  7. You pick up 10 corpses of a deepstone rockeater.
  8. There are no more corpses of a deepstone rockeater.
  9.
  10. You pick up 10 corpses of a fierce and enormous roc.

  15.
  16. You pick up 10 corpses of a fearsome tiger shark.
  17. There are no more corpses of a fearsome tiger shark.
  18.
  19. You tilt your head curiously at Uzriel.
  20.
  21. Sickly skeins of oilslick colour bleed from the air, coalescing into the form of Morgfyre, the Legion.
  22.
  23. Uzriel bows respectfully to Morgfyre.
  24.
  25. Hinting at twisted delights, a wicked voice says, "Well met, Uzriel."
  26.
  27. Sibilant whispers in a thousand disparate tones filter through the air as Rolsand floats in from the south.
  28.
  29. In blind panic, a terrified voice says, "We confess Ourselves curious as to the effects of Our brother's...experimentations, and wish to observe."
  30.
  31. Morgfyre's eyes twinkle enchantingly.
  32.
  33. You have emoted: Lief hesitates, corpses carried in her arms. After a glance at Uzriel, she quickly dips her antlered head respectfully toward Morgfyre as well.
  34.
  35. You whisper to Uzriel, "I shall not interrupt."
  36.
  37. The air crackles with forks of black lightning, and an ominous voice says, "Pray remain."
  38.
  39. Voice muffled by his mask, Geochemist Uzriel says, "Lord Morgfyre. Nothing can halt the progress of Science! I am sure it will be interesting."
  40.
  41. A throaty and seductive voice luxuriantly says, "Surely, the more witnesses, the more accurate the measurement of progress, no?"
  42. ^Lief begins internally sobbing
  43.
  44. Morgfyre tilts His head curiously.
  45.
  46. A single pinpoint of azure fire manifests itself before you, extinguishing all heat from your surroundings. The flame grows in a soundless explosion, sending searing lancelets of cold flame throughout the area as Raezon, the Forbidden steps forth from the inferno.
  47.
  48. Uzriel bows down low towards Raezon.
  49.
  50. An ivory-furred pompom puppy with a fanned tail plops down on her hindquarters with a soft snort, ears twitching curiously as she watches her surroundings.
  51.
  52. The ground convulses as a mound of rich, liquid gold rises high. The scent of musk wafts upon the air while the liquid recedes to reveal the immaculate form of Drocilla, the Enchantress.
  53.
  54. Her voice a lilting melody, Drocilla, the Enchantress says, "Did someone say We are experimenting on mortals?"
  55.
  56. Morgfyre's eyes sparkle with amusement.
  57.
  58. Flighty and timid, an apprehensive child's voice says, "Indeed."
  59.
  60. Raezon, the Forbidden says, "Indeed."
  61.
  62. Uzriel bows low to Drocilla in turn.
  63.
  64. Raezon, the Forbidden says to Drocilla, "Uzriel here has volunteered."
  65.
  66. You have emoted: All but frozen where she hovers, Lief quickly bows her antlered head low toward Raezon and Drocilla as well, eyes sliding sidelong to study Uzriel bemusedly.
  67.
  68. Drocilla rests Her elbow on Morgfyre's shoulder and leans Her cheek into the hand, mildly interested.
  69.
  70. Raezon smiles at those gathered, producing from His robes a single shrivelled fruit which He places in front of Uzriel, allowing it to hover in midair.
  71.
  72. Raezon drops a raisin.
  73.
  74. You suddenly scoop up a raisin.
  75.
  76. Uzriel looks up into the air for divine inspiration.
  77.
  78. You glance askance.
  79.
  80. You drop a raisin.
  81.
  82. You rub a clover-etched turquoise ring and it begins to glow with a pulsating light.
  83. You allow the charm of Acquisitio to leave you and are no longer gripped by an unnatural need to accumulate things.
  84.
  85. Following her gaze, Lydia Windwhisper wanders distractedly to the northwest, wings aflutter.
  86.
  87. Uzriel ponders a raisin thoughtfully, looking it up and down.
  88.
  89. Drocilla's lavender gaze follows the raisin without breaking, from the ground, to your hands, and down to the ground again.
  90.
  91. You have emoted: Lief looks longingly after Lydia Windwhisper.
  92.
  93. Voice muffled by his mask, Geochemist Uzriel says, "Lord Flame, I take it the experiment involves eating said raisin?"
  94.
  95. Raezon, the Forbidden says, "Indeed. It is not a normal raisin, mind. It is imbued with... certain energies."
  96.
  97. The form of Legion seethes with chromatic whorls of colour, small wisps drifting away to evaporate with a hiss.
  98.
  99. Raezon, the Forbidden says, "You should not need Me to tell you this. It should be quite apparent from its appearance."
  100.
  101. Drocilla, the Enchantress says to Morgfyre, "I'm betting on it turning his skin inside out."
  102.
  103. Uzriel picks up a raisin and inspects it carefully, even lifting his mask up as he holds it to his eye, then he gives a light shrug, clenches a fist as though preparing for something extraordinarily painful and pops it into his mouth.
  104.
  105. You stare implacably at Uzriel.
  106.
  107. In blind panic, a terrified voice says, "Incineration, for Our pondering."
  108.
  109. -l drocilla
  110. She is a radiant immortal and is breathtaking to behold, radiating a painfully sublime and gentle beauty that inexplicably drains the vibrancy and colour from all else in the room. Shimmering with an eerie effulgence, Her almond-shaped eyes are a cruel, sharp lavender; sculpted with grey and violent shadows, they draw the onlooker with their mystical allure. Her tawny skin is creamy and flawless - the visage of utter beauty, elegance and perfection - and Her high cheekbones are touched by the gentle shade of a rose. The glossy scarlet red of Her lips stands out against these soft hues with a generous fullness that makes them deliriously tempting. Every subtle movement of Her perfectly poised figure exudes a raw confidence that dominates Her surroundings, Her superlatively shaped jawline held with regal posture. Intoxicating and addictive, an entrancing scent drifts in Her wake like a cloak of perfumed silk.
  111.
  112. Her silken hair, a hundred shades of burnished gold, is pinned like a crown of molten gold atop a visage of utter perfection. The thick, detailed braids wrap about the head with nary a disobedient wisp in a polished updo that wreathes Her face in a smouldering halo.
  113. She is wearing:
  114. a set of armour rings of blackened silver over the knuckles of Her right hand;
  115. a twinkling sapphire cuff bracelet clinging to Her left wrist;
  116. a bewitching gown of lambent gold beading and coruscating darkness.
  117.
  118. -l raezon
  119. From the cold azure aura that casts a sickly tinge upon Raezon's fair skin, to His towering stature, there can be no doubt that He is a radiant immortal. Studying the world from atop an aquiline nose and a mouth that is little more than a severe slash, His stark cerulean eyes betray no emotion in their incessant stare. Handsome, gaunt features are highlighted by the wavy, medium-length hair that has been combed back upon His head, not a single strand out of place. His limbs are slender, barely any extra mass to Him beyond what would be considered necessary to function. Upon His hands and arms are tattooed various diagrams and indecipherable writings, all of which shift about constantly and fade in and out of existence. Around His form hangs the scent of newly charged air after a lightning strike.
  120.
  121. He is wearing:
  122. brocade robes with a dancing pattern
  123. a haloed crown of azure flame
  124. a gold overcoat stained with arcane minutiae.
  125.
  126. -l morgfyre
  127. He is a radiant immortal and is the sublime vision of a man flowing with currents of power, whose idyllic body is the spectacular dance of the cosmos and planispheres, as ancient as eternity itself and as capricious and resplendent as the rhythm of creation. A maelstrom of fiery, burning hair cascades around His broad shoulders, and His vivid eyes are as brilliant as the stars and as fathomless as the abyss, bespeaking unimaginable and untold wisdom as they swim with prismatic colours consuming each other in endless spirals. When He speaks, each remark comes in a distinctly different voice - as though a committee were trapped within.
  128.
  129. He is wearing:
  130. constantly flowing robes of shifting colours wrought from the twisting, chaotic nether
  131. a living Ouroboros ring
  132. a crown of stygian fire which hangs over His head.
  133.
  134. Raezon, the Forbidden says, "It is voidstuffs, so I would say disintegration."
  135.
  136. Uzriel sways drunkenly and falls to the ground in an undignified heap.
  137. Uzriel stands up and stretches his arms out wide.
  138.
  139. Uzriel raises Nil's Opalescent Brazier of Amazing Ascension high in the air, a beam of light falling on him.
  140.
  141. Ponderously, Drocilla, the Enchantress says, "What if it disintegrates selectively, only his elbows?"
  142.
  143. You tell Geochemist Uzriel, "I am never helping you prepare for the trials of Tosha again."
  144.
  145. An unnerving, pervasive voice says, "Clearly proximity to the raisin is already affecting him adversely."
  146.
  147. Tilting His head,, Raezon, the Forbidden says, "Then he would be quite unlucky. Or perhaps lucky."
  148.
  149. Stern and solemn, a man's voice says, "Quite fascinating."
  150.
  151. Uzriel brushes his hand drunkenly over the brazier, then straightens himself out and looks down to make sure he still has all his limbs intact.
  152.
  153. Idly, Drocilla, the Enchantress says, "Must not be bitter then."
  154.
  155. Voice muffled by his mask, Geochemist Uzriel says, "Lord Flame, I may have cheated slightly at the amusement of Your experiment I am afraid."
  156.
  157. Raezon, the Forbidden says, "Ah, how so?"
  158.
  159. Voice muffled by his mask, Geochemist Uzriel says, "It made me quite drunk, but my brazier was able to cure it before the effects had me rolling down the mountain."
  160.
  161. You feel your tolerance to alcohol increasing.
  162. ^uh oh

  179.
  180. You sway back and forth.
  181.
  182. Laden with a thick accent, a foreign voice brashly says, "Surely that was not the intended effect."
  183.
  184. [More drunkenness why oh why]
  185.
  186. You raise Lady Tejas's Holy Brazier of Momentous Feats, lifting it high in to the air as its burning light fills your body, a blaze spreading through your veins as you find yourself more focused.
  187.
  188. Voice muffled by his mask, Geochemist Uzriel says, "None that I noticed Lord."
  189.
  190. A strangled, dead voice wetly says, "Brother, had you desired to inebriate him, We could certainly recommend much simpler methods."
  191.
  192. Drocilla, the Enchantress says, "Looks like the effect is contagious."
  193.
  194. A wry smile spreads across Morgfyre's face.
  195.
  196. You glance askance at Uzriel.

  200. Uzriel glances askance.
  201.
  202. Raezon, the Forbidden says, "I see. That one was from the upper vines. Perhaps one from the lower vines instead. A moment please."
  203.
  204. Azure flame envelops the form of Raezon as all heat retreats from the surrounding area. The flame melts downward in a frozen instant that feels like an eternity, and with it the form of Raezon disappears into nothingness.

  206. [More drunkenness.]

  215. [We are still drunk, Uzriel worst of all despite cheating.]
  216.
  217. A bashful, embarrassed voice says, "How incredibly...odd."
  218.
  219. A single pinpoint of azure fire manifests itself before you, extinguishing all heat from your surroundings. The flame grows in a soundless explosion, sending searing lancelets of cold flame throughout the area as Raezon, the Forbidden steps forth from the inferno.

  224.
  225. Raezon gives a raisin to Geochemist Uzriel.

  257.
  258. [He is So. Drunk.]
  259.
  260. Uzriel has been slain by reality's inner workings.
  261. Having been too much for the mortal threads of Uzriel, he screams in agony as flames engulf his body and burn it to a crisp.
