  2. Blind:
  3. reduces accuracy by 20%, and makes targeting random. stacks increase duration & how severe the penalty is.

  5. Petrification:
  6. prevents the target from acting, increase physical defense by 50%, reduces damage from wind-based attacks by 15%, increases damage from water-based attacks by 30%, as well as increasing blunt damage by 10%. stacks increase duration & strength of the penalty/stat buff.

  8. Confusion:
  9. reduces intelligence & and has a chance to make you "misfire", hurting yourself or a teammate. stacks increase duration & the severity of the penalty.
  10.  
  11. Stun: have a 10% chance to be unable to move; when attacked by a enemy with a higher agility stat, it is a guaranteed hit. reduces speed by 20%. stacks increase the likelihood of turn loss, duration & severity of stat penalty. chances of losing your turn cannot go over 70%.
  12.  
  13. Chill: take 5% of max hp as damage at the start of every turn, & reduces speed & evasion by 10%. stacks increase damage taken. duration & severity of stat penalty. amount of health lost cannot go over 25%.

  15. Fear: Lose 4% of magical & physical attack and defense, and a 10% chance to lose your turn.

  17. Burn: take 15% of max hp as damage at the start of each turn & increase speed and evasion by 15%. stacks increase duration & damage
  18. taken. amount of health lost per turn cannot go over 65%. Speed and evasion boost cannot go above 35%.

  20. Blighted: take 5% of max hp as damage at the start of each turn & decrease physical and magical defense by 5%. stacks increase duration & damage taken each turn. amount of health lost per turn cannot go over 40%.

  22. Rage: increase the damage rank of all physical skills (i.e. very low -> low), but doubles the dice rolls of them, and single target skills have a 70% chance to change target to attack the inflicter instead of intended target. does not stack.
  23.  
  24. Hex: take 2% of max hp as damage at the end of every turn, and reduces all stats equal to the amount of hp lost by this effect. stat reduction resets after every battle. applying multiple "Hex" instances does not stack. stat reduction effect cannot exceed 80% of base stats.
