  3. Phases of the game are as follows:
  4. - First Day (introduce characters and premise, day ends when everyone has spoken)
  5. - First Night (for Townies only Communicate and Roleplay actions are avilable, Mafia must Remove an NPC instead of a player)
  6. - Day # (announce who was removed the previous night and what their role was, vote to remove a player from the game, need majority for the vote, day ends when everyone has voted)
  7. - Night # (all night actions are available for every player (except Impede which is Mafia only,) Mafia must pick a player to Remove from the game, night ends when all actions are resolved)
  8. - End (if at the end of a day or night phase a player's win condition is achieved, the game ends and the winner is announced)

  10. Here are all the roles players may be assigned in Pokemon Mafia:
  11. - Townie (most common role, wins when all Mafia are removed from the game)
  12. - Town Cop (town-aligned, wins when all Mafia are removed from the game, Investigate actions are much more likely to succeed, some Cops may be incompetent, meaning Investigate results will be fake)
  13. - Town Doctor (town-aligned, wins when all Mafia are removed from the game, Protect actions always succeed)
  14. - Mafia (can talk to other Mafia players in secret during the night, must remove one player from the game every night, wins when Townies no longer outnumber Mafia)
  15. - Mafia Cop (mafia-aligned, wins when Townies no longer outnumber Mafia, Track and Watch actions are much more likely to succeed, Investigate actions, some Cops may be incompetent, meaning Investigate results will be fake)
  16. - Mafia Doctor (mafia-aligned, wins when Townies no longer outnumber Mafia, Protect action is replaced with Impede)
  17. - Survivor (rare third party role, guaranteed extra life, wins if alive at the end of the game)
  18. - Lone Wolf (rare third party role, guaranteed extra life, removes one player from the game every night, wins when there's only one other player left)

  20. The Night Actions are, in no particular order:
  21. - Roleplay (do a roleplay action that might give you a consumable item to boost future Night Actions)
  22. - Remove (remove a player from the game, if you're Mafia this action will always succeed)
  23. - Protect (prevent a player from being removed from the game)
  24. - Block (prevent a player from performing their action)
  25. - Communicate (have a private conversation with another player)
  26. - Track (find out what action a player performs)
  27. - Watch (pick a player, and find out who is visiting them)
  28. - Investigate (Cop exclusive actions that can be used to find a player's role)
  29. - Impede (Mafia Doctor exclusive action that interferes with Investigate actions)

  31. Each player's character has 26 stat points they can put into any of their 6 stats, 1-10 points per stat:
  32. - Strength (affects Remove and Block actions)
  33. - Intelligence (affects Track, Watch, Investigate, and Impede actions)
  34. - Charisma (affects Communicate and Block actions)
  35. - Endurance (affects Protect actions, chance at an extra life, chance to survive Remove actions)
  36. - Agility (affects the order in which actions are resolved, some actions are easier if you get there early)
  37. - Luck (better chance to succeed at things in general)
