Mitochondria shift

It was less a new set of organelles and more a change to existing ones; your mitochondria had shifted somewhat. In the same was as your..."quantum" organelles didn't truly exist, parts of your mitochondria had ceased to have a coherent physical existence. Instead, it existed as a sort of strange photonic crystal lattice-which didn't make any sense, because photons don't act like crystal, and crystal certainly didn't act like organic matter.
