright. In the World of Planet Crock, there are unfortunately only a limited amount of mages born around the world and because of this reason, most places around the world make it a usual thing to find any mages born within their boundaries and groom said baby into being a pawn for each state/country's own agenda.

It's become the custom for those born with magical abilities to be given some form of special treatment no matter where they are born or who they belong too. Some countries enslave them from birth and turn them into nothing more than tools of war, locked away when not in use. Others hold them up as kings, some treat them as lords, and others outcast them as demons.

As players, you all will be born and raised on one of the more benevolent continents on this planet, called Braeter where an organized council of mages oversee the continent and attempt to maintain peace between the various kingdoms and states on it as well as protect the people of the continent from foreign invaders and inland threats.

Char Sheet

Name: Bertram Archibald Wallace.

Age: 23

Physical Appearance: Bertram's about 5'9 in height, and possesses relatively handsome features despite having a literal hive of insects squirming within his guts. His brown hair is kept neatly groomed and kept trim; overall average otherwise.

Magic Tree: Beast tree. Commands an assortment of bees; wasps and a few honeybees form their own hive inside his body. Named each bee :')

Gear: Red button-up vest over a cotton long sleeved shirt. Leather overcoat when needed. Wears an assortment of pretty rings on his left ring, middle, and index fingers.

Appropriate amount of vials containing healing honey, brewed by his loyal honey bees. Kept in a satchel, along with several pens.

New book he received just recently to catalog his findings, kept within a coat pocket.

Weapons: Spear that has a rifle mechanism installed to fire off from the tip. Aim is harder to achieve with the weapon without training, and even then its mostly meant for stabbing + shooting up close.

Flintlock

Insert appropriate amount of bullets for spear, and several prepared shots for his flintlock.

Armor/Shield: N/A

Personality: A gentleman and scholar. Bertram is a well-behaved guy and generally maintains a calm demeanor. Prefers not to fight things out himself, leaving that to his little friends. Tends to complain about less-than-adequate conditions that he's not used to, as with just about any other person with a rich upbringing, really.


Backstory: Bertram was raised by a relatively high class family in the Councilland! Bertram's family was essentially a group of noble entrepreneurs that just so happened to own a bee-keeping farm, which in turn became the first subjects of him to test his new found power. Over the course of his training he eventually added more useful bees(e.g wasps) allowing them to dwell in a hive built inside his body in exchange for defending him and his honey bees. After all, multiple stings are better than getting disemboweled on the first one.

Tl;Dr relatively privileged kid that eagerly became a mage with the intent on exploring and cataloging the known world.
