Unbinding the glove

[20:24] Bruno quickly moves upstairs to go find the retrieved glove from their chest, all taken from Kim's person. The object is analyzed and examined for a moment before he sets it down upon a work table, preparing a few vials and chemicals.

"From what I saw of his hand when we removed the glove this can damage one's body. I'm not sure of how it works and I don't think it's wise to modify it in any way besides granting you access to it. Are you fine with that?"

[20:36] Anastasia nods slowly as she too recalls the sight of Kim's hand once the glove was removed. "Yes, I am fine with that." She says towards her husband as she nodded towards him.

Some time had been spent earlier as she examined the glove about whether or not she was okay with that it was supposed to do. Inserting the icy gem directly into her body? It was a brute force method for power. While she tended to prefer less savage methods, she couldn't ignore the potency of this particular method.

Having it on had as an 'emergency switch' of sorts would surely go a long way towards her own ability.

"Do whatever you need to."

[20:41] Bruno gave a small nod before the chemicals were mixed together in a grandiose cocktail with a strong smell yet no real color to it. Without any warning the concoction was poured into the glove. What a mess! The Aertas held the glove up while the liquid bubbled away.

"We'll start by disinfecting the glove. It likely was in contact with his blood and we know not what kind of illness he may have been carrying after hanging with savages his whole life." The young man states. After about a minute of marinating away the contents of the glove were poured into a beaker. Left to dry Bruno now had the task of figuring out how it only responded to Kim's touch.

There was no trace of a stolen magitech mana-reader.

"Hm.. It's likely magical in nature. A rune has been placed, perhaps even after he put on the glove to ensure only his touch could activate it. It's proper procedure; you would not want an accident to cause further pain or an opponent to have control over it.

I know not how it was built, but I believe I can overpower it."

[20:50] Anastasia watched as Bruno mixed together that cocktail of his, then chuckled at his words that followed. "Yes, that would make sense." It's also just such a Bruno thing to do and say that it brings an almost warm smile to her expression.

"Wouldn't the rune be rather obvious to find? I don't recall there being a run on it's surface." A thoughtful glance is spared towards the glove before she looks back towards Bruno. "It's on the inside of it, right? Having the rune make contact with the person would make it rather easy to determine and enforce limited operation."

Or at least, thinking of it that way made sense to her. She wasn't very knowledgeable when it came to runes, being far out of her field of study and expertise.

It was a good guess at least.

[20:57] The way he managed to draw some laugh out of her made this process less obligatory and more... human. Disgusting. Yet if it was with her he didn't mind being more human. After all she was the one who forcefully pulled him out of this shell of his that was remaining completely shut even while the both of them loved one another. He'd found the right woman for himself, he knew as much.

"It should be inside if there is any. If not? Well... It matters little. We'll put one regardless and figure out why it remains problematic afterwards if it does." He states. Taking problems one at a time was far easier than trying to prevent it all.

The Aertas reached out for a small vial, bringing it out towards Anastasia.

"Give me three drops of your blood." He says. He had read a bit about rituals in that book on Atl's witchcraft. While it made him no warlock he took inspiration from it. A blood rite was less advanced when it came totechnology, but there was no doubt that a magi's blood was both an efficient way to empower runes and a good way to identify said magi.

Especially with the function of that glove being one that pierces through one's skin.

[21:25] Her blood?

Easy enough.

A small pin needle is taken and brought to her fingertip where after a brief moment of hesitation, she pushes the tip of that needle inwards until a swelling bead of blood is seen forming.

Then she moves her finger forwards to let it hover over the top of the vial, letting the drops of blood form and fall naturally from her fingertip. It takes about half a minute for the third drop to fall, but once it does, she brings her finger back, wrapping it in a small sanitized clothlet.

"There you are."

[21:32] Bruno takes the vial with his wife's blood in it, giving her a small nod after doing so. She wasn't granted a smile; those were reserved for the right time. His attention instead was brought to the gauntlet, shifted and placed for proper operation.

Runes were written one after the other, a simple enchantment of 'possession' that one may mark an object with. Something similar to the runes upon Aeglos, yet not dipping as far into metaphysical magic.

As the runes were brought together to form a proper glyph the young Aertas dropped the blood.

One.
Two.
Three.

A pulse of mana later brought an ethereal blue color to life only for it to shift to a red, far more vile color. While it may have been bound to Kim through some sort of quirk from its craft, Bruno had expanded into a territory he knew little of combining expertise of runework and some knowledge of rituals in order to properly bind the glove.

... Through blood.

Only those who carried Anastasia's blood would be able to pull that lever to activate it. This included their children, he supposed.

"This should be done." He says, handing over the glove. "Tell me if it works out when you use it."

[21:52] Anastasia's smile had faded as she waited for the blood to fall, and by the end, she merely nodded towards him accepting the glove once he was finished with it.

"I'll let you know if there is anything wrong with it." Though, this time, she won't wait to test it in a serious battle. Best to test it well before her need for it is actually real.
