  9. Head:
  10.
  11. Much less a mask and more of a helmet now, it completely loses the mouth opening from the original, and doesn’t make facial expressions, going for an overall more inhuman appearance. Communication systems are located in the same place as before, in the helmet’s ears (which are more or less as long as the previous suit). The helmet is equipped with a vision mode based off of the Detective Mode from Arkham City, which combines many of his previous vision modes as well as adding some new ones, including the virtual analysis (which can be projected as holograms from the suit’s eyes) mode from Arkham Origins. The shape and look of the helmet is based off of that of the new Batwing, Luke Fox. The eyes glow red instead of blue, however, and are more triangular to harken the DCAU look. It’s also more curved from a side view, with a more pointed chin and jaw line. The faceplate can be detached similarly to Iron Man’s in the films.

  21. Torso:
  22.
  23. The chest area is more armored than the stomach, creating the illusion of pecs, almost (refer back to devart redesign), with lines moving horizontally over the stomach (see Blue Beetle pics for a good reference), stopping at the utility belt. The crotch area is missing these lines, creating the ‘underpants’ look harkening back to the original Batsuits used by Bruce Wayne. The bat chest symbol has been enlarged much like the above devart redesign, with the points of the wings reaching up to the shoulders and the bottom point ending just above the utility belt. The symbol now glows red like the eyes. The glow of the symbol can be intensified for a spotlight effect (think of Spider-Man’s spider signal), which can be used to catch enemy attention if they’re threatening an innocent or even for intimidation when swooping down from above. The utility belt is similar to the one before, with the same dial used for activating stealth mode. The pouches for gadgets have been upgraded with etherspace, allowing for unlimited carrying capacity.

  35. Back/Cape:
  36.
  37. The cape works the same as the one from the Nolanverse. The cape is attached at a little below the shoulders, and is separated in the middle (though it falls together so it doesn’t look like it), so that it spreads around the pack on the back (which is equipped with, when not in its storage mode, two small boosters for added speed). This has three modes, cape, wings (which look like David Zamvibe’s when spread) and retracted into the Bat-Pack. With this new wing design, Batman has better freedom of movement with his arms then he did before. When the suit is on, the Bat-Pack has two small boosters that can be used for extra speed during flight when necessary. When the Batsuit is not in use, it appears like a metallic Bat-Pack, capable of transforming into the suit at any time by first spreading a neural interface on the spine, similarly to how Doctor Octavius’ arms worked, without the fusing of course. Once the neural connection is made, the rest of the suit unfolds from segments from there.

  44. Arms:
  45.
  46. There is some light armor on the shoulders, but the upper arms are mainly of the same type of ‘underarmor’ seen on the torso. Gauntlets (which resemble, along with the gloves, those Batman has in the New 52 design) are on the forearms, containing several gadgets. The forearm blades seen on all versions of the Batsuit (though still at two like the original Beyondsuit) retract into themselves partially, also being capable of extending some more and fold sideways into the gauntlets to avoid snagging the cape. Blades can also be electrified like Nightwing’s from Injustice. There are small compartments on the gauntlets in front of the blades that have two holes: one that launches a grapnel line, the other a low power laser that replaces his handheld one. The bottoms of the wrists dispense Batarangs like the original. The middle and index fingers have tiny taser wires that can be fired at close range. The recording equipment, touch sampling, and hacking tool from the former suit are also kept.

  55. Legs:
  56.
  57. The upper legs have similar lines as the torso, but not in the same horizontal pattern. They’re more not like the ones on the above Luke Fox Batwing pic. Like the arms, the lower legs are more bulkily armored (see the Blue Beetle and New 52 Batman pics above). The suit retains the jets in the bottom of the feet as its main mode of thrust for flight.

  61. Basics:
  62.
  63. The B2.2 has increase defensive capabilities, greater capacity for gadget storage, more gadget integration into the suit itself, and many software upgrades thanks to the combined efforts of both elder and younger Bruce Waynes, Tony Stark, and Terry McGinnis. However, because of these significant upgrades, the suit’s energy consumption is much more than before, thereby decreasing time the suit can be active in exchanging for significantly better performance during that time. Also because of the greater energy requirements, its heat output is also increased, making thermal vision on enemies even more of a danger.

  67. New Gadget list:
  68.
  69. -Laser-edged Batarangs (for cutting machines and robots)
  70.
  71. -Tear gas pellets
  72.
  73. -Red phosphorous pellets
  74.
  75. -Web pellets (based off of Spider-Man’s web fluids, these pellets trap their targets in sticky, extremely tough webbing)
  76.
  77. -Freeze Clusters
  78.
  79. -Finger tasers
  80.
  81. -Advanced Detective Mode
  82.
  83. -Bat Lens (A small contact lens for use when the suit is unavailable or maintaining a civilian disguise is necessary. This special lens contains a miniscule system that allows him to access information on the Batcomputer, as well as access a minimized version of his Detective Mode that can scan his surroundings, people, and objects)
