Pokemon Type: Mystic

The Mystic type is both ancient and new; one of the forgotten types of the lost ancient history. Esoteric manuscripts found in the Miska region claim that Arceus committed a horrible sin in ancient times, erasing this type from the world around the same time it sealed away Noxarias *a Mystic type* and one of the other three Pokémon at the same level as Arceus (its counterparts of the Four Pillars of Reality). These manuscripts claim that a coven of Magijynx in an attempt to leave a keystone for the revival of their type wove a Curse into the world so that a single move would remain of their type. As there are no modern comparisons Pokémon researchers have labeled this move as a "???" type.

*Of course that is all based on a single manuscript found in the Mountains of Confusion in Miska Town's University. (the founding town of the first humans to inhabit this strange and mysterious region)


The Mystic type is one of the few types that Arceus has no plate for, and no perfect defense against it; thus strengthening the belief of the locals that Arceus would banish it from the world. That and the manuscript claims that in ancient times "Mystical Creatures" while normally behaving like smart animals would at times be formed into armies by "Dark Lords" which were typically of the Mystic Type, and sought to control the world.


Mystic types are strong against, Normal, Ghost, Steel, and Fighting types.

Mystic has a mutual destructive alignment with Electric types. Mystic types are weak against electricity, and electric types are weak against Mystic attacks.

Mystic has a mutual protective alignment with Psychic types; said because the two naturally block the other. Meaning that Psychic attacks are weak against Mystic types, and Mystic attacks are weak against Psychic types.
