- I should probably give you all a brief history lesson and general knowledge to catch you up to speed. I stand 5'9", dirty blond, hazel eyes, and I am a paladin. I was born to a Polish mother and a German father in Frankfurt, who left me on a church's front door. I lived there until I was 8, at which time I was adopted by two Americans. A tall and stocky man with a beard as thick as the rain forest. This alone made him intimidating to me, the women on the other hand was small and fragile. She looked like she would break apart it you touched her wrong. they both had a dark set of eyes that I could never quite read, and always seemed to hid something. Unfortunately once in the States we could never stay rooted in a city, just kept moving every two or three years because of my fathers work. This made it very had to make and keep friends or any other kind of acquaintances, especially with other paladins who grew up together.
- Although I am a paladin I never had the chance to meet any monster. I was always told to keep away from them by my father. Though I always saw a fight between a paladin and one in all my schools, the paladins almost always lost. One thing about my father, who is always changing jobs, is that he has no time for his son. So I never really learned why I should hate monsters. My whole attitude to them was one of a cursed curiosity. I never could get close to one out of fear of my father, but never keeping too far away from them either. I guess you could call it stalking. Mom was a similar story, always drinking, smoking, and watching what ever was on. As long as I didn't try to pull her away from the TV I was okay around her.
- We finally found a palace to settle down, in a sleepy town just out side the city of Red River, Arkansas. Named after the river that the town was founded near. This happened on my senior year of high school. I was at the bottom of every totem pole, and a easy bully target. After about half the year passed I finally found two friends. The first is Jimmy, and he has been my best friend ever since. 5'8", greasy black hair, thickest New York accent, and family in the mob. He always bragged about too. I think he would let that get into his head to often. He Nearly started a fist fight with a ushi-oni because she, "Was talking down on the family." He moved out here about a year before I did from the Bronxs. An outsider, like me. I think that's why we got along so well. The second is a shorter shy guy named Chris. About 5'2", short reddish hair, some freckles dotting his face like a connect the dots. A soft set of ocean eyes, and a little slouch to his walk. He was a quiet kid, barely talked but always seemed to listen. I really don't know what happened to him after graduation. Just disappeared.
- Now I am twenty two and working at a local mechanics shop, I live in my own apartment. Next to me is a kobold named Susan, her husband Tom, and their child Kassie. I have a pet bearded dragon. I named him Joe after an old family dinner. I would hang out there when my father hit my mother, or me. In fact I still have one of my fathers love marks in the form of a dented nose from a tire iron. Back in my senior year I had a huge argument with my father when he hit the shit out of me in my right eye. I had to wear my helm to cover it up, but I never wore it so I was getting weirder looks than normal. Any time Jimmy or Chris asked about it I told them, "It was just something I wanted to try out." When the usual group of monsters forced me into the girls locker room and ripped it off me, they just stool there looking wide eyed and dumb struck. Alexia, a jinko, tried to get me to confess who did it. I couldn't say out of fear and confusion. Anyway about a month back my father and mother divorced, I didn't feel anything. But Jimmy thought I was depressed so he went sniffing around and found a party, then got us invited. I didn't know about this until today at work, and I feel that this is the best place to start off in detail.
- She stood about half a foot taller than me, and worked out every week. The look on there faces turned to surprise when I brought my face up. "Oh my god it's you. What, why are you here?" Alexia stepped forward pushing be back further with her size alone. "Otto what are you doing here?" I was about to mumble something when I felt Lorry's paws on my shoulders as she seemed to fade out of nothing. "Awww, do you want to have some fun? I think he wants some fun, after all he has never been to a party before." Alexia cracked a smile and put one of her paws down on my shoulder to hold me in place. "You know what I think you are right." Lorry floated for a second before disappearing to somewhere. "Alexia looking strong like usual." I looked over her fast trying to find something. "You been working out yeah? I land see it has been working." Looking down she inspected her self, "Yeah I try to keep fit. Can't let these puppies go to waste." She slapped her abs and chuckled to herself. "You like them don't you?" Wide eyed I tried to speak out. "Well n-" Leaning in closer I could see down her tank top to her cleavage. "I bet you are one of those guy who wants to lick my abs aren't you?" I shook my head but she nodded and pulled me in closer to where I could feel her abs. Just then Andy came around the corner followed by Lorry. "Wow Tigerus don't have to much fun with him, save some for me." Andy ripped me out of Alexia's arms and gave me a little shove into the kitchen. "Otto so glade you could make it. You should come out to the barn with us, everyone is out there and I am sure they will love to see you again." I turned around to try and walk away from the situation but Alexia grabbed me quicker than I could walk. "I think he wants to see them all again!" With that she started walking with me under one of her arms outside and to the barn.
- As they lead me to the barn I noticed the music blaring music slowly quite down and be replaced by a slower more relaxing song from the barn. Alexia shoved me into the barn through its main door. "Hay look who it is." I looked up to the voice and saw the rest of the monster that had bullied me in high school. Emily, the manticore, Madison, a dragon, and
