  1. So... Steven talks to the tyrants and makes them feel bad and each have a redemption arc in five minutes. Then they all go to the mind control super tyrant and talks to her about being nice. She tries to kill him, learns that she can't kill him without also killing the fourth baby tyrant, and just Gives Up. They zoom past all of the countless worlds they've already destroyed, get to Earth, and make everything better by restoring all of the other gems.

  3. So is the moral "be careful, if you try to take over the universe, you might hurt the people you don't already hate"? Are they going to restore the kindergarten wastes, return the humans from the human zoo back to Earth or do anything about the countless other planets they've destroyed. No, but Steven wrote a nice song.

  5. I do want to recognize the good message here about respecting the identities and families of people who are different, but the show makes some clumsy missteps along the way and never attempts to rectify them.
