[color=orange]The wielder of SG-r03' Gungnir, Tachibana Hibiki. A girl who fights while believing in the 'song of her heart', desperately wishing to connect others to her hands. Hardworking, kind and always trying to help others, Hibiki wields her Symphogear with the motivation to try and help people all around the world who may be suffering. This extends even to her enemies--- there are numerous times where Hibiki will try to help someone even if they flatly refuse her hand and try to kill her. It is because she desperately wants to understand and communicate her feelings that she fights not to win, but simply 'not to lose', borrowing the encouragement of the most important person in her life. Hibiki doesn't like having to hurt others, but she has resolved herself after a long series of conflict and combat that it is necessary to fight with all she has, even if there is a great frustration in her all the while. Her kindness and simplicity borderline idiocy and rashness in the eyes of others, but Hibiki's earnest attitude has earned her many enemies-turned-friends and keeps her near constantly optimistic about her belief in herself and especially the people around her.

That's not to say she doesn't come without her faults. Her tendency to continue attempting to reach her opponents instead of defeat them can become a liability sometimes, and her naivety could possibly allow others to take advantage of her kind nature. As well, Hibiki does not do well with trauma. She has an unfortunate past that wrapped her in loneliness for many years, only staved off by the presence of her best friend, Kohinata Miku. Being the only survivor of a horrid incident with beings called the Noise, Hibiki was singled out as a 'curse' and a strange girl who came back nearly the same as if she weren't in an accident. This attempt of hers not to worry others ended up creating a rift between Hibiki and the town she lived within. Many even accused her of taking the government's money for disaster relief simply to live off happily with her parents rather than need it for any trauma at all. This, combined with her alcoholic father leaving her family at their most desperate time when it seemed the entire world was against them left Hibiki with incredible scars. These persist into the present day; although she tries to be better about it, Hibiki is prone to bits of self doubt and running away from her problems, hiding them with a facade and a nearly ever-present smile. Not willing to let others be sad or worry over her yet unable to overcome problems related to herself, Hibiki often carries her emotions hidden, where they will unleash themselves in the worst of situations occasionally or overwhelm her even in the middle of battle. Due to her own tendency to run away from her issues and ignore problems related to herself, she can be shortsighted when it comes to realizing the [i]emotional pain[/i] of others close to her, such as her best friend who spent years uncomfortable with the fate she felt she pushed on Hibiki for being the reason she attended the very concert that changed Hibiki's life. She also failed to realize that what Miku wanted most was for Hibiki to stop fighting and be safe, and share with her the feelings she kept hidden for years. In the end, Hibiki sometimes can only see the pain of others if they're in clear danger; she will do everything she can for them, but her actual awareness towards more subtle day to day problems seems to be rather lacking.

Despite this--- she truly is a good, genuine girl. Learning everyday from her mistakes with those around her, she thrusts forth her hand not for the sake of hurting others, but to accept their pain and try to shoulder her own alongside them. There's very little people more dependable and determined than Tachibana Hibiki, and despite her shortcomings, she's more than capable of turning feelings into miracles and doing the impossible. Her simplicity is perhaps her greatest strength, always believing in her own justice and striving ahead for the good of others. Hibiki does not conceitedly think of her actions as 'right or wrong', but she does act with the belief that the song in her heart will steer her to the future she believes in.[/color]

I play the character as a mixture of what I imagine post-XV to be like and XDU's events. Though, that doesn't mean I'm unwilling to play any other time period in her life for those interested. As well, if anyone just wants to discuss Symphogear--- I absolutely love the franchise and everything connected with it way, way too much.[/color]
