  1. 19:44] {NARRATION} Are they - is the Void - laughing?
  2. A sound echoes about the square, as many prepare to take up arms against whatever fresh hell it had brought to Myllenoris - but it's not easy to call a 'laugh' proper.
  3.
  4. No, it's the feeling that you are being taunted and mocked, used as a cheap, disposable toy, translated directly into noise.
  5.
  6.
  7. "Life - all lives you have ever lived - they were merely a trial run. A test, until you lived a life capable of joining us, becoming part of the chorus."
  8.
  9.
  10. The entity's flesh bubbles over - and rays of pale cosmic light shoot forth from it, space bending around its form as if it had infinitely more mass than it appeared...
  11.
  12.
  13. "Entertain us."
  14.
  15. [19:45] Gallen was now very much involved.
  16. (Gallen Pax)
  17. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18.
  19. [19:45] Atilus wonders where everyone in the square was... approaching the High Tower he is suddenly overcome with an eerie sense of being glared at.
  20.
  21. The Black Lupin visage looks up to see something beholden, eyes of a gazer and watcher looming overhead staring down in all directions and at all before it...
  22.
  23. Some otherworldly magic pulsing from its very being... The Rosier gazes back up into the being unknown...
  24.
  25. Then a sudden burst of cosmic light bursts from it. The Rosier steels himself.
  26. (Atilus Rosier)
  27. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  28.
  29. [19:49] Terhune's visage paled even more as he walked into a rather disturbing scene in Myllenoris. A giant monster!? From one to the next it seemed was his luck. They'd just pause as they saw the giant monster. Well that was horrifying in it's full grandeur.
  30.
  31. Really he'd have probably turned tail and rain like his life depended on it just then if it'd not bellowed out those words and made its move. With a shout of fear the horrified youth reached up and gripped the hilt of his blade, pulling it free and preparing to defend himself if needed.
  32. (Terhune)
  33. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  34.
  35. [19:50] Her partner's words cut deep, yet the despair she felt was all too familiar. Fearful eyes widen and turn to Elisha.
  36.
  37. Genuine confusion. Pain that mirrored his own. She didn't understand a thing, he'd realize. Just as his feelings reached her, her own would reach him.
  38.
  39. She'd only meant to protect family.
  40.
  41. ...and yet again she was misunderstood.
  42.
  43. Tears form in the distraught warrior's eyes as she panics and frantically digs through her pouch for something-- a familiarly red tinted potion. One that would allow her to forget her sorrows and indulge in the one emotion she'd suffered from for so very long:
  44.
  45. Rage.
  46.
  47. To run away, vent, and hide behind it rather than endure further pain. Yet along with her, he would feel the intensity of what plagued her.
  48.
  49. For that was what it meant to love.
  50. (Tea Ghede)
  51. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  52.
  53. [19:52] {NARRATION} Make sure to do /team 1 if you haven't! Or you will DIE.
  54. [19:53] Waylan mer Joyau says, "..."
  55. [19:57] Terhune shakily got back to his feet. That was a big hurty.
  56. (Terhune)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [20:06] {NARRATION} The combined might of Myllenoris's forces seem to fell the beast, if only for a moment... the world blinks for a third time. The countless eyes above, blotting out the sky, all seem to close.
  60.
  61. And then that cosmic, overpowering sense of dread returns in full force - stronger than ever before - as all reopen, now glowing a dark purple. The eye, too, bubbles over.
  62.
  63. Its flesh melts, recedes over the eyes that comprise it, and when it reforms - it has gained the same toxic, decaying color. It seems to melt at the seams, as if it could be reduced to a puddle of color at any moment.
  64.
  65. The whispers return, harsher. Maybe not quite angry, but they're certainly a little bit peeved...
  66.
  67.
  68. "The time will come when you forsake your face. When the songbirds look you over, and deem you imperfect, demand that you reenter this house of slaughter and war over and over again."
  69.
  70.
  71.
  72. "We offer you freedom from this hellish cycle. All we ask for in exchange is an amusing show."
  73.
  74.
  75. Space bends around the crackling entity.
  76.
  77. It seems it has one last trick up its sleeve before it finally melts away...
  78. [20:09] Was everyone betraying him now? Why was Tea on Anthonio's side. Why was his brother suddenly the bad guy? How many friends did Lumin have to lose in order for the gods to be satisfied? How many loved ones have to betray him before they would stop toying with him?
  79. "...Anthonio....d-damn...damn you. How can you...betray us? Betray ME!? I...thought you were my brother! I thought....i thought..."
  80.
  81. Tears would now be flowing down Lumin's eyes. A rare sight to see especially for a boy who was so aloof.
  82. "I'm tired of everyone betraying me. Now my own family has to be my enemy now!? Is that how it is!? What would Mother say if she saw you!? What would father say!? Why did you have to do this to me!? Wh-why did you leave me in the dust!?"
  83.
  84. Perhaps his words had met empty ears as Anthonio stood there succumbed to the Void. His words of family and companionship having no meaning for the one that was once his brother
  85. "...So be it then you...bastard. I'll entertain you..."
  86.
  87. The cold blizzard around Lumin would have completely overtaken him now. The voice in his mind echoing even further. A voice that had a striking resemblance to the one in the Vale. Even amongst the voices that filled his mind? This one would be the loudest
  88. Give in to the chaos, Lumin. Show your strength. Make them pay for what they have done to you tonight. For their betrayal...
  89.
  90. Once again, a nod is given to the voice as Lumin fires an arrow directly at the eye Calling it's for attention as he gets ready to fight the beast head-on. If it was defeated? His next target would have been set in stone..
  91.
  92. His brother.
  93. "I will defend the Vale. For Lady Aschea! You don't belong in this world!!"
  94.
  95. A barrage of arrows would have been fired upon the gigantic eye. It would have seemed that it was trying to draw the eye's attention. Allowing the other magis to continue to fight and trade blows as he lured him away and took the force of it's attacks.
  96.
  97. As the fight continued onward, Lumin would find himself bombared with blistering cosmic lights. Causing severe burns across his body that he was only able to mend with his water magic. Even the injuries he had faced, he would continue fighting to the very end. He had gone through worse...after all. This pain being nothing compared to his brother's betrayal...
  98.
  99. Finding an opening in the being's defense, the young Montclaire would see the perfect opportunity to land a shot directly into the middle of it's eye
  100. "Okay! Keep it steady for me! Keep hitting it with all you have!!!"
  101.
  102. With his brow furrowed and eyes directly locked onto the beast, he would pull the string back on his bow to the farthest depths. The blizzard behind the boy pouring a great amount of icemana into the arrow that was knocked into it.
  103. "Begone!"
  104.
  105. Thwip
  106.
  107. The arrow would have been fired at a lightning fast speed. Directly impacting the being right in front of it's pupil and tearing it's flesh asunder...
  108.
  109. But once all was said and done however? It didn't seem that it was out for the count just yet. In fact? Lumin probably made it angrier. The overpowering sense of dread that was once there before? Would have been even stronger now. The being having but one last trick up it's sleeve....
  110. (Lumin Montclaire)
  111. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  112.
  113. [20:09] Terhune realized in that moment he'd probably be scarred for life after witnessing these events. Which was a lot to take in. Horrified the youth screaming only intensified as he swung his blade once more into the frey of things.
  114. (Terhune)
  115. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  116.
  117. [20:10] Sherrie Mckenna says, "It changed..."
  118. [20:13] Twilly got an uncomfortable feeling from Gallen the old creep man, but there was bigger things than Gallen afoot.
  119.
  120. She had people to defend, her waters unfortunately downed a few people because.. accidents in a public area, but they'll be okay! Right?
  121.
  122. She looked over to Elisha and to Barrachan, nodding to them both to make sure they were alright and then even with the feelings being nearly overwhelming, she wasn't going to back down from this eyeball entity.
  123.
  124. "We offer you the opportunity.. to shut up.. Creepy thing.." That was about all the talking the mouse could muster at this point. She had to keep on fighting, not for herself, but for everyone around, she couldn't let something keep them in danger. Even if it's something she has no grasp of understanding of.
  125. (Twilly)
  126. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  127.
  128. [20:14] Terhune realized in that moment he'd probably be scarred for life after witnessing these events. Which was a lot to take in. Horrified the youth screaming only intensified as he swung his blade once more into the fray of things.
  129.
  130. As he ran the sounds of his crying which till this point had been muffled and hidden by the clatter of battle rang clear. The high pitched sounds assailing the ears of those around. Causing those closest to the boy to feel pain from it while the target of his fear was hit with a literal wall of noise.
  131.
  132. The note's cutting and digging into flesh like a school of fish encircling a piece of meat within the lake. Now though would this renewed effort at taking down the giatn eyeball monster go any better than the first one? That waited to be seen!
  133. (Terhune)
  134. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  135.
  136. [20:14] * You have been awarded 5 Roleplay Points! *
  137. [20:15] Lumin was certainly not the only one firing arrows. One after the other she sent crystals rocketing towards the giant ball of eyes, seeking to see it dead, destroyed, whatever.
  138.
  139. Its cosmic attacks were painful. The teen most certainly felt them upon her, and despite her best efforts one particular blow sent her flying to knock into the nearby wall.
  140.
  141. No. That was unacceptable. In the tournament, it wasn't a big deal. Now? This was to protect the Vale. Failure was unacceptable. The mantra returned, but this time verbal, the Teraphim using it to psyche herself up.
  142.
  143. "The spirits watch over us as we watch over them, reciprocal guardianship under the will of Mother Aschea, to hold to the balance as best we can."
  144.
  145. Failure was not an option. She was not Kiastara Hargrave now, she was but a Blackcloak. Only a Blackcloak. The albino raven manifest itself physical as the teen let out a roar, throwing herself back into combat with the now different-looking abomination.
  146.
  147. "For the Vale!"
  148. (Kiastara Hargrave)
  149. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  150.
  151. [20:15] We offer you freedom from this hellish cycle.
  152.
  153. For a moment, the offer feels almost enticing - to be unlatched from the woes of mortalhood and delivered into a form of existence that requires nothing but allowing it all to simply slither and drain away.
  154.
  155. No more worries, no more pain, no more revolt or consternation.
  156.
  157. No more need to protest and abhor.
  158.
  159. No more anything?
  160.
  161. Slowly, he realizes their assailer's investiture horrific nature, depraved and aberrant beyond the conceivable and cogitable.
  162.
  163. Strength is mustered, and resolve, fabricated - audacity and valor in the face of Creation's most abominable horrors could not be innate, simply counterfeit, invented.
  164. (Mikhail)
  165. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  166.
  167. [20:16] Cosmic mana clashed against cosmic mana, her blade against its flesh. The final hit may have been denied her by the young ice archer but it mattered not. The rush of combat, her body only sustained by the mana of magi around her. She dove at it recklessly again and again, her scales seared but her body unbending.
  168.
  169. The glory of combat, especially in mass sang around her. Explosions, tidal waves, and her own form darting amidst it, blade seeking to find its target. Roaring in defiance of its arrogance, its corruption of the stars. As it fell to the ice arrow she grinned, blade still at the ready.
  170.
  171. Apparently it wanted more. She was more than willing and able. Blade once more at the ready, cosmic mana once more in her claw, winds whipping around her, her eyes narrowed. Tail whipping through the air.
  172.
  173. "Do not falter, give its words no moment! Once more must it be shown our resolve! Fear not death, fear only weakness!"
  174. (Signe Daman)
  175. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  176.
  177. [20:17] Fierce magics rocked the square of Myllenoris, as all magi present jumped to combat the creature, its own magics bathing the area in cosmic radiation. Taking to the skies once more, Demios unleashed ripples of explosive force against the abomination, plasma following its wake, bombarding those many eyes.
  178.
  179. It appeared as though the mortal horde were winning, chipping away at the creatures as it's gaze of destruction swept the town. He veared down, coming to slam into the ground once more, a torrent of magma rolling forth, joining the sweeping arcs of magic launched from fellow magi, the creature succumbing.
  180.
  181. Blink.
  182.
  183. Demios shuddered once again, as the eyes above them all blinked in unison, their creature warping and forming anew, as whispers bombarded their minds once more.
  184.
  185. 'Life repeating... they would steal from us...'
  186.
  187. His beast greedy and angered, their lives being treated as toys for the amusment of cosmic entities.
  188. Heat rolled from his form, obliteration of this threat was the only acceptable outcome. He took to the skies once more.
  189. (Demios Arborea)
  190. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  191.
  192. [20:19] Ragen seems to have gained a second wind, for some reason after watching all the other Magi join up and fight, he was able to muster up some courage to fight as well. As the eyeball creature thing started moving, it's magic unexplainable and intentions unexplainable. The voice that echoed across the town, a message that sounds mostly divine.. it fell on Ragen's deaf ears. Instead he responded...
  193.
  194. "...it changed color, that means it's stronger!" He tightened his grip, his fire coated hands flared up...
  195. (Ragen)
  196. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  197.
  198. [20:19] As though she'd prepared many years for this moment - which she had - the Teraphim drifts around the outskirts of the battle, a customised blend prepared exactly for what she was staring upon.
  199.
  200. Throughout the square, buds began to bloom which puffed out grating plumes the swarms upon the being's eyes. Perhaps an attempt to blind the creature, or hinder one of it's many points of view.
  201.
  202. All of which was simply a mild distraction.
  203.
  204. True to herself, true to her purpose - a blue-leafed tree erects from the ground. One of the many Trees of Life nature magi could conjure. Except... quite different.
  205.
  206. Mists drift from the branches, occasionally condensing nearby to form some sort of precipitate. Mending waters to draw out the very best from the true defenders in harm's way.
  207.
  208. An 'oasis' one could fall back to receive life's embrace and carry on fighting death. Her true opponent.
  209.
  210. "It might hurt, but keep going..." The Teraphim calls out rather calmly, whilst they fought to subdue that being, she would fight to subdue the weakness of whoever she could reach.
  211. (Azalea)
  212. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  213.
  214. [20:20] Waylan arrived at the scene a little late, but from where he was sitting he could see magic in the center of Myllenoris. Something must have gone wrong, and to his surprise there was a creature here.
  215.
  216. He couldn't figure what happened, but so much was going on at the same time he didn't want to stand around. He summoned forth the blessing from Sae, taking his rifle to his hand.
  217.
  218. He prepared to rush down the creature with his combined magics. He had so many mixed emotions about what happened, but he knew for a fact this creature couldn't be allowed to continue it's rampage through the city.
  219. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  220. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  221.
  222. [20:20] Oppression occasionally found its way around the battle against the Void. The Drakanite finding his own internal battle lust desiring to test the dominion of the Void's influence against his own subjugation of reality itself. It was more than clear to him that the Void like create was capable of withstanding the full brunt of his subjugation many times over to his dismay. A scoff leaves his lips as he places his hands along the ground causing for the large golden runic circle to appear all around him.
  223.
  224. The Energy Gem pulsed with the power of Uner, the star that openly defied the presence of the void. Barrachan's form began to radiate cosmic energy as the latent energies in the area coalesced along the runic circle. "If you are offering freedom, then I am offering the opposite to you. That is the amusing show to me, creature. Imagine if you were bound, and subjugated to reveal all you have seen and witnessed." A brief smirk appears on his face as the earth around is finally subjugated under the will of the Drakanite.
  225.
  226. The runic circle completes its spell as ripples of cosmic light spark into existence all around aiming not at the creature, but at the audience it had spawned into being. Barrachan smirked through his sunglasses now. "You want entertainment? The subjugation of you and all the rest of the void sounds entertaining." He cackles loudly for a brief moment as the Chains of Oppression descended up every facet of the Void's being. Cosmic energies focusing in attempts to purge the void of its presence here.
  227.
  228. Earth shattered, metal was born, and raw energies of both spiritual and celestial variety danced around to restrict the Void. The Drakanite's hands glow a brilliant white as his will continuously expands from within.
  229.
  230. "Now tell me your name." He demands of the beast. He could not directly aim to subjugate it here, not while so many also foughtagainst the Voidborne, but in the least he could aim to sever its might, to oppress it enough to remember the challenges brought before it. As its body altered before him, he took a deep inhale and started to fire off the chains of oppression, intent on jailing the creature within.
  231. (Barrachan Vatoris)
  232. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  233.
  234. [20:21] Freedom from the endless cycle of death and rebirth. Before, it'd have been tempting, but now? Elisha feels most alive when hurt as at the forefront of his mind. As of now? He felt indescribable pain.
  235.
  236. Betrayal hurt more than any wound he'd gained on the battlefield, or during his patrols.
  237.
  238. In the moment, he feels betrayed on two fronts, and he's entirely certain that he suffers this burden alone. Memories of his days with Anthonio flash before him. All the times where he'd suffered from Tea's antics are relived.
  239.
  240. All for what?
  241.
  242. I thought I was your family.
  243.
  244. Grief overwhelms, and the wraith thrives on his suffering. Half a dozen spectral hands free themselves from Elisha, waving and slashing at what may appear to be nothingness.
  245.
  246. Yet those attuned could see those hands grabbing hold of ghosts, and turning them into specters. Silent, violent spirits, who march to the tune of Elisha's haunting melodies.
  247.
  248. (Elisha Avery Ghede)
  249. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  250.
  251. [20:22] Before such heavy weight in the balance, even optimism cannot fight the stain which carved his outer world. The gem embed within the palm of his left hand after an expedition to save the vale could only grow stronger. It begun with his veins darkened, now... His entire arm would be grasped in shadows, growing claws.
  252.
  253. He grew stained by the void, while the life is still blossomed. his right arm was found to be wrapped by root tendrilled around his silver arm. Then as the raven spreaded it's wings, soon resting upon Kiastara's shoulder, behind Myrin swirled the draconic serpent, which manifests the thunder about him.
  254.
  255. A rise of his left arm, stained by the void as the gem siphoned it, allowed the long claws of dark to rise. Then his right arm allowed the staff to tap the grass once again, allowing the nature to aid him as a soul who is born one with it.
  256.
  257. "You are not entertained yet?", he frowned. "Your place is beyond here. You are a weight of tooo much in the balance. You will die for this cause, for aschea, for the vale."
  258. (Myrin)
  259. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  260.
  261. [20:35] {NARRATION} Once more, the forces of Myllenoris descend upon the creature born of the deepest of the Void. Reality frays at the seams - gravity coming loose, dirt and grass being thrown about...
  262.
  263. Every so often, the countless eyes that have become the sky above bare down and blink, causing a massive burst of energy wherever they were directed. Shockwaves that threw civilians and soldiers alike, treating all as the same common sludge.
  264.
  265.
  266. "You are rejecting your own happiness. Throw away your face and join with the Void."
  267.
  268.
  269. The whispers return, no longer angry - moreso... strained? Exhausted, just the same as any person could be.
  270.
  271. And the entity that they had summoned - that Anthonio had summoned, to work as their beast of war - was unable to compose its form any longer. A hundred eyes began to blink for the first time in centuries, and the flesh that they were embedded into seemed to melt away...
  272.
  273. Leaving only the single, original eye behind, massive - and speared to the top of the temple, with only a thick purple sludge around it.
  274.
  275. Your chance to shine, Demios. Take the shot.
  276. [20:45] Demios had been darting above the creature, his air magics assisting in his agile movements, eyes above him, glaring, blazing down their energies on those below, the taunt of whispers still rocking through his mind, his inner beast raging against the notions.
  277.
  278. His bombardment continued, enhanced by the union of two souls enraged, fuming at the very existance of such belittlement.
  279.
  280. "We are not your toys!" His voice roared, his burnt orange hues sporting a star of crimson around their pupils, the creature withering under the rampent assault of all those surefire enough to stand against it. As the creature melted away from the intense heat and unrelenting barrage of magic, leaving only one singular eye, Demios snapped.
  281.
  282. Awash with rage, his talons splaying wide, an instance of time forming around him, accelerating him and only him, as he poured his mana forward, building a magmatic lance coated in plasmatic energies, glowing white hot, before being slamed my his long tail, compressing it down into a single speck of energy.
  283.
  284. The speck floated down gracefully, entrapped within his temporal magics, isolating it from the general timestream, before it lightly impacted the remaining eye.
  285.
  286. 'Blink for me.' The beastial baritone voice within growled out.
  287.
  288. The temporal magics popped and with it the entirety of that accumulated fire attuned energy followed suit, a silent spread across that massive eye, as it was engulfed in the purest of destructive energies.
  289. (Demios Arborea)
  290. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  291.
  292. [20:46] "Happiness...?"
  293.
  294. Elisha thought he'd found it, or at least a means to maintain a balance between the highs and the lows. As they push back the endless eyes, and it reforms into a single shape, he doesn't try and take the final shot.
  295.
  296. He'd stayed back, engaging the beast from afar, while commanding the spirits to pick up those who'd fallen. Suffering is wished upon all enemies, but in the moment? Elisha finds himself stressed and torn.
  297.
  298. Betrayed.
  299.
  300. The object of his joy catches his attention, and the anguish within pushes him forward. Where Tea's intentions were felt, they're met with resounding screams. She'd feel every ounce of his torment, from his stained soul, to the very emotion she'd forced him to endure.
  301.
  302. "You chose another, over me. Chose to help an enemy, over me. Chose to help one, who'd tormented and toyed with us, over me.
  303.
  304. And you dare show your face again so soon?" Trepid hands rise, to push Tea in the field south of the marketplace with a shockwave.
  305.
  306. "How dare you betray me?!"
  307.
  308.
  309.
  310.
  311. (Elisha Avery Ghede)
  312. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  313.
  314. [20:49] A glance was given back, after the battle had been completed, she'd had to babysit her friend Saewyn since he took a nap during combat, but she kept him on his feet. Most of what Twilly did wasn't direct attacking, she kept darting into the middle of the group to heal everyone the best she could.
  315.
  316. That is her duty after all, as a protector, and as a doctor.
  317.
  318. Soon, she'll be watching over what Eli and Tea are doing.. to have your own wife choose an enemy over her husband?.. she can't even imagine what her friend is going through.
  319. (Twilly)
  320. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  321.
  322. [20:53] The being would have continued to rip the land and town asunder with it's might rays of cosmic magic. But Lumin would not falter. Continuing to lure the being away and catch it's attention, he'd fire upon it with barrages of lightning fast ice arrows. Typhoons of water and blizzards surrounding and keeping the being at bay at the other magi's got to work in defeating the being once and for all..
  323.
  324. Blood would lay across the entire land of Myllenoris. Lumin's own blood would have been dripping from his body and clothes as he continued to fight the being. Only taking a small break here and there to catch his breathe and soothe his wounds. It would have been a long, grueling, and tactical fight full of absolute and utter chaos.
  325.
  326. But amongst all of that chaos? Lumin would have found himself absolutely being immersed in it. Calling out directions and tactics to various magis and soldiers so that they could defeat the beast as efficiently and with as few losses as possible. Perhaps he cared too much about the stare of Myllenoris to have it fall right here and now. Every instance of Lumin's energy would have been made to fighting the beast and using complex tactics to take it down...
  327. "Everyone! Don't give it time to retreat! Keep fighting! We must not let it put any more fear into our hearts!"
  328.
  329. More barrages of arrows would have been sent in the way of the beast. Once all was said and done? With blood plastering the battlefield and the army of magis being at their last resort, Lumin's very own Uncle Demios would have been there to give the finishing blow to the beast. Sending it back to the realm from whence it came..
  330. "...And good riddance..."
  331.
  332. The adrenaline would have been coursing through Lumin's body now. It didn't seem he cared about who had dealt the finishing blow or not. Only caring about it's defeat and that it would have been gone from therealm of the living..
  333. "..Where's Anthonio?"
  334.
  335. Lumin would tilt his head around his surroundings to try and find any sort of trace of his brother amongst the chaos. His brow still furrowed as he tried to catch at least some sight of him
  336. ".....Did he escape?"
  337.
  338. Of course, the boy's attention would have immedieately darted to the injured Kiastara not so far away from him. Running up to her, he would try his best to check on her condition
  339. "Hey? K-Kia? Are you alright? P-please tell me you're...that you're okay.."
  340. (Lumin Montclaire)
  341. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  342.
  343. [20:54] Saewyn may have been slightly distracted given his exhausting encounters with one demon after the next, though the strife which persists between the souls present, he had no choice but to ensure that everyone present was okay. At least, before he turns to see what'd been going on with the straggling souls that aggressed one another.
  344.
  345. Midst the chaos of it all, he shuffles south in an attempt to ensure that there wouldn't be any surprise deaths within Myllenoris's vicinity.
  346.
  347. "Ah..."
  348.
  349. How troublesome.
  350. (Saewyn)
  351. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  352.
  353. [21:00] His entire left arm was found to be grasped in shadows as the long claws was formed. It is not his own hatred, it would be the stain gifted by the creature of the void and another wraith who forced that gem within his palm, it could only grow stronger each blinks of an eye.
  354.
  355. That creature is beyond wraiths. It is the void, it is beyond every other spirits. It is through a moment of despair, when the darkness almost shattered him... When... When a crack was formed on his heart ad the spirit of optimist came to grasp his frame in a light to sustain the balance between light and dark upon his outer world.
  356.
  357. His visage once expressed a pain, it now expressed a desire to keep up. That one is a weight of too much in the balance. It's existence can tear this world apart and as a blackcloak, as a teraphim. He is tasked to die before this kind. Then as the eye opened wide upon the fury of the draconic serpent ravaged in thunder on it's particular frame. He made a step forward with optimism. Yet demios being faster, it was with a last blow that he finished it.
  358.
  359. The mistseer could only silently stare, he already had said what he had to say. He was a weight of tooo much in the balance, it was meant to die.
  360. (Myrin)
  361. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  362.
  363. [21:01] Once more she threw herself into the fury of combat, though she found evading it much more difficult. Perhaps it was her own exhaustion, perhaps it had gotten stronger. Nevertheless Azalea and Myrin's magics helped keep her upright between her charged, a fact she'd thank them for later. And probably buy them drinks if they wanted it.
  364.
  365. The rush of battle only made her more giddy in the moment, each dive becoming more and more dragonlike in nature, her claw swiping at it, leaving trails of cosmic mana between the slashes of her blade.
  366.
  367. In the end, while she wouldn't land the final blow, she was chasing after it, her bloodlust driving her deeper and deeper. Her fury at Anthonio had only grown. He would not get any more passes should she see him again.
  368.
  369. But as it fell, her own bloodlust would be sated. For the moment at least. Such a state was assuredly temporary.
  370.
  371. Waylan being alright did earn a brief relieved smile however.
  372. (Signe Daman)
  373. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  374.
  375. [21:01] The Black Lupin visage was downed by its first form, uncertain as to what had struck him so hard... As the creature transformed he fought alongside ser Demios and Gallen Pax with much more caution. Lending aid with the magic of his Embers. Bolstering the fire magi with incantations and the blessings of his lineage.
  376.
  377. As all of Myllenoris unites to fell the creature he gazes skyward as Demios plunges like a falling star straight into the last remaining eye of the beast. Like a blazing star earthbound the drakanite impacts dealing the finishing blow.
  378.
  379. Embers scatter and fires fade as the creature plummets to the ground fizzling, melting away as lava and molten earth renders it to vapors and ash.
  380.
  381. "Pray... Tis finished?" Atilus manages to utter before falling unconscious once more. Vision fades from his eyes as the world around him goes dark.
  382.
  383. (Atilus Rosier)
  384. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  385.
  386. [21:01] Just as before, but, perhaps with more... desperation at times. The chaos which unfolds before her eventually began to become clearer - enough so for her to perceive those who were verging upon collapse more so than others.
  387.
  388. Out of those she could cover with her primary downpour of safety, Myrin and Signe were the nearest she could provide everything for. Whenever a wave of pale celestial magic befell them - a counteracting force of rejuvenation flows freely.
  389.
  390. The mana dew which amassed from the soils below constantly flows up and throw them in droplets. Others? They, too, received splashes of healing whenever she managed to attain reach as before.
  391.
  392. It was the first true battle Azalea had been apart of. The dichotomy of the opposing forces right here, right now. She finally sees it for what it is.
  393.
  394. A fight for balance. One in which this Teraphim favors the side of life and freedom - as opposed to impending death and being reduced to a plaything for some otherworldly being's entertainment.
  395.
  396. That oasis just continues to extend its reach with the ever-growing focus Azalea provides, simultaneously mending her own wounds to keep going. Whatever the depths of her reserves were right now did not matter, if she fell dry - she would draw more from the land.
  397.
  398. Until the monstrosity found its demise, downsizing heavily into a single eye once more. She could feel the scales tipping back to equilibrium, for now. And, perhaps she managed to save lives in the process.
  399. (Azalea)
  400. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  401.
  402. [21:01] Ragen felt quite proud that he was able to support in someway against that massive entity. Although his input was very little compared to the others, his ability to muster up the courage to fight surprised even him. He doesn't seem to care much about the commotion as it goes on, his sense of self accomplishment overwhelming him. It's one for the history books.
  403.
  404. His levitation wore off as he approaches the benches, just on time. Besides some superficial injuries, he seemed totally fine.
  405.
  406. "I want to do that again..." He says to himself, unintentionally ignoring the horrors that just happened, with Magi and civilians strewn across the town, moaning in pain.
  407. (Ragen)
  408. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  409.
  410. [21:03] {NARRATION} And with Demios's final attack, what's left of the entity is dissolved. No trace of the creature is left behind, aside from the damage it had done to the square. The voidborn beast is erased from Myllenoris.
  411.
  412. The Void itself, however? The skies remain twisted, covered in those purple eyes above. They all - collectively, as one unit - begin rumbling, as if they're about to send down another strike -
  413.
  414.
  415. "You have done excellently. This is the most amusing crowd we have seen in centuries."
  416.
  417.
  418. All rumbling ceases, and the world blinks once again. Another pause, always as painful as the last - but the feeling of dread does not seem to return alongside it...?
  419.
  420.
  421. "Please examine your belongings. In the case of a chosen few of you, please examine yourselves. You will find that you have become a more suitable vessel, something easier for us to watch."
  422.
  423.
  424. Those chosen few are... Atilus, Kiastara, and Terhune.
  425.
  426. Terhune, the scrappy looking child, has been processed. Heavy, deep scratches twist across the surface of his skin, glowing a pale foggy green. They don't actually hurt, mind.
  427.
  428. The paranoia that accompanies them might, however.
  429.
  430. Kiastara. The Teraphim, too, has been processed. A corrupt cosmic burn covers her hands, twitching painfully. No, twitch might be the wrong word. It's more accurate to say that the flesh blinks.
  431.
  432. And finally, Atilus. His face contorts for the slightest moment, making way for a new growth. A bright green eye has arrived to his forehead, moving without his own force or will, watching whatever it wishes.
  433.
  434. He has been turned into a spectator for the Void.
  435.
  436. What, then, of the Marble? It fuses back together into a new shape, rather than a perfect sphere. It bares significant resemblance to a Chiron... only of the Void's usual colors, haunting pale celadon.
  437.
  438. And now it's time to /roll 1 100 for me as I disperse all the rewards. Please hold if you have been gifted a Mutation. I'll handle those in a hot second.
  439.
  440.
  441. [21:11] Ragen exclaims, "Yeah!"
  442. [21:11] Ragen says, "<Don't mind the massive magical craters and...>"
  443. [21:12] Vaati says, "Huh.."
  444. [21:12] ??? says, "you gotta wait this out."
  445. [21:13] Ragen says, "Oh shit it talked"
  446. [21:17] ** ??? has inflicted an injury upon Terhune. ("Void's Scratches - UNHEALABLE", "The Void has processed Terhune. His skin is marred by glowing green gashes, all throughout. They don't bleed, and don't seem to actually hurt... but they do inspire an uncomfortable, crushing paranoia. Sorry, kid.", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  447. [21:17] Sherrie would whisper to Ragen,
  448.
  449. "Are we gonna eat it?"
  450. (Sherrie Mckenna)
  451. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  452.
  453. [21:18] Ragen looks a bit digusted with the thought of eating eyeballs.
  454. (Ragen)
  455. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  456.
  457. [21:18] Ragen exclaims, "You should keep some thoughts to yourself!"
  458. [21:18] Sherrie Mckenna exclaims, "I didn't want to eat it!"
  459. [21:19] Atilus Rosier says, "We should form a queue"
  460. [21:24] Many a wise man had oft claimed it were better to arrive late than never -
  461.
  462. In this, they were assuredly wrong, for the calamitous, transcendental entity that spews forth grand pangs of energy to wreak havoc upon Myllenoris stills her in her attacks, jaw threatening to hit the ground if only she hadn't composed herself quickly enough.
  463.
  464. How many Knights had it taken to restrain this creature? Why had none fetched her?
  465.
  466. It mattered not -
  467.
  468. Early, late, her duty commands her forth, a maelstrom of temporal energy that beckons the Queen onwards, a trail of energy obscured by phantasmal afterimages. Speed and an innate command of the timestream eases her beyond, into the flurry of description and calamity, Dimension Splitter set down upon its humongous frame with reckless abandon.
  469.
  470. It is the combined might of the alliance - of the Nysean and Myllenoris people - that bests eldritch abomination, swathing its bulbous, putrid frame with potent, ceaseless Magicka.
  471.
  472. Its execution - the glory of almighty obliteration - tempts her not. There's an eye to their surroundings - to the battered Anastasia and the fleeing Anthonio, and a tongue set to whip against her gums harshly.
  473.
  474. Just like his Father. Cowardly and treacherous.
  475.
  476. "Is anybody injured?" she hollers curtly, with a fleeting inspection of all who fought amid the chaos. "If you're injured, call out; if you are a trained healer, rush to their aid. Check upon your allies. Ensure everyone is accounted for."
  477. (Aeliana rei Petrakis)
  478. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  479.
  480. [21:32] Twilly whispers something.
  481. [21:33] Atilus Rosier says, "DM Pax didn't get his reward"
  482. [21:35] {NARRATION} The true prize, however - was the transformed Marble that rested atop the temple. Far above, the sky cracks open, as if a hurricane was just beginning to subside... the eyes fold away, disappearing as they reach the edge of the horizon.
  483.
  484. And one of them, you could swear it, winks directly at Mikhail. Suddenly, his pockets felt just a little bit more full.
  485.
  486. That cursed Shard had found its way there, somehow.
  487. [21:36] {Item} You picked up Arcanium..
  488. [21:38] Ragen says, "Ah, I'm going to see the boss, Sherrie."
  489. [21:38] Ragen asks, "Want to tag along?"
  490. [21:38] Sherrie Mckenna says, "Uhm... sure."
  491. [21:39] Ragen exclaims, "Good work everyone!"
  492. [21:42] Terhune stood at the edge of the group of magi. These warrior of Myllenoris who stood before the great Beholder of the worlds suffering. His breathing ragged as the pain from the cosmic rays littered his body. Something about it reminded him of the great moon he'd gazed upon not so long ago. It felt like the great spheres knew something that he didn't.
  493.
  494. The boy's hand came down to grip his stomach, he could feel his lunch welling up as the sickness of the moment struck him. Turning to the side as there was a lull in battle the boy lost the soup he'd eaten earlier. With it went a mountain of stress and panic. The gravity of the situation and the pain in his body.
  495.
  496. Looking around with wide panicked eyes he saw those nearby. Slightly twisted in their visage by the great tears welling up in his eyes. Between the watery distortions he saw the colors of humanity. Some stood filled with bravery and courage. Others fought out of rage and hatred. Very few seemed to fight as he did, out of a desperate fear to not die.
  497.
  498. He felt at odds in the crowd as if he wasn't fit to stand with the others. His gaze shifted towards the outsides of the plaza they stood but even then the sight of cosmic fire blocking those routes of retreat filled him with dread.
  499.
  500. No choice.
  501.
  502. He gripped the handle of his blade Thunder, holding the six feet of Mythril high into the air as he prepared to face the Beholder once more. The sounds of distant thunder rumbled around him and his screams of terror radiated from him in great waves of dissonant, chaotic, ear splitting noise.
  503.
  504. Then he charged but it was not so far to go for him. He'd went a few feet before one of those great eyes looked upon him. Witnessing his act of desperate courage and in that moment. A crackling beam of green light seemed to encircle him. Bolts of raw green lightening seemed to twist and curl over his frame. Scouring great gashes within the flesh and twisting.
  505.
  506. For a few seconds he floated in the air, a glowing green beacon to those in sight. The screaming of fear turned to shrieks of raw undiluted terror. When the light blinked away his frame fell upon the ground heavily, bouncing onece before laying still. From his loose clothing glowing green arcs could easily be see no his flesh.
  507.
  508. For a long time he lay there, it was only as he came to did he feel a crushing weight of being watched come over him. Leaping up he looked around quickly, where was it? What'd happened to the eyes? His softly glowing amber hues darted to and fro searching for his blade.
  509.
  510. Darting downwards his gaze looked around at those present. Looking towards the others and wondering who was the one staring at him. Who was the one mocking him for his fear. Thick fat tears continued to roll down his cheeks in great globs.
  511.
  512. In that moment the child bolted, possible unnoticed by anyone present even! Though, what would become of the young magi who'd been marked by the void if he got away into the wilds?
  513. (Terhune)
  514. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  515.
  516. [21:47] The day was pervaded by corruption from its rousing to its folding. To label the taste that pervaded his taste as tart and acetous would be a harsh understatement, and even at the termination of the void's herald, a last snippet of profanity wormed its way into Mikhail's chattels.
  517.
  518. The kitsune's head throbbed with a gnawing ache, and every one of his senses had been dulled his customary panache to a sluggish, stagnant bearing - every word he spoke made ample room for a heaved retch to hurl the tenors of his guts through, as the organism of his undivided self was adulterated into an off-track peer of its former self.
  519.
  520. The fraction of ungodly malice given form that steals into him only charges this sensation even further. Everything around him is a novelty of peril, and he seems ready to topple, reel and faint at any moment.
  521.
  522. His eyes, wide and bloodshot, turn to Rafalle, and his both hands grip at the cloth of her vest's shoulders - he seeks respite, and a soothe from the hellish trance Anthonio's maneuver had ignited.
  523.
  524. "I feel sick. I feel - horribly sick. We need t-" And his words trail off, cutting into a waning nil.
  525.
  526. The young man felt his essence unravel, unthread and unwound into a million minute shards of ethos, even if his body did not make this wretched sensation evident.
  527. (Mikhail)
  528. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  529.
  530. [21:50] Ilya was too busy trying to get the flames off her dress to talk right now.
  531. (Ilya)
  532. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
