06[00:06] * Paisley yawns softly and crawls out of bed. A few moments later she comes out of her room clothed and ready for the day! Let's start with breakfast.
06[00:06] * Vivit yawns as the sunlight hits her face from a crack between the curtains. She rolls over a bit, intent on sleeping a few more minutes...when she realizes she's not home.
01[00:07] <Vivit> Oh shoot! That's right!
06[00:07] * Vivit quickly jumps out of bed and gets dressed.
06[00:08] * Paisley wanders about until she reaches the kitchen, where she feels she's quite ready to cook everybody a good breakfast! "Wait'll they get a look at mah cookin' skills! Ah've never done it before but that'll just make everyone more impressed!"
06[00:09] * Hazuki is already awake and doing his morning exercises. Without his shirt.
06[00:09] * Miyuki lays in bed... still quite asleep!
06[00:10] * Vivit takes a quick look at the clock, her cheongsam ribbon in her mouth as she puts her hair into small buns on her head. Leaving a few strands free behind.
01[00:10] <Vivit> Ah...it's not that late...
06[00:10] * Oranges yawns and slowly gets up for bed...she needs coffee
06[00:11] * Paisley gets a pan onto the stove. This is a good start for a long chain of events that will surely lead to a delicious breakfast!
06[00:12] * Vivit quietly closes the door behind her so she doesn't wake up any of the others...which is a questionnable choice. She decides to go see if Daichi was awake...
06[00:12] * Hazuki finishes morning exercises and changes back into his butler suit.
06[00:13] * Vivit knocks on Daichi's door slowly.
06[00:13] * Daichi rolls over in his sleep, hugging his pillow
06[00:13] * Paisley gets a carton of eggs, a loaf of bread, some butter, a garter snake...
06[00:14] * Vivit opens the door a tiny bit to peak in on Daichi and notices that her soft knocks were not enough to wake him.
06[00:15] * Miyuki finally sits up in bed, streetching luxuriously... she slips out of bed, rubbing the sleep from her eyes, and going about her morning rituals... starting with heading into the shower
06[00:15] * Oranges gets dressed and starts towards the kitchen
06[00:16] * Vivit shakes her head a bit and closes the door. She doesn't feel brave enough to try and wake him up physically...maybe another one of the maids could take care of it?
06[00:18] * Paisley manages to light the stove alright, and then places the snake carcass ontop of the pan. She then breaks all of the eggs over it, quite a few eggshells falling into the mix. "Oh, shoot! Ah forgot butter!" Paisley shrugs, tipping the stick of butter ontop of the ingreidents. What did it matter? A chef of her caliber is allowed to break out of the bounds of the norm!
06[00:18] * Oranges enters the kitchen and eyes the ingredients, she sighs and walks out
06[00:20] * Vivit decides to head downstairs to check up on breakfast for now, planning to take her shower a bit afterwards.

[00:20] <Paisley> "Mmm?"
[00:20] <Hazuki> Interesting breakfast.
06[00:20] * Paisley turns around to the door of the kitchen, she coulda sworn she heard a... Oh no, that's not a good smell!
06[00:21] * Oranges wonders if she should get the master, he doesn't seem like he's up yet...
06[00:21] * Paisley is concerned with how blackened the everything looks.
06[00:22] * Vivit walks into the kitchen a witnesses something she really wished she hadn't.
[00:22] <Paisley> "Fliiiiip!~"
06[00:22] * Miyuki steps out of the shower, sitting down to brush her hair after drying off... long story short, a few minutes later, she steps out of her room, in uniform... wandering past the Master's room, giving a sidelong glance at the door, wondering if she really wants to speak with him for even the time it would take to wake him...
06[00:23] * Paisley cries out in dismay as half of it slides out and onto the dusty countertop, but it's okay- she made sure to tip all of it back onto the pan. There will be no wasting food!
01[00:24] <Vivit> Umm...Paisley...
06[00:24] * Paisley remembers the toast and decides to put it into a toaster. That's too easy to mess up!
[00:24] <Paisley> "Oh, Vivit! When did ya get here?"
01[00:25] <Vivit> Just a minute ago...umm, what exactly are you doing?
[00:25] <Paisley> "Cookin' breakfast~"
01[00:26] <Vivit> ...of...of course you are...how silly of me.
06[00:26] * Vivit starts crying internally again and decides to leave this scene be, she walks out for now.
[00:26] <Paisley> "Okay, seeya Miss Vivit!"
[00:27] <Hazuki> ...
[00:27] <Hazuki> Huh.
06[00:27] * Paisley waves politely as the pan behind her emits a foul looking black smoke.
06[00:28] * Vivit didn't even notice Hazuki there, her full attention set on the current disaster brewing...she simply decides to go take her show now. Wondering if she'll get to eat this morning...
06[00:28] * Paisley pops a couple slices of loaf into the toaster. Easy!
[00:30] <Hazuki> ...
06[00:30] * Oranges makes her way to the master's room "I could already smell 'breakfast' almost done, I should wake him"
06[00:31] * Miyuki walks down the hall, deciding against trying to wake him... passing Oranges on the way, just giving a slight nod at first... untill she realises it's a new face! She stops, turning to look at the other maid as she walks "... Huh."
06[00:35] * Oranges tries to wake the master by calling him..all she hears is a faint snore..maybe it's for the best that she doesn't wake him in time for 'breakfast'
06[00:36] * Paisley hums peacefully, her breakfast looks so unique it must be /delicious/.
06[00:36] * Vivit walks into her room to grab a new change of clothes then heads for the shower room, she doesn't pay any attention to either Miyuki or Orange...her mind still preoccupied by what Paisley is concocting, she looks very troubled.
06[00:37] * Hazuki decides to head to the master's room.
[00:37] <Hazuki> Knock knock.
06[00:37] * Miyuki walks back to check out the new maid, seeing she's still outside the door to the masters room... "Hey there... I haven't seen you around before."
[00:38] <Hazuki> Hm.
[00:39] <Miyuki> Ah...? Oh... here, Hazuki... let me...
06[00:39] * Paisley finally finishes buttering the toast and grins, looking at her masterpiece after it has been so carefully arranged to fit an equal share for every person in the mansion.
06[00:39] * Oranges notices the other maid. "oh hey, sorry I forgot to introduce myself"
06[00:40] * Miyuki gives the door a few hard whacks! ... of course, she winds up hitting the frame for some reason, sending very little sound though it.

[00:41] <Hazuki> Hm.
[00:41] <Oranges> uh..hitting the frame isn't going to wake him..
[00:41] <Miyuki> ....
06[00:41] * Miyuki waves a hand dismissively. "Bah. He can just stay asleep then, I'm not hurting my hand on that door again for him right now..."

06[00:41] * Vivit takes a quick shower, fixes up her hair and puts on her chinese dress which conveniently acts as a maid outfit as well.
06[00:41] * Hazuki bows out and heads to the living room.
[00:42] <Miyuki> Anyways...
06[00:42] * Paisley looks about. Geez, where is everyone! Her delicious food is going to get cold if they don't hurry!
06[00:42] * Miyuki turns to Oranges, smiling and bowing politely. "I'm Miyuki.
06[00:42] * Oranges smiles back and bows. "I'm Oranges"
[00:45] <Miyuki> Nice to meet you!
06[00:45] * Paisley brings a plate and a fork and napkin up to Daichi's room. If nobody's going to come to it, she'll make it come to them! She notes Miyuki and Orange still standing outside Daichi's door. "Ahh, hey there ya are! Yer gonna miss breakfast if ya don't hurry!" The little girl pouts a bit.

[00:46] <Miyuki> Oh... breakfast is ready?
[00:46] <Oranges> damn..
06[00:46] * Miyuki looks to the plate Paisley's carrying... and feels her heart sink just a little bit. She doesn't show it, though!
06[00:46] * Vivit walks into the scene, drying her hair a bit more.
[00:46] <Miyuki> Oh... that... that looks... is that breakfast?
06[00:46] * Oranges contemplates on how to escape

[00:46] <Paisley> "Yup! Be sure to grab your plate 'fore it's cold!"

06[00:47] * Paisley beams and tries to walk past the other maids as politely as she can so that she could knock firmly on Daichi's door.
[00:47] <Miyuki> Oh... thank you, Paisley! It looks great! I'll go and get some right now!
06[00:48] * Vivit leaves without another word, wondering if they'll have the day off if Daichi passes out...she follows Miyuki for now.
06[00:48] * Daichi stirs in his sleep, finally waking up "Hmm? Whoo's there?"
06[00:48] * Miyuki turns to head for the kitchen... motioning urgently for Oranges and Vivit to follow, getting away from that soon-to-be disaster scene
06[00:48] * Oranges follows miyuki and vivit for now
[00:49] <Paisley> "It's Paisley with breakfast!"
06[00:49] * Paisley opens the door to the room and steps inside, somehow she manages to keep it just high enough for Daichi not to see the contents on the plate.
06[00:49] * Miyuki comments once she's out of earshot of Paisley "I don't know about you two but I'm gonna have a bowl of frosted flakes...
06[00:50] * Hazuki is helping with the door.

06[00:50] * Daichi sits up. Paisley made breakfast? Hopefully she meant that Hazuki made it and she 'helped' "Well, thank you Paisley."
06[00:50] * Vivit nods sadly to Miyuki, "I know she did her best...but...I'm sorry Paisley." she states, feeling a bit guilty for doing this. She grabs a bowl and prepares to eat quickly before Paisley could return.
06[00:50] * Oranges does the same and grabs a bowl too
[00:51] <Paisley> "Uh-huh! It was so easy, too! Maybe ah could do it everyone mornin'~" Finally she makes it to Daichi's bed and places the food gently on an endtable closeby, along with the fork and napkin.
06[00:51] * Miyuki gets herself a bowl of cereal! "So Oranges... when did you get here? You weren't on the jet with the rest of us.
01[00:52] <Vivit> Huh?
06[00:52] * Vivit finally notices Oranges, a question mark pops over her head as she tries to recall her ever being there before...
06[00:52] * Daichi looks at the charred mess while trying not to betray a look of digust to Paisley. "What...What is it, exactly?"
[00:53] <Paisley> "Umm. Eggs! Eggs an' snake!"
06[00:53] * Oranges pours some cereal in her bowl as she explains.."Well I was on this boat because of debt and ended up here"
[00:53] <Miyuki> I see.
06[00:54] * Vivit quickly finishes her cereal and grabs another bowl, this time of Paisley's food and covers it in saram wrap for later...Airi can eat anything except sweets despite being a good cook...so she should be okay with this.
06[00:54] * Oranges looks at Vivit for a second, pauses and bows her head a little. "I'm Oranges, nice to meet you"
06[00:55] * Hazuki decides to warp to the kitchen and makes some food for himself.
[00:55] <Hazuki> ...and maybe a little extra for his master.
06[00:55] * Vivit quickly looks back to Oranges as she fixes up all the evidence. "Ah, nice to meet you too Oranges! I'm Vivit!"
[00:55] <Paisley> "Oh, and there's toast." Thankfully the toast looks perfectly edible.
[00:55] <Miyuki> Ah... hey Hazuki... pull up a bowl. Fresh up on the menu... Frosted Flakes, ala milk.
06[00:55] * Daichi looks about awkwardly, "I'm...Allergic to snakes. T-Thank you though. I'll have some toast."
[00:55] <Hazuki> No thanks.
[00:56] <Hazuki> I'm just making my own breakfast.
[00:56] <Paisley> "Oh, no! Sorry! Ah'm so sorry! Ah didn't..." She quickly grabs the plate, but leaves the toast on the napkin and bows hurriedly as she walks out of the room before Daichi can say anything else.
06[00:57] * Oranges finishes her cereal and starts cleaning the bowl before that girl who cooked breakfast comes back
06[00:57] * Vivit protests to Hazuki "But you'll break Paisley's heart!"
[00:57] <Hazuki> I'm make breakfast for myself.

06[00:58] * Hazuki is making a hand motion to indicate he really means 'For the Master'.
06[00:58] * Daichi munches on the toast, settling into his chair and getting up...It probably would have tasted bad, but maybe he should have tried it for her sake...Getting dressed he wheeled himself to the kitchen, hearing most everyone's voices from there

06[00:58] * Vivit nods as she understands what Hazuki is saying but also nods to Miyuki's comment.

[00:59] <Daichi> "Good morning, Hazuki."
06[00:59] * Oranges nods also, finishing cleaning the cereal bowls

06[00:59] * Paisley walks back to the kitchen, a little distraught. She manages to see everybody eating cereal. "W-who else is allergic ta snake? Ah'm sorry, don't eat it!"

[00:59] <Hazuki> If you desire brunch at any time, it will be in the fridge.
[00:59] <Daichi> "I trust everyone would like to go to the beach before we leave today?"
06[00:59] * Vivit turns around and bows to her master, she hears Paisley walk in...

06[01:00] * Oranges bows to her master too. "Good morning master, I'm a new addition"
06[01:00] * Miyuki hears Paisley coming back, looking to her bowl quickly and panicing... she decides the best way is to throw the bowl at the sink... unfortunately, she overshoots the sink, sending the bowl straight through the window sitting above it instead. At least the bowl is gone though...

[01:01] <Miyuki> .... um... those... birds! Those damn birds, always flying into windows!
[01:01] <Paisley> "D-don't eat the breakfast! It's got snake in it! If yer allergic, don't eat it!"
06[01:01] * Vivit quickly conceals the plate of food in her maid ribbon.
06[01:01] * Daichi nods to Oranges, not bothering to ask how she got here. "Good day. I hope you'll get along with the others."
06[01:02] * Miyuki stands up! "Ah... what are you talking about Paisley? It was delicious! Ehehe!" She rubs the back of her head quite nervously.
06[01:02] * Vivit doesn't want to lie to Paisley, so she simply says "It could use some work...but I'm sure Airi would have loved it!"
[01:02] <Paisley> "Ohh... So... Yer not allergic to snake?"
[01:02] <Miyuki> Of course not!
06[01:03] * Paisley smiles happily. "Hooray! Ah'll make it better next time then!"
06[01:03] * Oranges turns around quickly as well "yeah, it was pretty filling"
06[01:04] * Vivit nods and quickly runs back to her room to conceal the food she had not eaten before running back.
06[01:04] * Miyuki notices Daichi has entered... and gives him a polite bow. "Good morning, master."
[01:04] <Daichi> "Good morning, Miyuki...If everyone's ready- shall we head to the beach?"
[01:04] <Hazuki> INdeed.
06[01:05] * Miyuki tries to restrain her excitement about going to the beach... but fails somewhat "Oh... I'll go get my swimsuit on!"
06[01:05] * Miyuki hurries to her room!
[01:05] <Paisley> "Hooray!"
06[01:05] * Paisley jumps in joy and makes her way to her room to change too.
06[01:05] * Vivit groans as she realizes she has to head to her room...AGAIN, this time to get changed. She heads back as well.

06[01:08] * Hazuki is still dressed in his butler outfit.

06[01:09] * Vivit swiftly...but tiredly, changes into her maid swimsuit. She looks at herself in the mirror, a bit dissapointed by the results, she sighs and heads back down to the kitchen.

06[01:10] * Miyuki looks at herself in the mirror as well... wishing her bust was just a little more impressive... but heading back nontheless, a smile on her face, quite happy to finally get a chance for some real relaxation
06[01:11] * Oranges slowly gets changed and nearly walks out when she double takes and picks up her cigarette carton. She takes another pause and looks in the mirror, then leaves.
06[01:12] * Daichi starts to wheel outside, along the sandy trail to the beach, carrying a bucket to make sandcastles. It's not like he could swim...Hopefully they didn't get attacked by giant sea monsters or something retarded
06[01:14] * Hazuki is holding an umbrella. One of those huge ones.
06[01:15] * Vivit follows along, taking an innertube she found in one of the rooms while she was making the beds yesterday with her.
06[01:15] * Hazuki is also holding: A grill, sunscreen, extra towels, a cooler full of drinks, a beachball, a volleyball net...
06[01:15] * Paisley walks along, running ahead and around and beside and about.
06[01:15] * Miyuki walks along as well... not carrying much with her out of the ordinary, except her spear, maybe she can catch some fish...
06[01:16] * Oranges casually walks behind them with a carton of cigarettes in hand, hoping that she can smoke here

06[01:19] * Miyuki points to a nice clear spot with a little cove. "How about over there?"

06[01:20] * Vivit mutters flatly and walks over to Miyuki's designated spot.

06[01:22] * Oranges casually strolls behind them, wondering if that kind of stuff really happens here

06[01:33] * Miyuki grins. "Oh really, Paisley... and do you think you can DEFEND that claim?
06[01:34] * Oranges admires the beautiful sandcastle from the ocean. She can't believe that this is the same girl who made breakfast.
06[01:34] * Miyuki makes it sound as a friendly challenge!
[01:34] <Paisley> "Throw yer worst! We will never back down!"
06[01:34] * Miyuki stands up, stretching out a little bit, getting down into a running stance "Alright! You ready? Here I come!"
06[01:35] * Paisley waves a stick and hides behind the crenellations.
06[01:35] * Vivit simply watches their antics as she blows up her innertube.
06[01:36] * Miyuki charges Paisley with a mighty battle cry!
06[01:36] * Oranges decides to come back to land to watch this spectacle
06[01:37] * Paisley belts out her own battle cry, though it is almost dominated by Miyuki's!
06[01:37] * Miyuki leaps over the castle, to avoid damaging it in her struggle! Grappling mightily with Paisley, aiming to wrestle the other girl to the sand!
06[01:38] * Paisley gives her best, but some of the sand holding her up collapses and forces her to fall!
06[01:39] * Miyuki laughs triumphantly... reaching down to tickle the poor, defeated girl! "Say uncle!
[01:40] <Paisley> "N-n-nevHAHAha!" Struggles to wriggle free from the other maid's clutches!
[01:41] <Miyuki> SAY IT!
06[01:41] * Miyuki keeps going relentlessly!
06[01:41] * Vivit grabs her cellphone and starts filming.
06[01:42] * Oranges laughs a little while she makes past them trying to get a front row seat
[01:43] <Paisley> "Not on yer life, ye-pahahahaha! Stop, stop! Ah can't- ah can't-" The girl gives a good struggle, but collapses in a fit of giggles.

06[01:43] * Vivit capped the innertube just a few seconds ago so it's nice and filled, for now she's just enjoying the view...with her cellphone ready so she can enjoy it back home too...
06[01:44] * Miyuki jumps off of Paisley and takes up a defensive posture in front of her new castle that she just won
06[01:44] * Paisley gets up on her knees. "Noooo! Curse you, Miyuuukiiii!~"
06[01:46] * Vivit laughs, putting her cellphone aside. "Both of them get along really well wouldn't you say Oranges?"
06[01:47] * Miyuki strikes a most triumphant pose! "Ha ha ha ha ha!

[02:30] <Paisley> "Hahaha! Nothin' bad's gonn-" Paisley suddenly trips over Hazuki's sand mound and spills the pail full of water and sand she'd brought over. Somehow... she looks upset enough to start crying.

06[02:30] * Hazuki walks over to help her up.
01[02:31] <Vivit> Oh no! Paisley!
06[02:31] * Daichi rolls over to Paisley, ignoring hazuki's lame lump of a castle, brushing sand out of Paisley's hair. "P-Paisley, are you ok?"

06[02:31] * Vivit approaches to take a look at Paisley, but leaves Daichi to take care of her.
06[02:32] * Paisley sniffs, her eyes shut because she'd gotten some sand in everywhere.
06[02:33] * Daichi pulls a handkerchief from his backpocket, gingerly wiping away sand "Just keep blinking and you'll be ok."
06[02:35] * Paisley does so and is able to hold her tears back!
06[02:35] * Oranges relaxes somewhat and glances over at Vivit.
06[02:35] * Daichi pats Paisley on the head, "There, you're fine- I'm sure Hazuki didn't mean to trip you with his lame castle."

06[02:36] * Vivit doesn't seem to notice Oranges' glance as she pays attention to Paisley.
06[02:37] * Paisley suddenly runs away from the group and bawws along the way to the mansion.

[02:43] <Daichi> Off in the distance, Miyuki can spot Sayori, waving an oversized net frantically at a low-flying raptor...Heading straight for Paisley!

[02:44] <Paisley> "Ah dun want that stup-"

[02:44] <Daichi> Sayori calls out, "Raptor on the loose! It thinks tears are delicious!"

06[02:45] * Miyuki leaps in front of her, reaching for her spear... but finding she left it on the beach!

06[02:46] * Oranges pulls Paisley out of the way and towards the mansion
[02:46] <Daichi> Sayori manages to pop a shot off on the raptor-- but not before it bites Miyuki's arm clean off! Holy shit!

06[02:47] * Vivit walks alongside Daichi and Hazuki, she sees a commotion near the mansion.

[02:48] <Daichi> Sayori shrieks, picking up Miyuki (with the net) "I-I'm so sorry! Don't worry I'll replace it with a new one!" and with that Sayori runs away
06[02:48] * Daichi rolls over spotting a dismembered arm and a tranquilized raptor. "Well."
06[02:49] * Miyuki waaaaaaaaah's as she's carried away!

[02:50] <Daichi> After fainting from blood loss, Miyuki awaked in a familiar secret lab, overhearing Sayori, "So, I considered maybe giving you like, a raptor arm- Wouldn't that be cool? But we're all out of tissue, so I'm going to go with a robotic arm. Bummer."
06[02:50] * Vivit flails her arms around.

06[02:52] * Miyuki tries to sit up, feeling very groggy
[02:53] <Daichi> Sayori walks over, brushing away Miyuki's hair from her face. "You're kind of cute...What kind of weapons would you like installed in your arm, sweetie?"
06[02:53] * Paisley stares in horror and cries out. "MIYUKIIII!!!~"

[02:53] <Hazuki> I have a bad feeling all of a sudden.
06[02:54] * Daichi continues rolling towards the mansion, "Sayori paged me. She's got Miyuki and is going to take care of her, let's pack up and get out of here before we get attacked by more dinosaurs."

[02:54] <Oranges> Sorry paisley, she sacrificed her arm to save everyone
06[02:54] * Miyuki rubs her face with her remaining arm, trying to clear her head. "I... I dunno...

06[02:55] * Vivit looks over to Oranges and Paisley, who are nearby. "Are you two okay!?" she yells, still panicking.
[02:55] <Daichi> Sayori sits on the table running a finger along Miyuki's leg, "Well sure, lazers, flamethrowers, missiles, pulse blades- whatever you want, dearie."

06[02:55] * Daichi arrives in the mansion and rolls to his room. He didn't want to tell Miyuki "I told you so." BUT HE TOTALLY DID.
06[02:55] * Miyuki shivers just a bit at the finger rubbing her leg... feels kinda nice, but then she's still out of it. In said out of it state, she responds "I've got a spear... but lasers are cool... hnngh...
[02:57] <Daichi> Sayori leans over, kissing Miyuki's cheek to distract her from the needle being inserted into her arm. "Once you wake up you'll be right as rain, and have an arm that can shoot lazers. Not a bad deal."
06[02:57] * Paisley shivers.
06[02:58] * Miyuki doesn't even notice the needle... smiling in a very out-of-it manner. "I wwwwwanna flamethrower too... yaknow wha... just go ahead an' pack tha' thin'..."

[02:59] <Daichi> Sayori laughs and sets to building the robot arm, stuffing it with an ungodly arsenal of weapons- but it would be up to Miyuki to see if she could figure out how to activate each one

[03:01] <Daichi> Miyuki awakes some time later...In a bed!? Oh dear. Well, she got a new robot arm out of it anyway, and she's in the mansion now. A note is left on the nightstand. With Sayori's phone number

06[03:44] * Daichi sighs, "No. Never." and wheels onto the boat. Once everyone is onboard, it starts to lift them up to the deck...A large gathering of people can be seen, Jim and Grisham are praying silently
06[03:45] * Vivit smiles at Paisley, "I know that we'll always be fine in the end...but that doesn't mean I enjoy the ride..." she says with a tired look.
06[03:45] * Paisley offers the rest of her soup to Vivit. Somehow it's still hot.

06[03:46] * Vivit thanks her and drinks a bit, still depressed...she was pretty close to getting a fairly normal day today...if you omit the part of Miyuki getting mauled by a raptor of course.
[03:47] <Daichi> Two men in suits, wearing sunglasses approach them. "Sayori Hayashida?" Daichi groans, "You've got the wrong Hayashida." the men look at eachother, "If you are who you say you are, then that's even better. Jim Lang and Grisham Stone?" the two hijackers nod nervously, "And the rest of you. Would you like to play?"

"--But to test the mettle of only one's luck is cruel, you all are here because you are indeed unlucky. But we believe in your worth. That is why you are here, to repay your debts- and show your true strengths. There are six games based on what make a human being powerful- Athletics, Affection, Cunning, Skill, Luck, and Will."

06[04:03] * Miyuki suddenly looks just a little put off. "Ah... are... are you sure? You might need my help...

06[04:04] * Miyuki makes her way over to the Cunning door with Daichi... seeming in little hurry to get there, either

06[04:09] * Vivit still clad in her maid swimsuit, waits patiently for the door in front of her to be opened.
[04:09] <Daichi> A door marked SKILL greets you. Once inside, a room themed like an old western bar greets you- the only thing that's off is a man in a black suit in the middle of the room. The place feels like the inside of a furnace...Looking collected, is a man in a black suit (poor guy) "This game is the most challenging. But the simplest one available. 06[04:32] * Daichi looks away, "So you are." if he ends up on the center platform, could he really trust her?
06[04:32] * Miyuki nips that problem in the bud right away! "So we need to jump to safety...? Whatever happens master, you shouldn't be out there... if you were to fall, you wouldn't be able to do anything about it at all.
06[04:33] * Daichi looks to Miyuki, "And what would you do if you fell?"
06[04:34] * Miyuki shrugs... her voice carefully expressionless. "I might be able to survive somehow... if not... then you hire a new maid. Easy."
[04:34] <Daichi> The man in the suit walks forward to hand out slips of paper, Daichi couldn't really argue with Miyuki...

[04:35] <Daichi> The man in the suit hands Miyuki a blindfold, "Please put this on, and get on the center platform."
[04:35] <Miyuki> Well... wish me luck.
06[04:35] * Miyuki doesn't add her thought of 'if you care to do so', tieing the blindfold around her eyes and stepping out to the center
[04:36] <Daichi> "I forgot to mention another rule...If you get the safe tile, and the center doesn't jump to it- you recieve double points."
06[04:36] * Daichi looks to miyuki hesitantly, "I won't let you fall."
[04:37] <Daichi> Unbeknowest to Miyuki, Daichi, Grisham, and the man in the suit each take a platform
[04:37] <Miyuki> I'll... I'll hold you to that!
06[04:37] * Miyuki can't help but feel a little nervous... she likes to think she's plenty cunning... but this is really putting her skills to the test!
[04:39] <Daichi> Once Miyuki is on the platform...The roof overhead opens, and the platforms raise slowly, to a dizzying height...Judging from the time it takes to ascend, a drop means certain death.
[04:41] <Daichi> Before putting on the blindfold, Miyuki had noticed that three platforms had large metal walls in front of them, with slots for the one behind them to speak through. At the summit, Miyuki's platform spins for thirty seconds, disorienting her. "You have fifteen minutes to make a decision, the faster you do the more you win. You may pick who speaks first, and each player takes a turn clockwise."
06[04:42] * Daichi feels a lump in his throat...How would he handle this if he was on the center platform?
06[04:43] * Miyuki shifts just a bit dizzily after the platform stops spinning, taking a few moments to regain her footing... She looks around a little bit, despite that it does her no good with her blindfold. "Ah... I'll have... you speak first, Mr. Suit...
06[04:43] * Miyuki is trusting in Daichi's own sense of cunning... if she understands the game right, giving him a chance to hear what at least one of the others say first might increase her odds.
[04:44] <Daichi> The man in the suit responds coldly, "That is a common choice. I hope you too are not common. Jump towards my platform. Based on statistics, you are more likely to be killed by someone you know than a stranger, aren't you? I benefit nothing from winning, I have no incentive to help you win or lose. But I will tell you my platform is safe."
06[04:46] * Miyuki nods at that, listening... but then, maybe if people are betting on her dieing, he has a reason to give her the wrong platform. "You next, Mr. Grisham...
[04:48] <Daichi> Grisham fumbles his words, "If there's anyone you would naturally trust the least it's me, isn't it? I ask only that you make your decision carefully, surviving is more important than winning big. Daichi, the suit, and I are acting in our own interests not yours. I'm sorry, but I won't say if my tile is safe or not for now."
06[04:49] * Miyuki sighs. "Fair enough... Daichi?
06[04:49] * Daichi remains silent.
[04:49] <Daichi> The suit speaks up, "You have to say something, Mr.Hayashida."
06[04:50] * Daichi finally speaks up. "Don't jump towards my platform."
[04:51] <Daichi> "That's all."
[04:51] <Miyuki> I'll... assume you have a good reason for that, even if you aren't sharing it... and our mystery fourth guest?
[04:52] <Daichi> The fourth speaks up immediately...It's...Daichi? His voice rings with that familiar weakness, "I told you I won't let you fall. Jump towards my platform so we can get back to the other, okay?"
[04:53] <Miyuki> Wh-what the... there are two of you!?
[04:53] <Daichi> The man in the suit speaks up, "Five minutes have passed."
06[04:54] * Daichi yells, the one who just spoke, "Be careful!"
[04:58] <Miyuki> Okay...
06[05:00] * Miyuki "looks" to the one that spoke... the one with that 'familiar' weakness. "You said you wouldn't let me fall... so at least it's the same as when we went rock climbing, right? Before your legs stopped working?" Of course, obviously, there was never such a rock climbing trip... but if it was a fake, maybe he wouldn't know that.
[05:00] <Daichi> The man in the suit speaks up, "Do you understand how this game works yet? I'll reccomend again that you jump towards my platform. They had a 'second' Daichi because of a very obvious reason, to confuse you. Neither of them are safe."

In the end... well, this Daichi does sound familiarly tired... and he did promise not to let her fall... she just hopes that he's the right one, as she moves to get on his platform, the one belonging to the Daichi most recently speaking

06[05:12] * Miyuki hits the wall... as she falls, really all she can think about is essentially what was mentioned. NOW he cares... she thinks on that as she drops, though, one hand reaching upward, as if hoping his hand will be there to catch her. Of course it isn't, and she realises that he probablY DOES care in his own way... he just can't show it.

06[05:58] * Paisley somehow seems flustered by all the choices, and almost does attempt to pick apart Jim's hand, but then she remembered something Miyuki had told her before. "Don't ever change," huh? She actually smiles and places her two-pair down.
[05:59] <Daichi> Jim is on the verge of tears. They lost twice. The third man jumps for joy, taking the star he leaves the room...A man in a suit approaches to lead Jim and Paisley away...What would happen to them?
06[06:01] * Paisley gets lead off, entirely uncertain of her fate. "Ah'm sorry, Jim."
[06:01] <Daichi> Jim shakes his head, "It's ok Paisley, I'm sorry I couldn't help you...I-It'll be ok though...I'm sure Mr.Hayashida will rescue us..."
[06:04] <Daichi> Vivit is still in that same, strange room...Which circle to pick? People start to pick at random, others ready to break down and cry
06[06:04] * Vivit looks at each circle without much thought and tries to think of a solution.
06[06:05] * Vivit scratches her head, she really wishes she weren't here...she hopes the others had something a bit less random than what she had...
[06:05] <Daichi> Circle one seems nearly entirely full, one lone person on six, and a smattering of others on the rest

06[06:05] * Vivit reaches into her pocket and starts walking towards the middle of the spotlights.

06[06:10] * Vivit looks over to the 4th space, it didn't have that many people on it as of now. She slowly walks over to it, hoping that her luck was feeling a bit more on her side today...
[06:10] <Daichi> A monitor comes on the screen, currently displaying 0. The man in the suit goes to press the button...
06[06:10] * Vivit muses to herself, if she had her whip, she could probably save herself from any fall...but being in this swimsuit made it hard to bring around so she even left her cloth spear ribbon back in her bag...
[06:11] <Daichi> The lone man on 6 drops, displaying no emotion. Though you could tell in his face he was sure he'd win...
[06:12] <Daichi> Everyone else is relieved. The man in the suit speaks, "Those who would like to play again, stay where you are. Each round doubles the favor recieved. But you can't chage your current position."
06[06:12] * Vivit simply watches as he falls, looks like fate was feeling kind today...
06[06:13] * Vivit considers what to do and simply stands there.

[06:14] <Daichi> A number of people leave, more than half. The man goes to press the button...

06[06:15] * Vivit looks at them emotionlessly as they fall, breathing slowly as she feels the hands of fate closing around her neck....the same hands that closed around her sister's neck before.

[06:16] <Daichi> Again, half of the people start to leave. Only one other remains one four with Vivit. A sorrowful looking woman with black hair...She looks to vivit with a smile.
[06:17] <Daichi> "May I hold your hand?" the woman asks
[06:17] <Daichi> "I'm rahter afraid.."
06[06:17] * Vivit nods with a smile to her. "Sure." she says, accepting her hand.
[06:18] <Daichi> The screen goes blank and the suit prepares to press the button again. The woman grips Vivit's hand tightly
[06:18] <Daichi> The woman sighs, "We made it..."
[06:19] <Daichi> Four people on three drop
06[06:19] * Vivit smiles gently to her. "I guess fate was kind to us today..."
06[06:19] * Vivit gets off her platform silently, closing her eyes. "...you really are cruel fate..."
[06:20] <Daichi> The woman looks to Vivit, "I'll understand if you go...But I'm not leaving. Not yet." the woman smiles at Vivit. "My name is Emma by the way...What's yours? Will you stay?"
06[06:21] * Vivit smiles "My name is Vivit and I'm sorry...but I feel fate beckoning..."
[06:21] <Daichi> The man speaks, "From here the favor is quadrupled, good luck."
06[06:21] * Vivit looks behind her one last time.
[06:21] <Daichi> The woman waves slowly, "Goodbye Vivit..."
[06:22] <Daichi> Vivit sees the third drop, the woman seems nearly supernatural...She may just make it. "Goodbye.." she says again as Vivit leaves

[06:26] <Daichi> Vivit spies Daichi, rolling by himself...The winners seem to be in here, but the aura of the room is dark and hideous.

[06:35] <Daichi> Grisham looks up to Miyuki, "Master Hayashida! He tricked both of us, didn't he! That rat bastard!"

06[06:36] * Vivit just cries alongside with Daichi.
[06:36] <Daichi> Grisham sits up, "Well, he tricked me anyway. I helped his pass the second game, but in the third he told me to jump towards him and I dropped!"

[06:37] <Daichi> Grisham realizes Daichi did it for not being truthful to Miyuki, since he was on the safe platform in the first game. "E-Exactly! But nevermind that! We should figure a way out of here!"
06[06:38] * Miyuki furrows her brow, crossing her arms and thinking. "But... I don't get it..."

06[06:40] * Daichi rolls with Vivit over to the back table, "We're supposed to collect our winnings over here...Maybe we can find out if the others are still playing."

[06:41] <Daichi> Grisham stands, walking around- trying to get his bearings. They seem to be in a thick glass case- very dark

[06:41] <Daichi> Grisham stutters, "You were blindfolded so you wouldn't know- b-but we couldn't see the others."
[06:42] <Daichi> The winnings are passed out, for each going three rounds Daichi and Vivit recieve a large amount. "What happened to--" he's cut off by the teller, "You'll have to wait until the challenges are finished. You can watch those still competing on screen."
06[06:43] * Daichi looks to the ground, "R-Right..." and wheels away with Vivit- what was all this cash for? He had all the money in the world...He wanted to see Miyuki again, and apologize...
06[06:44] * Vivit took a little solace in the money, now they could afford the hospital bills for at least a bit of time...but then recalled that it meant losing Miyuki...

[06:44] <Daichi> Grisham shrugs, "Sorry I can't be of more help, maybe Daichi knew by the second game you wouldn't die- and sent me to check on you?

06[06:45] * Miyuki sighs and taps on the glass with her new robo arm. "I guess we'll just have to find out what we can, when we can...
06[06:45] * Daichi looked to the row of monitors in the back...He only saw Hazuki, preparing to play...If Hazuki didn't make it...
06[06:46] * Vivit watches the monitors as well and grows quiet, her eyes wide.

[06:46] <Daichi> Grisham taps around on the glass, "I'm not sure...That Mr.Hayashida's got a good head on his shoulder though, doesn't he?"
06[06:46] * Vivit can't see any feed of Paisley however...
[06:46] <Daichi> "Maybe he realized something we couldn't while he was in the center..."

06[06:48] * Daichi reclines in his seat, each missing face felt like it was taking whole sections out of his heart. He had finally opened up to Paisley...What would he tell her parents? Tears flowed constantly down Daichi's cheeks, if Miyuki just hadn't said something like "what could go wrong" they'd all be ok...No, it was his fault. It always was.
06[06:50] * Vivit falls to her knees and starts crying softly, losing Miyuki was one thing but Paisley as well? What would she tell Airi? She'd be heartbroken...more so than Vivit felt herself at the moment, wishing that she had fallen herself...
