ESA 2019 was a lot of fun as always, and my 6th (!) ESA overall.
The goings-on at the event were pretty standard, so I mainly want to just do shoutouts and future plans in this paste.

People Shoutouts to:
ESA FGC - there may have been less of us that at previous events, but it's still super fun to hang out with all of you. If you've ever wanted to pick up a fighting game, come mess around with whatever we're playing at ESA - it will be fun :)
FF Crew - You're all great :) Always fun to hang out even though I am pretty removed from most of the goings on nowadays. Maybe if things pick up again we can do the relay again hahaha ( :L )
Fangame crew - It was amazing to finally meet a bunch of you properly, I definitely feel like I've slowly sidled into the community a lot more this year, and it was super fun hanging out.
Weakest Link crew - see below
Cosmoing - Bunny boys! Co-op was fun (even if endgame sucks), and thanks for introducing me to the rando, I'll have to look into getting races done for that I think :)
Anyone else I forgot but hung out with, I did this a few days late and don't really remember a few days due to being ill, but I didn't have a bad interaction all event, so you're all great people :D

Event shoutouts to:
The Arcade - super neat idea, glad it happened. It was fun to mess around with some of the games even though they generally weren't my thing.
Eurobeat Rally - this was a blast
Fangame gamejam - Super glad I was involved in this, it was a really fun and new experience for me, and it felt really nice to have something basically done in the time limit (I guess that counts as throwing shade, sorry guys XD ). Hopefully it will see the light of day soon.
Weakest Link - What can I say, this started as an impromptu meme game session and turned into something much much larger, huge shoutouts to Congruence for enabling it, and keeping the momentum going all the way up to the live finals. Modded PC version next year maybe?
Max - no further comment
Using card instead of cash - hard recommend if you can not get screwed by your card provider. So much more convenient.

My flight home getting delayed by an hour - New terminal area at CPH is pretty nice though ngl

Future plans:
So between getting close to finishing my fangame anyway, the ESA gamejam, and wolfie's next challenge coming up, I'm going to be focusing super hard on finishing up my fangame project for the next however long it takes. I hope to get it released by the end of September at the latest, but I also think that formalising it like this is a huge curse so oh well...
I might start doing some dev streams once the initial testing pass is done (which should be soon), obviously they would be spoiler heavy for the game, but I figure people might like chilling out and seeing how it all comes together.

Speedrunning wise I want to come back to Rabi-Ribi ATM BEx eventually, since I think that category can still go a lot further, and it was a super fun experience for me when I did it last. It's also a pretty manageable length for the difficulty it is so there's that.
There's a couple of RPGs I have my eye on as well, some from a routing perspective, and a couple from a running one, but we'll see what pans out.
I've pretty much given up on SS again though, not really feeling it anymore. Maybe I'll come back around but not any time soon.

Fighting game wise I'm still playing BBTAG and enjoying it. Might get Samurai Shodown, but PC port delay sucks and idk if I'll still be interested when it comes around. EVO is this weekend so this should be the big shakeup if anything - we'll see what comes out of it - shoutouts to leaks :) :(

Random fluff:
I've discovered King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard recently, neat band.
Fully settled into my flat by this point and I really like living in my own place, it's super good.
Going to be upgrading my computer pretty thoroughly soon, needs a redo because it's getting kind of old and this summer has not been kind to it temperature wise.
Slowly starting to play more music again - it's fun, and now I have time again, works out pretty nicely.
