Name: Lord Deadly (Born: Laird Dade Lee)

Origin Story: Laird Dade Lee was a physically average son, born to an average family in southeast Missouri. However, when he was growing up, he loved faerie stories, and tales of knights in shining armor slaying dragons, and rescuing maidens. At a young age, he joined a local Historical European Martial Arts club, and began training in the use of the sword, the shield, the spear, the mace, and the axe. When he turned sixteen, instead of a car, he bought a suit of half-plate armor. Laird made a living going from renaissance faire to renaissance faire, besting opponents on the field of battle. His style of combat astounded onlookers and professionals alike. With his lightning fast reflexes, Laird could outmaneuver his opponents at every turn. Lee wasn't always loved by his co-workers. Some found it irritating that he insisted on staying in character all the time. He almost never removed his armour, and took public transportation everywhere. It was not an uncommon sight to witness a knight in full plate armour riding a greyhound bus from Cape Gerardeau to Jefferson City. Shortly before the skeletons attacked, four things happened which changed his life forever. He was honored at his HEMA club as a champion of the longsword, purchased matching arming swords and longswords of the highest quality from a smith in Wisconsin, bought a horse, and fell into a vat of boiling oil. Laird was touring a new ren faire's kitchen, when he tripped, and fell into a vat of oil that the employees used to fry giant turkey legs. As he screamed in pain, something changed within him. Laird couldn't describe it,but it felt as though through the pain, his body was improving, as though he'd just run a thousand marathons. He was rushed to the hospital, where the doctors attempted to repair the extensive damage to his body, but were unable to remove his armour, which had melded with his skin. Now, he has awakened in an abandoned hospital, totally unaware of his new powers.
