  1. Thoughts on RE3

  3. Dodge Mechanic is cool, albeit a little strong in some circumstances. It kinda renders the Nemesis bosses a joke, but is still kind of janky against basic Zombies.

  5. Music was done well. They basically recreated the original OST which I found very cool.

  7. The gore on zombies is missed.

  9. Nemesis is underutilized. He basically only exists in the city to push you to the next set piece, and his appearances are also so sparse and short. He stalks you less than Mr X did in RE2R... these guys positions are flipped around entirely. I feel like they could've utilized him far more, possibly even in the sewers, if they had just allowed players to completely down him like the original RE3. This bad 'take a knee' mechanic is essentially crippling their ability to go nuts with Nemesis as you cannot totally eliminate him, so they played it safe, and it was just as bad in RE2R.

  11. Pale Heads are terrible. They were terrible in RE2R, and they're terrible here. This enemy did not deserve to come back. Tentacle Heads, once again, waste of an enemy. Knockoff of the Plagas from RE4, and far more cheap than the Plagas from RE4. Side note: still cannot believe we lost Spiders but these fucks exist.

  13. Final Area (specifically the 'Factory/Lab') is garbage. Did not have any fun with this section period. They throw enemies at you with no rhyme or reason, specifically *those two rooms*. Putting five enemies in a doorway (especially when its Pale Heads and Tentacle Heads) is not good design, nor is it fun design. They fucked up the final area.

  15. Brain Sucker section wasn't as fun as I thought it'd be. Kind of just... annoying? Especially on the higher, unlockable difficulties.

  17. Nemesis 2/3 have far too much HP, and Nemesis 3 is basically a copy/paste of Nemesis 2 with mobs. Also, them adding mobs to that fight is just a lazy way to pretend it isn't just the same fight again.

  19. Didn't like the 'Defend Jill' section. Not really hard, it just kind of came out of nowhere and I don't really think it did anything for the game. Just felt like padding.

  21. Conclusion: Liked the City, Sewers and the Hospital. Hated the Lab. Nemesis was underutilized.
