  33. [01:35] ~Piexplode: like in GSC to an outsider, stall and offense in it look pretty similar; from the perspective of later generations, they are pretty similar indeed

  35. [01:36] ~Piexplode: in RBY it's less distinct to the point where it's argued about whether we should say we even have distinctive team archetypes in the tier, but generally consensus is that if we do it's
  36. [01:36] ~Piexplode: more defined by small variations in movesets usually, and a larger variation in mindset
  37. [01:37] ~Piexplode: obviously RBY and GSC become very different when looking at this from the perspective of later generations
  38. [01:37] ~Piexplode: to the point where in the latest one sacking a pokemon is a common part of a battle often
  39. [01:38] ~Piexplode: in RBY you'd still be preserving a frozen pokemon to take explosions and pivot and force switches lol; in GSC you do not ever

  142. [01:57] ~Piexplode: BAM will essentially offer up virtually any singular threat can be totally accounted for (if you like, no lovely kiss earthquake fire blast cursedrum triple normal STAB rest snorlax to theorise about beating)

  162. [02:00] ~Piexplode: buuuuuuuuut iirc I added mystic mirror (bbasically magic bounce) to locuspokus
  163. [02:00] ~Piexplode: which resists all of its potential attacks, is fat enough, etc.
