  25. Hello, after a break of 3 years from IM i want to give it another try.
  26.  
  27. In 2015 i made 27000 Euro in Revenue in dating campaigns but honestly said i was at -3000 Euro in overall and i stopped. I had good days with 200 Euro profit but this days died out fast and i was not able to see stable green. At this time i also had some trouble with my offline business and it was anyway to much.

  29. But in my head i always thought about coming back.
  30.  
  31. I also sell a niche product via FBA. I sell around 70 pieces on autopilot the month. I tried to push that more with social traffic but i was not able to make it profitable so i let it run like it is and think about adding some more products soon.

  33. But with trying FB ads for this product i was thinking about using FB for IM and so i am here now.
  34.  
  35. So what i will try:
  36.  
  37. Sweep offer for female audience 30+ (in my homecountry, so i can test with mother language first)
  38. It pays 2$. I tested this offer with some "blackhat"-posting in related groups and it converts.
  39. The problem is that i only have one CPA- net work account left (maxbounty).
  40. The ones i worked with in 2015 are not online anymore i think (smashrevenue for example).
  41. I setup tracking with Bemob cause they have a free plan to start.
  42. I use pixel tracking to get no problems with FB for the redirect.
  43.  
  44. I started running traffic yesterday to one campaign with three different images.
  45. Two pictures got very bad CTR and cost around 0,35€ - 0,70€.
  46. Still running one picture now. Will let it run a day now to see what will happen.
  47.  
  48. Today and tommorow i will not have much time to build new things.
  49. I will test new things and update on tuesday.
  50.  
  51. Until now i have low clicks from Lander to offer and no conversion. I think maybe my angle is bad or a three question lander is to boring
  52. for this kind of add. I will try a pure lander with one "call to action" button also.
  53.  
  54. What to do:
  55. - Let this campaign run to see what more traffic to the last pictures will bring
  56. - Building new camaigns with other angles
  57. - Sign up to other CPA networks to get access to more offers
  58. - I recognize that bemob is not showing the data i want from facebook. It looks i make something wrong here. It shows clicks and that but not
  59. which picture got the clickthroughs. I put the right tokens into the url at adsmanager like it is descibed within the bemob support site but
  60. its not working. Maybe i have to ask bemob support for further help.

  257. I stopped this campaign yesterday evening.
  258. I had one image with 0,22 € CPC (and this is still to expensive)at the end but the problem was the CTR from lander to offer was like zero :-) i think the clickers did expect something else then i was able to give them. Also i had some fear of using words like "win/money/the €-price of sweep" and things like that. How far can i go here? Does FB ban me only when i use worde or ads like this? for example: "Moms can win 250€ here!!" ???? i tried to work around that, but it does not work in this first test.

  260. I started with a three questione lander i got only two clicks :-) and then i changed to a one question lander (with a script on it to make the full site clickable). But also with this lander i only got 3 more clicks :-)

  264. So to say the first test was absolutely BS.

  266. Another problem is tracking. I setup anything on Bemob and use no redirect but pixel tracking on landing page. Clicks from facebook and to offer are showing correctly but in reports i cannot see the data from the url-parameters i setup within the FB-campaign. At the moment i do not know exactely what the problem is. Wrote to Bemob support. Hope they will help me out there.

  268. I will wait to setup new campaign until i know the problem with tracking. Cause one thing i remember from my dating campaigns years ago: sometimes the cheapest clicks are not the clicks with best conversion rate. Its for sure important to get really cheap clicks with offers that only pay that low, but its important to know which adset/image brings in the conversions.

  302. - get your tracking in place
  303. - read some stuff about angles and possible conversion wordings
  304. - find time to gather some good/unique/hq/interesting images

  306. And for next test give it some more time. 40 FB clicks is nothing ofcourse. I know it might hurt it cost money but trust me, some good testing is needed to learn the basics and more...

  346. Very True..This Business is all about losing money->gaining data(also experience)->utilising the experience learnt for next campaign->making money. So basixally you never lose money here if you’re focused..Just keep developing!

  384. Thanks. Yes sure. I know that 40 clicks are nothing. But i think it makes no sense to let run ads that have really no potential. I am ready to lose money. But when i let run an ad to an offer and got only a few clicks CTR from lander then i think there is something really wrong and must change it. I know that testing is anything. For now i still wait for support from bemob tracking. After that i will start new campaigns.

  415. yes sure. like i wrote before i have done dating in 2015 and lost much money and tested a lot. i know that not the first campaign will bring me millions :-) but with my first facebookcampaign was to much wrong to let i run further in my opinion. will set up new ones after i got help with my tracking problem. thank you

  467. I can’t see how the maths is going to work out with a low paying sweeps offer. You might have more potential running a credit card submit, the offers are pretty much the same, but with a higher payout

  469. With 10c clicks and a $2 payout you’ll really struggle to break even, a landing page is essential and that’s going to impact the overall conversion rate even more

  497. Yup that CPC is way too high - test more images to get that CTR up and CPC down.

  499. But keep an eye on the conversion rate - if the high CTR doesn't translate into conversions then it's no good.

  542. Like Nickpeplow suggested here, the low payout offer is most likely working against you on a quality more expensive source like Facebook. Not saying its impossible to make low payouts work, but for a newcomer it might be a difficult task.

  580. 10ct could "easily" become 5ct with the right image/angle ofcourse. That will make a huge difference already. Thereby find some better converting advertisers and you got a decent case. Doing CC submits requires some more advanced skills ofcourse, and definitely a pile of fresh accounts since they will go down in short time. Lots of complaints too when running CC's in general.

  785. - Tracking the URL parameters are working now. I can see which images bring in the clicks. That´s really fine.

  787. On the other site i found out that my ads are really not aggressive enough. Again with the newest campaign i got very bad CPC costs. Also with some changes of the pictures and with red arrows and such stuff i was not able to come under the 0,22€ the click. And that is by far to much.

  789. So i decided to stop that and build other kinds of ads.

  791. I signed up to the blackhat spytool. it is 1$ for one day trial. I took some look there and found out that there where some much more aggressive ads running and decided to do it like that. I do not know if they are using cloaking for that. I will see if my ads go life (they are under review right now).

  793. Another problem is that traffic is coming in very slow. It reaches not the daily amount i did setup. For the new ad i will setup higher daily amount. Maybe its going more near the amount i want with it. I need much more traffic to collect more data. This slowness makes me impatient :-)

  854. Regarding the bhspy.com ... all ads there are from blackhat campaigns and money pages are cloaked. For some ads, you can see the red button GET LP and download cloaked lander.

  913. - I was able to find an related angle and picture that brings me now clicks for 0,07€. Traffic is now rolling. Other pictures had CPC round 0,20€. That was to much and i deleted them.
  914. - Also my first conversion comes from the picture with lowest clickprice.
  915. - The Problem is that the CTR from my lander was under 20% and the convertion rates sucked of the offer. I got 35 clicks but only one conversion.
  916. - I decided to splittest against another offer (similar sweep with same supermarket brand) with lower payout. Until now i have 15 clicks to it and one conversion. Will see how this works the rest of the day.
  917. - Cause the landing page have that low CTR rate i also made some little adjustments here and hope that works. Otherwise i will never be able to make profit with such low payout offers. I need much higher CTR

  950. - splittested three offers now (SOI, supermarket sweeps for same brand)
  951. offer 1: 35 clicks (1 conversion)

  954. - my landing page have now a CTR of 41% and the CPC of my adset is 0,06€

  956. so how can i find out now if 1) my whole funnel is not good and the people are to sceptical to fill out something or just think it is big fake (i had 2 bad comments that i deleted and 1 bad unlikes but also two likes on the ad) or 2) if the offers are not that good (i tested three and all are bad)... i don´t know

  1006. I have read some threads here where people are able to make profit with sweeps in FB. At the moment i focus on understanding what angles and landers work. will see if profit is possible with low payout offers.

  1026. One day more and i decided to change the following:
  1027. - setup a new fanpage (the first i have used was with a woman related "slogan" in the name of it. This maybe looked to spammy.)
  1028. - setup a new three question LP.

  1030. used the best picture and add some similar ones to check performance. the funny thing is that the best picture from my last campaign is also by far the best performing one in CPC with the new campaign. At the moment it is at 0.10€. But i hope that i goes down with more traffic to only to this picture now. The other pictures again have much higher CPC and it makes no sense to let them run with such low payout offers.
