Lucas and Azriel's Final Shared Backstory.

Lucas Lewis and Azriel Lewis are the children of Chiyono and Julia and the descendants of the two hands of Lucifer. Azriel from a young age showed proficiency in accessing the Sentai Grid and as such was willingly taken to the Ranger Academy to learn and grow his abilities and powers, he also did this to help pay for his little brother Lucas's hospital bills due to most of Lucas's early life being spent in a bubble due to an unknown sickness that ravaged his body. Azriel became somewhat well known as the Blade Wolf Ranger but due to his abilities he wasn't really considered marketable and so he was a "Lone Wolf" that didn't join any ranger teams. In spite of this, he went on to be immensely powerful and skilled and managed to attain his own solo zord/mech which very few ever do. He also had a code of honor to not kill his opponents (Mostly because, strangely enough, he noticed a large majority of them never actually seemed to be willingly doing these things.)

He loved his family above all else and with all the money he made helping people and doing missions for the Ranger Guild, he helped immensely in taking care of his family and brother Lucas. Lucas loved his brother as well and always loved hearing about his "legendary" stories of fighting against massive monsters and winning impossible fights! Sadly, as Lucas's condition worsened, Azriel worried for his brother but couldn't really do anything, that was until an old friend of Julia and Chiyono reached out and offered to do an experimental procedure on lucas pro-bono, as thanks for once saving him from the evil organization he was forced to work for.

Seeing no other option with Lucas on the verge of death, his family agreed and...over the course of the next 72 hours Lucas underwent an operation very few have ever undergone. In secret this Doctor had found ancient schematics that had once been used on the first Rider, a legendary hero in their world who once served the God of Justice and Vengeance Lucifer. The one who had been altered by an evil organization as a weapon and rebelled, fighting a lonely battle against evil. He modified these schematics to use modern technologies that had since been invented as well as improvements and the like as necessary. With this he sought to save the young child of the two heroes that had saved him. This trial was the hardest thing Lucas had ever undergone but he knew that there was little else that could be done so he fought onwards so that he could see the sun one day!

The surgery was a success and he walked out, his sickness utterly destroyed by the enhanced nanobots that now moved through his body, he was stronger, faster, and as able-bodied as he always wished to be! His family all hugged him in relief and he spent the many years afterwards with them, helping on their farm, growing and learning and sparring with his brother, playing games with his sister, and everything a child should be able to do! Unfortunately, this would not last forever. One day a group of bandits attacked the farm while Lucas was watching the animals, he rushed out and fought against them and as he fought power welled up within him, until mid-punch he transformed! He had become a Rider! The Fightin' Rider! Unfortunately, Riders had much stricter regulations around them than Rangers did, especially since he was the kid of two famous riders and although his family tried to hide him, the Rider Academy found out about him and came and took him in for training and teaching.

They really couldn't do anything about it as much as they tried as the Rider Academy and Rider Council had far more power and influence than they did. So Lucas underwent training in the academy where he met one of the few riders who'd inspire him to become a hero, The Rider Death Anubis. There he trained and trained and as the years went by, he slowly became more and more bitter to the point where he lashed out at his family and went through a phase of sheer emotional turmoil and darkness in his life. That was....until he took on a supply run mission from the Rider Guild, a supply run to a Kaijin-run area known simply as The Pipeline. Little did he know this would change his life for the better.

He rode his bike deep into the mountains with the supplies and when he got there he saw him, the person that he'd dedicate his life to. Before him he met what he thought was another human but was actually a Spider Kaijin, He was the sole Rider of the Pipeline, the Shadow Spider Jimmy. He didn't know what it was but he felt...attracted to Jimmy and as they talked he only grew more and more attracted to the young Kaijin. It started with them just talking as he helped carry in the supplies but as the months passed he'd take on every mission he could to the pipeline and as they continued to interact, their love grew deeper and deeper still. They went on their first date about 6 months after they met and Lucas became friends with many of the people of the pipeline who came to unofficially consider him as one of their own due to the unbound kindness and compassion he showed them. After their first date he revealed his true form to Lucas as a sign of love and trust, he had 8 eyes, soft brown fur with lighter brown stripes covering his body, extra limbs that came out of his back and wrapped around his torso, and wicked fangs that stuck out of his mouth slightly. Jimmy was worried that Lucas would be afraid of him now but....he loved Jimmy all the more and expressed that to him, which honestly made Jimmy really flustered and like "holy shit i can't believe my boyfriend loves me this much holy fuck hnghhghhgfhghhghhg" so good vibes all around really.

Rather than treat the Kaijin as well...monsters, he treated them as any other people and showed them respect and kindness many of them were unused to from anyone outside the pipeline. After seeing this and seeing all the praise Lucas was getting from the people of the Pipeline, the Rider Council made him the official ambassador to the pipeline as usually the people of the pipeline didn't take to outsiders this much. There was one member of the council however who had...ulterior motives for this. He was known as the Golden Patriarch and was the head priest of the Church of the Golden Goddess. His Goddess loathed all monsters and Kaijin and the entire church was considered a human supremacist organization. He only managed to get a seat on the council because riders associated with the church, including him, did tons of charity work, helped people around the world, and generally worked for the betterment of humanity.

He saw the pipeline as an eyesore and something to be purged but could do nothing because of the fact they were considered a non-hostile nation, made up of neutral and good kaijin who had escaped and rebelled from the ones who created them. It also didn't help that the pipeline constantly changed the delivery locations and entrances they used as a means of protecting themselves from people like the Church and their former masters. Seeing Lucas become the ambassador led him to concoct a plan, a plan to finally rid the world of the pipeline. In secret he had people follow Lucas, tracing his path and slowly getting an idea of where the pipeline could be as the priest built an elite squad of the church's finest to siege the pipeline when the time had come.

Meanwhile, with permission from the pipeline Lucas introduced Jimmy to his family and they were nothing but loving and accepting with Azriel teasing his brother especially. Lucas and Jimmy were happy together and because of Jimmy, Lucas had finally left the dark times of his life and all he saw ahead of him was the light and love he deserved. Azriel meanwhile had finally been officially recognized as a Solo Ranger, allowing him to gain the revenue of a full team and especially help his family back home (As well as pay for repairs to his Zord.) He had also been accepted to go to Japan to train underneath Chiyono's family, the Majima family. Lucas had also been accepted and it was planned for him to go after Azriel completed his training. During this time Lucas continued to run supply missions and slowly make a name for himself in the city, working alongside other riders and eventually getting his junior certification. Azriel in the meantime became a master of his family's sword and shadow arts and became the first in the clan's history since his mother to be chosen by the Blade of the Devil Wolf: Ryūketsu, a blood-draining blade that granted it's wielder immense power as they continued to get damaged and fight.

Afterwards, Lucas bid Jimmy goodbye for a while and went off to train for 6 months under the Majima clan himself, instead of the path his brother had taken, Lucas had instead taken to the clan's runic, magical, and crafting arts. He became particularly gifted in their Illusionary Runes, which they sold to others as a form of cosmetic enhancement, the Majima Clan's storage technique Item Dimension, as well as their charm-based rune techniques! During this time however, the final squad to be led by the Golden Father had been chosen, they were simply waiting for Lucas to make his next delivery run to begin their plans...

When Lucas returned, he got ready to do a routine suppy run for the pipeline, unbeknownst to him however he was followed by the Church's forces. As he was helping Jimmy store the supplies, the church invaded without warning. They managed to break through the usual defenses and took a family that had been near the surface and about to go out for a walk hostage. Lucas, horrified by this, rushed to the entrance with Jimmy and watched as the golden father brought his blade down on the father of family's neck. At this point Lucas...blacked out. When he came to he was holding a Claymore covered in gore he had never seen before and standing over the body of the Golden Father, slashed in half and the bodies of the squad that had been brought with him. Thankfully, the rest of the family was safe and although they assured Lucas that they didn't blame him and they knew that there was no way he could have known he was being followed, he still blamed himself deeply even as Jimmy tried to comfort him. He called the authorities and they came and performed an investigation and Lucas was sent back to the council for a debriefing.

Their investigation brought everything the Golden Father had done to light, in spite of this however the Church used their influence to mess with the investigation, as many of the other head priests were spiteful towards young Lucas for what he did (And also his general just outright disrespect of him during their classes/meetings.) Because of them messing with as much as they could they managed to very nearly get Lucas excommunicated, but the few good men on the council did what they could. Lucas was banned from being the ambassador of the pipeline, given a probationary period, and was forced to attend the Golden Goddess's priest training as a means of repentance. After this however came the straw that broke the camel's back, he was banned from contacting jimmy ever again.

In secret, he still kept in contact, but he quickly fell into despair once more and when his family found out Azriel in particular became enraged, far more enraged than he had ever been before. While Lucas was completing his priestly training, Azriel stormed the academy and council headquarters in his zord and razed both to the ground (Strangely enough no one was harmed in this.) He was declared a criminal and a heretic and went on the run, even as Lucas returned to help the academy rebuild. Despite this, Lucas did not resent his brother, he just wished things would get better after this. Years passed, and Lucas graduated the academy while Azriel became a vigilante that had joined a rebel army that had formed against the status quo, rooting out seeds of corruption and causing mass chaos and mayhem for those in power. After graduation he cut off ties with the council and the academy and became a solo rider and reunited with Jimmy and for a time he was happy again.

Until that was, the son of the golden father came seeking revenge wielding powers that allowed him to hop between dimensions and wield strange spatial abilities. He came for Lucas and Lucas fought with all his might and although he managed to defeat him, he ended up falling in a portal that had been thrown by him. So begins Lucas's multiversal adventures.
