- 1: My first settlement intersected the Weet port, a 9 wood, and a 3 wood.
- 2: My second settlement intersected a 5 Wood, a 6 Weet, and a 10 Weet.
- 3: My plan for building those 2 settlements there was to get both, the Wood and Weet ports ASAP. If I built for the wood port first, it would take MUCH longer to get the other one and the chances of somebody blocking me would greatly increase.
- 4: So, as the game started, I saw that drEmielsan blocked me ever so slightly. The only thing I lost was a quicker access to clay. This didn't bother me much since there is another spot I can get clay which I get later.
- 5: I spent the first 3-5 turns building roads, then a settlement intersecting a 3 wood, an 8 weet, and the wood port.
- 6: Afterwards, Rosi took longest road, but I take it back a turn after I build my next settlement on a 6 wood and 9 wood.
- 7: Now that I have both my Weet and Wood ports with 13 dots of each, I build 2 more roads followed by the settlement I talked about in step 4. That settlement intersects a 3 clay, a 5 clay, and a 6 wood.
- 8: Next, I build a road going for more clay followed by another one to ensure Rosi doesn't block me.
- 9: A turn later, I upgrade my second settlement into a city (the one intersecting a 5 wood, a 6 Weet, and a 10 Weet).
- 10: Lastly, I finish the game by building another settlement intersecting a 3 clay, a 5 wood, and a desert, then upgrading my 3rd settlement into a city (the one intersecting a 3 wood, an 8 Weet, and the Wood port)
