2020 Break - SudoTrainer

Hey all, this wasn't gonna be a long paste but it got a little long. TL;DR is at the bottom :)

So speedrunning was a passion for me for a couple of years, but I've already kind of been taking a break from it and basically doing other things. I got married, been hanging with friends more and just more casual gaming. I'm really happy where my life is at and where it's going. And I don't have that want to speedrun again, and I don't really know if that will happen really. I recently ran KH II at a Midwest Speedfest marathon and truthful I had a blast! But now I have ran every speed game I've loved in a marathon or some capacity. It seems like a good time to just 'stop' and focus on other things.

I will still be active on Twitch and Discord and DM me if you want to play league of Borderlands or whatever! Here are some words to those I have gotten close to.

Words to Others:

Midwest Speedfest: So Gooby reached out to me randomly to run Yellow at an event, and I was super new to Speedrunning. I was excited but nervous to do this but it was a super positive experience. Since then I have ran at like 5 other marathons (not hosted by this great group) and I can say that this group is hands down the best experience. Gooby you are a meme lord and do so damn much to make this event both fun and professional. Rocket you are one of the most genuine people I have ever met and damn you are smart. Helix you have such a great talent for speedrunning and streaming and I want to see you go far my dude. I wish you all the best.

UniqueSenpai: Dude you really are the best, you have been a real and good friend to me that I met through streaming. Bullshiting with you and Juanly has been some of the most fun I've had online. Please DM me if you ever want to carry a scrub in League or just to catch up.

Juanlyways: I love you bro, and Yellow races with you was the most fun I've ever had with speedruning. You are my favorite streamer and you are so damn good at it. I think you can be a big name in PSR both on leaderboards and on twitch itself. Keep being you and keep up the laughter.

Marcherify: You have a damn big heart dude, and I am really happy to have gotten to meet you. You have been there to chill so many times, and I have really loved chatting. I still want to watch you stream more if you ever come around back to that.

Kraechel: My Kraeby, you are funny as shit (no matter how dark your humor can be at times). You always made me laugh and you are hands down the the biggest meme lord I know.

Maxyne: I think I randomly found your stream one day, and I am super impressed with everything you are. You really are a great speedrunning and I hope you have more time for it in the future.

PatchSavage: Can I even describe you as smart when you are probably too next level for that? You are the freaking best, and I hope you do get back to streaming at some point!

Benjee: My duuuuuuuude, you are a bro and wicked smart. No mater how stressful shit got I had a blast planning marathons with you.

Orucsoraihc: I really can't wait to see what times you post in a few years, hell months even. You are a talented run my dude keep going.

Gunner: You are a strat up one of the best people I have gotten to know, and a great streamer. Endless hours of entertainment and knowledge. I'll still be in stream so not much is changing here, but I appreciate all you've done.

Exarion: You are the GOAT imo, Really good a routing which I freaking love, though I am bad at lol. I'm glad you have a pretty good setup now in MN let me know if you ever want to hang.

Pokeguy: Congrats on Yellow WR, and thanks for being so much fun to chat with and tell me I'm slow. I love hanging in your stream, and I can't wait to see what you do next.

Wsop: In the race tourney I got to actually know you and I am really grateful for that. You are so smart and you just explain shit so well. Thanks for all the help, I know I'm slow at learning shit so it must not have been easy :P

Bobelle: STREAM MORE! But real talk, you are chill and I know I will see you in Gunner's stream still but I miss hanging in your own stream!

Hwangbro: Good god keep going dude. Going into the Red Tourney I was saying you were gonna be a big threat even though not too many knew you. I was right :P I'm glad you are having great success with everything, and I can't wait to see what you do.

Gymfreak: Jimmy you are great and I want you to know that you really are one of the kindest people I've met. Be you cause you are freaking wonderful.

TIKevin83: Man you are one of my friends through and through. I loved being apart of your wedding and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Keep up the TAS work I love seeing it all.

Stringflow: I have always loved chatting with you about programming, and I'm glad I got to meet you over GDQ. Despite the situation with your flight, I had a blast hanging with you.

Araya: PSR god right here. You are funny and a great runner. Also one of the best at explaining shit. Gen 1 - 9,999 and you can play them all at high level, just amazing.

Quelaagging: Que when I was streaming a lot I wanted to be more like you, cause I feel like you just have a way with chat. You are a great runner and a fantastic streamer. Even though you stream at the worst time for me please keep at it.

Headbob: BOBBY! Thank you for yoloing the semi-finals in the tourney so I got 4th place :P I hope I see you stream more cause I have a blast watching your runs.

SLweed: You are the coolest speedrunner out there, and talking about random shit was a blast. I hope you continue to get a chance to travel, cause I know how much you love Japan my dude.

Franchewbacca: Red obsessed :P Bro you are a great runner and a great guy. Hanging making fun of juanly and patronizing was so much fun, and I hope college is going well.
