Rough draft

# I live in a different world than you do. We share the same host but it’s a different world. This earth isn’t what you know it to be. The earth I live on has shown itself to be a living breathing organism and it’s proven that to humans over the past few generations. I’m also not the same as you. I’m human but I’m more evolved. You see about 1000 years ago, around your time, the earth was littered with humans. So much so that it was killing Mother Earth . The great Mother Earth wanted to provide for us but just simply couldn’t meet our overwhelming demands. We often asked to much of Mother Earth. So Mother Earth made a choice.giant blessings from in the ground sprouted up without bias of landscape. She sprouted giant trees and other plant life forms that humans had never seen before! Many buildings and other national treasures were destroyed but we gain so much more. We gained the gift of new life from our mother. She provided a new form of life and gave us a new future. At first everyone was excited and overwhelmed about these new blessings that the Mother Earth bestowed on us. But like most things given to us, we took advantage. These new trees that sprouted around the world gave new life to humans. You see, they released pheromones that made humans more “sterile” only one child could be produced from humans but the babies that were birthed would be a whole new step in the evolutionary chain of humans. Humans had been given the next step! We became smarter, with greater capabilities in problem solving, accelerated learning and maintaining knowledge. Our senses became far more enhanced as well. We gained abilities like smelling in stereo and even a bit of electro reception! We became 3 times stronger and more flexible than the average human and faster and more agile than . We could swim better and maintain different pressures and temperatures. We truly were a new species of human. We started to realize that other animals started to evolve as well. As if the whole planet was evolving. The human race was thriving for the first 20 years until we  found out that the pheromones that helped us evolve was also killing us. We found that only the new humans could make offspring with other new humans and only some could produce more than one offspring. Mass panic ensued when the population started to decline as we thought humanity was becoming doomed. The life expectancy of a human declined heavily each day. It went from people living to 80-100 to living to 50-60. There were myths about the sap in the trees that would grant new life for any non new gen human. So people began to fight for territories of these giant trees that had, like magic, sprouted from the ground. It wasn’t until it was too late before we realized that the gifts Mother Earth bestowed on us were not powers to be trifled with. The old generation of human decided to cut into some of the trees to mine them of the sacred sap and become what 1/4th of the population had become only to find that these organisms were made to give new life but to take from old. Cutting into theses trees made them release a new pheromone that would kill anything that was not a product of the new world. Meaning, the human race went from 8 billion to roughly 1 million worldwide. All younger than the age of 25 a new world was left. Buildings destroyed plant life ruled the earth and new undiscovered life and threats were created. The new generation of human are able to produce 1-2 offspring in their life so since that time 1000 years ago our population has gone from 1 million to about 100,000. We are a dying race. There are new predators out in this world that we have had to learn to live with. Humans have mostly taken refuge in the massive trees across the major land we call cities. Much is not known about the outside world, many things have changed! Changes like in atmosphere, more extreme weather patterns, and plant life is far more dangerous and intelligent. This is not the earth you knew. This is Mother Earths new creation. This is
