This is a pretty straightforward normal/ground cb spam that i made when i realized that many self proclaimed "pu mains" were building teams that either lacked a solid normal resist or a solid ground resist. spikes were added because omanyte is 1 of the most solid normal resists in the tier, but also because it makes chipping eventual switch ins a lot easier, gastly blocks stops some rapid spin users from performing their duty, works as a switch in to opposing ground and normal-types and punches holes into the opposing team through will-o-wisp and destiny bond (as well as powerful magnet-boosted thunderbolts) and dragonair shines as a late game cleaner once the opposing pokemon have been weakened (for example, catching a shuckle with aipom's iron tail usually paves the way for dragonair vs balance). you can also run physical dragonair on this specific team, but i feel that special shines a lot more often due to the instant +2 speed boost (which can be crucial in a dragonair mirror where the opponent is dd) and the easier time getting past common checks such as omanyte.
