  1. "I want you to know that you're my everything, that I love you and that you make me so happy. I want to be with you now and forever. Princess Celestia, will you do me the honor of making me the happiest man alive?"
  2.
  3. "AHA, AHAHAHAHAA oh anonymous, that was a good one, you're so funny."
  4.
  5. You are anonymous, and you are at your wits end, a couple years ago you arrived in this land of technicolor midget horses. There was a certain horse that stood out from the rest, she was tall, majestic, and the purest white you had ever seen. Ever since you had first laid your eyes on her you knew you were in love, the horse was none other than the illustrious princess Celestia herself. When you actually started talking with her she turned out to be everything you've ever wanted in a woman. Even though she was a horse, you couldn't help but want to be with her. You could barely contain your excitement when she offered to let you stay in the castle.
  6.
  7. In the time between then and now, you've tried everything to obtain the princess's affection. No matter what you try or how thick you lay it on, she just laughs it off. For some reason she always seems to think you're joking, every time you profess your love to her she just chuckles. Not anymore though, if she won't see just how much you love her on her own, you'll just have to show her. It's taken a while and a lot of bits had to be paid to a few shady pones, but you finally have everything you'll need. She may not understand at first but she WILL see how much you love her. You've found an old cave under the castle that should do nicely, you've spent weeks moving furniture in to make it an appropriate living space.
  8.
  9. All that's left to do now is gather it's occupant, which would normally be a suicidal mission. Luckily for you the royal kitchen just got a new shipment of ingredients in. You just so happened to sneak some heavy sleeping herbs into her highness's royal cake mix. After dinner she'll be dead to the world for the rest of the night. All you'll have to do is grab her and take her to the cave by way of some of the secret passages dotted around the castle. You won't even have to worry about her guards. That brings you back to the present, you're actually eating dinner with the two princess sisters at the moment. Once again you had tried to express your love to the older princess but she still seemed to think you were joking.
  10.
  11. Not to worry though, she'll know soon enough just how serious you are, and then you'll live out the rest of your lives together.
  12.
  13. "are you ok anonymous?" Luna asked, snapping you out of your thoughts.
  14.
  15. "Huh? Yeah, why do you ask?" you reply.
  16.
  17. "your eye seemed to be twitching, we thought you might have gotten something in it, and would like some help".
  18.
  19. "Oh, don't worry, I've got it" you say rubbing your eye, "damn, gotta be careful of that" you mutter under your breath, "there, all better see?". You'd have to watch out for the night princess, if anyone might be able to foil your plan before it could come to fruition, it would be her. The rest of dinner went off without a hitch, though you did have to try pretty hard to hide your excitement when dessert came. Wouldn't want either of them suspecting anything.
  20.
  21. You of course had the foresight to make sure you would have a good reason not to eat the cake yourself. You've been on a diet since you started planning this. You've even been exercising more too. You figure that with how much cake she eats, the princess will be a good deal heavier than she looks. So of course while the princesses shared an admittedly delicious looking cake, you had a nice little bowl of fruit. You had to admit, those apple horses in ponyville really knew their shit. With fruit like theirs you weren't even missing junk food. As expected the cake was shared in a 90 10 split, with the majority going to Celestia. Since Luna wasn't nearly as big on sugar as her older sister.
  22.
  23. As always you walked Celestia back to her room after dinner. After all, if she was found collapsed in a hallway they'd have guards stationed in her room and your chance would be gone. By the time the two of you had made it to her room she was barely still awake. You could see her eyelids drooping, and occasionally she would swerve as she walked. You could hear her mattress creak as she no doubt collapsed on top of it after her door closed. You'd be sure to give it a few hours before coming back. You wanted to make sure that she was sound asleep before trying this. If anything at all goes wrong before she sees your love, you'd be in deep trouble. There's a good amount of pep in your step as you made your way back to your room. You could hardly believe it, soon you and the most beautiful being you've ever seen would finally be together.
  24.
  25. You spent the long hours pacing in your room, you just wanted to rush in there and grab her, but you held yourself back. If by any chance the herbs haven't taken effect yet, your love might wake up before she's supposed to. You had to get this juusst right, you'd never be able to show her your love from the dungeons. You could feel your eye twitching again, you really need to get that looked at. It seemed to happen a lot when you think about her, you're not really sure why. You remember that a twitching eye is usually associated with insanity. But you weren't insane, you were just in love. Oh how you love her, she may not know it yet but she was your everything.
  26.
  27. Finally the long wait was over and you were on your way to pick up your princess. You made your way out to the castle gardens, as it was the closest entrance to the network of secret tunnels. You've spent a lot of time exploring and mapping the passages so making your way to the solar princess would be easy. Luckily you wouldn't have to come out of the tunnels to get to your cave. You figure that these passages would be used much like the ones you would find in castles on earth. Allowing staff and nobility to sneak out should the castle come under enemy siege. Of course they look entirely abandoned, they were likely put in when the castle was first constructed hundreds of years ago. The sisters themselves likely being the only 2 left that remember that they even exist. Hopefully her sister going missing will be enough to get the Lunar princess to overlook the passages when the hunt for her sister is on. Either way you plan on adding a fake wall or two to obscure the way to your cave hideout.
  28.
  29. You arrived at the princess's room in record time, opening the secret trap door you let her scent wash over you. It was a smell that absolutely drove you mad, you could never get enough of it. You had to stop yourself from crawling right into bed with the sleeping beauty. You knew it wouldn't accomplish anything, Celestia may be friendly, but not enough to just let that kind of thing slide. As expected it looks like she barely made it to the bed before she fell asleep. She was collapsed on top of the covers in a position that looked far less than comfortable. You hefted her up and set her across your shoulders. As expected her extremely high intake of sweets makes her a lot heavier than she looks. Luckily that extra exercise was paying off, you might not have been able to lift her otherwise.
  30.
  31. You could feel her soft fur against the exposed skin of your neck. Being so close to her, having her smell surround you, feeling her against you, it was pure euphoria. With your head practically swimming, you carry the love of your life down into the tunnels. About half way to the cave her weight started to take it's toll. You powered on, driven by your desire to show her your true feelings. You imagined the happy life you two would live together. You thought about how each day would be better than the last, how you would spend each and every night together. You imagined starting a family together, and how happy it would all make you. You made it to the cave with the princess held high, she may have been heavy but it was worth it. You gently set her down on the bed and set to work tying her up.
  32.
  33. You may have loved her with all your being, but you didn't want her leaving until she fully understood your feelings. You even managed to procure a super strength magic inhibitor. It was the kind used by only the highest security prisons in Equestria. Said to be powerful enough to dampen even an alicorn's magic. You hoped those rumors were true, you'd never be able to convince her of your love as a pile of ash. You figured she'd be a bit peeved when she finally wakes up. Though you didn't want to, you had to gag her. You didn't want to risk her yelling giving away your hideout. Any mistake you make with this plan could be your last mistake. With your work done for now you take a step back and admire your handy work. You could hardly believe it, she was really right there and after one last short wait, she'd be yours.
  34.
  35. You activated the magic powered heater and sat down in the plush armchair you had brought down. You knew it would be a while before she would wake up, but you were far too excited to sleep. Instead you spent the hours trying to figure out EXACTLY how to articulate your feelings towards the mare. Now that you had your chance to finally get it across to her, you wanted to get it just right. You rehearsed dozens of speeches in the time it took the herbs to wear off. Despite your excitement you actually started to feel a bit tired. You were about to nod off when you noticed your love begin to stir. As she tried to get up her eyes went wide, realizing she was tied down and gagged she began to panic. She began to thrash around in an attempt to get free. You rushed over and tried to calm her, attempting to stroke her gently while avoiding being skewered on the end of her horn. As she realized it was you her panic was replaced by confusion.
  36.
  37. Her struggling slows as those big beautiful eyes of hers lock with yours.
  38.
  39. "Shhhh, shhhh, that's it, see? It's only me, my love" the look on her face tells you exactly what she's thinking.
  40.
  41. "What's going on here?" her face seemed to ask.
  42.
  43. "You seem confused, let me shed some light on the situation here" you say, your hand gently caressing her muzzle. She seems uncomfortable with your touch but doesn't try to move her head away. "You see, I fell in love with you the moment I saw you…but when if finally told you how I felt…you laughed at me". "I don't know why, but you seemed to think I was joking, but I was serious…VERY serious". She seemed to be getting more nervous, but you're not sure why, she had nothing to fear from you, you LOVED her. "And every time after that too, you seemed to think it was a running joke, and no matter what I tried you just didn't get it…so now I'm going to SHOW you my true feelings".
  44.
  45. Something about your explanation seemed to set her off. Suddenly she was struggling and straining harder than ever, screaming herself raw against the gag. You could see the fire in those gorgeous eyes of hers. You thank your lucky stars that you managed to get that magic inhibitor. You know that if she could, she'd probably vaporize you. Admittedly you'd be mad too if you woke up in a damp, cold, cave, gagged and tied down to a bed. But you HAD to do this, she just wouldn't come around on her own. Your attempts to calm her down seemed to do nothing, she probably still thought that this was a prank taken too far. She'd see, even if it took you years, she'd see. Unfortunately it was getting late and you were starting to get tired. Your cave hideout only had one bed, and with it's occupant thrashing around like she was, sharing it would be impossible.
  46.
  47. You decided it would be best to just let her tire herself out. It would be prudent to get to work on setting up those false walls to keep her sister out. You only had the rest of tonight to work with before the hunt would be on. Once the ponies realized that the sun wasn't raised at the proper time they'd realize that Celestia was missing. You set about preparing the false walls that would keep your love safe until she came around to your feelings. It would be a simple set up, but one you felt confident in. You put together some basic wooden doors shaped to fit the contours of the tunnel. You then took some bricks you cut in half and attached them to the outside of the door to simulate the brickwork in the tunnels. They'd be a bit hard to remove once you had them in place. But that would only make it harder to discover that they were fakes.
  48.
  49. On your way back to your room you set up the fake walls, placing one at each intersection in the tunnels. Making sure that finding the cave would only be possible for someone as familiar with the tunnels as you, or someone with extremely good luck. Arriving back at the garden hatch you cracked the trapdoor and scanned the area thoroughly. You didn't want anyone seeing you going in or out of the tunnels. You decided that once the hunt for the missing princess was on, you'd start using a different entrance each time you entered the tunnels to avert suspicion. Luckily you've always been a night person. So once you were out of the passage and the hatch was shut, you were home free as it was common for you to take late night strolls. As such not a single pony bothered to question you on your way back to your bed. Though normally you'd have been asleep by now, since the sun would usually be coming up in an hour or so.
  50.
  51. As you drift off to sleep, your mind wanders to the princess once again. A smile comes to your face as you slip from consciousness, brought on by the thoughts of your future with her. Hours later you wake up and make your way to lunch. It seems Luna went ahead and raised the sun for her sister. You can see how agitated she is about it too. She's slouched in her chair, grumbling under her breath about her sister's laziness.
  52.
  53. She hardly seems to notice you as you take your usual seat at the table. You decide to leave her to her ramblings and to ignore the missing sun horse. It would be a good idea to avoid calling too much attention to her absence, with luck they'd just think she was being lazy this morning. Eventually though, the lunar princess is snapped out of her mumbled tirade by the royal servers bringing in food. For the first time in the minutes you've been here, she notices you.
  54.
  55. "oh, hello anonymous, how long hath thou been there?"
  56.
  57. "long enough, Luna, long enough"
  58.
  59. She seems embarrassed that you caught her ranting. But after a few seconds of awkward silence she launches in to another rant about her sister. This time she doesn't bother keeping her voice down. She lets you know fully well just how peeved she is at her sister for not letting her know ahead of time that she'd have to raise the sun. She explains how she isn't much of a morning person either. And how raising the sun is far harder on her than it is her sister. Apparently it's harder for each sister to affect the other's celestial body.
  60.
  61. You simply opted to sit in silence and eat while half listening to her. You wanted to finish as soon as you could without scarfing the food down. You were anxious to get back to your love, she must be so lonely without you there to keep her company. Having finished your meal you excuse yourself. Claiming it to be time for your run. In reality you were, of course, going to visit your princess.
  62.
  63. You made your way to an old wine cellar, one that would be quite abandoned at this time of day. In your exploring you found that it housed yet another entrance to the tunnels. You also happen to know that the princesses are the only ponies in the castle who drink wine. Luckily they prefer it before bed as opposed to throughout the day. Meaning that this cellar would be clear for a large window of time during the day.
  64.
  65. As you're making your way through the tunnels, you realize something. How could you be so utterly thoughtless? You completely forgot that your darling Cellybean would want some lunch of her own. You change direction so that you'll come out in an alley about a block away from the castle. You pick up a hayburger and fries, not the most gourmet meal but it'll do. You also decide to pick up a bit of desert, a nice big cake that would last days for any normal pony.
  66.
  67. You planned on using her love of cake against her. If she behaves, she'll get a slice of the cake with every meal. Knowing her love of the stuff, she's probably already going through cake withdraw. Making sure that no ponies are watching you, you slip back into the alley. As you enter the cave you can hear shuffling, it sounds like she's trying to get away again. Her struggling stops as you enter the cave. Her eyes widen as she eyes the cake in your hand.
  68.
  69. "Good morning darling…well I guess it's afternoon now" you say as you enter. "I brought you some lunch, now I know it's not the kind of food you're used to, but it's better than nothing".
  70.
  71. Her eyes never leave the cake as you set the food on the dinner table you had set up. "I see you've noticed the cake too" you say with a smile. "If you're really good during our little lunch date I'll make sure you get a piece, sound good?" you ask. She seems to think it over for just a second, but her love of cake soon wins out. She nods her head slowly, probably hesitant to agree to conditions you haven't even told her yet. "Oh good, there's only two rules, no yelling and no biting my fingers" you tell her. She seems confused by this so you decide to explain. "Since I don't quite trust you yet, I won't be undoing anything but your gag, wouldn't want you trying to run now would we?".
  72.
  73. You move over to the side of the bed and begin untying the gag. You wipe it off with a rag and set it aside for later. Moving back over to the table, you pick up the fast food bag and bring it to your mare.
  74.
  75. "Anonymous…" the princess begins, "Why are you doing this?"
  76.
  77. "what do you mean why am I doing this?" you respond "I'm doing this because I love you."
  78.
  79. "But don't you see Anonymous, we could never be together, after all, I'm a princess and you're well…"
  80.
  81. "W-what do you mean? Clearly you just don't see how much I love you."
  82.
  83. "No, Anonymous, I've always known I just didn't have the heart to tell you that it could never be. I guess I was just hoping that you'd move on when I didn't reciprocate your advances."
  84.
  85. "Well clearly you don't know that love is blind, but you'll see, even if it takes years."
  86.
  87. She seems to get nervous at that statement, you're really not sure why though. Surely she knows that you would NEVER hurt her. You've spent the entire time you've been in Equestria proclaiming your love for her as many times as you could. She eyed you suspiciously as you got her food out for her. You decide to reassure her a bit.
  88.
  89. "Relax honey, I didn't put anything in your food, I already have you right where I need you to be. I love you, and I want our first time together to be special, I would never force it."
  90.
  91. "Anonymous, you drugged me and have me tied up in a cave…" she says with a bit of fear, but mostly annoyance.
  92.
  93. "Shush darling, now is the time for eating, not talking."
  94.
  95. You decide to start with the hayburger, unwrapping it half way and bringing it up to her mouth. Hesitantly she takes a small bite, after a bit of waiting she sees that nothing is happening. Satisfied that she wouldn't end up in an even less desirable position, she starts scarfing the burger down. You can barely keep up with the voracious princess, but soon enough all that's left of the burger is the wrapper. Moving on to the fries, you take a few and place them in your palm, keeping your hand flat. It's actually quite cute seeing her eat like the horses from back home.
  96.
  97. It's not long before the fries are gone too. You don't need to be psychic to know what she's going to ask next. She's been eyeing that cake through the whole meal. Without even waiting for her to ask about it, you move over to the cake. You cut what most people would call a normal sized slice. Of course, to a cake addict like her, this would be more like a sliver. Her ears droop a bit and she looks visibly disappointed.
  98.
  99. "Aww, I know you were expecting a bit more, but gourmet cakes are expensive. I can't afford to let you have a whole cake with every meal."
  100.
  101. Instead of responding, she simply pouts, refusing to look at you or the slice of cake. You simply sit there and wait, you know she can't resist any amount of cake for long. Soon enough she proves you right, turning to stare at the cake slice, even drooling a bit. Seeing that she was ready to stop being such a grumpy gills, you cut a bit of the slice off with a fork. Even with you deliberately going a bit slow, it doesn't take her long to finish the slice. You get up and take the utensils, plate and cake cutter to the magic sink. Turns out, instead of running pipes everywhere, ponies just enchant their plumbing fixtures to teleport water to their location.
  102.
  103. As such, you've set up a full bathroom down here, complete with bathtub, sink and toilet. Finishing up the washing, you set the dishes to the side to dry. You even wash Celestia's gag, you know you wouldn't want to wear an unwashed gag, so why would you make your lover do so? The whole time you're doing the washing up, you can hear your darling whimpering and whining. When you turn around you see the problem, she seems to be squirming, but not in an attempt to escape. You have a hunch as to what's wrong, and if you're right you'll want to act reasonably soon.
  104.
  105. "Darling what's wrong? Do you have to go to the bathroom?" Her face grows a bit red at the question but she nods. "Alright then, since I can't trust you not to run I'll have to supervise you."
  106.
  107. "What?! Absolutely not!"
  108.
  109. "Well it's that or I'll have to have you use a bedpan, because I'm not letting you out of my sight."
  110.
  111. "Grrrr fine! Just hurry up, I want to get this over with as quickly as possible."
  112.
  113. You undo the restraints from the bed and refasten them so her legs are tied together instead. It takes her a bit to make it to the bathroom you've set up. You help her through the process as best you can. She refuses to even look at you, let alone speak to you through the whole ordeal. She continues to pout like this the entire way back to the bed, and even as you tie her back down. You're actually pretty lucky she's too embarrassed to realize how easy escape would be right now. Ironically, she seems to realize that she just let a golden opportunity slip shortly after she's nice and secure.
  114.
  115. "Now honey, I know it's not fun, but I'm going to need you to let me put this gag back in."
  116.
  117. "Absolutely not! First you kidnap me, then you treat me like a foal, and then take what little dignity I have away! I won't stand for any further injustice!"
  118.
  119. "Look, I promise I'll make it up to you ok?"
  120.
  121. "You can 'make it up to me' by untying me and letting me go this instant!"
  122.
  123. "Grrrr, how do you STILL not understand how much I love you even after all this time?! I've spent years hoping you'd see on your own, so now it's time for me to show you."
  124.
  125. "Anon, I don't mmppphhh!" as she turned to address you, you shoved the gag back into her mouth. Fastening it as quickly as you can while trying to make sure it wouldn't be uncomfortable. You knew what she was going to say, but you didn't want to hear it. Even after two whole years of rejection, it would still hurt too much to hear. Even if she wasn't talking sense when she said it, it would still hurt. That's why you're going to show her, and when she finally sees how much you love her, she'll finally love you back.
  126.
  127. "There, nice and quiet, don't worry though, I'll be back for a romantic dinner date later."
  128.
  129. "Mmmmppppphhhh!! Mmm MMM!"
  130.
  131. "Since I couldn't understand that, I'll just assume you're saying that you can't wait. Well I can't either but just be patient sweetie, it'll be time before you know it."
  132.
  133. "Mmmmm!"
  134.
  135. "Goodbye for now my love! We'll meet again soon!"
  136.
  137. With that you made your way back towards the tunnels. Intent on planning out every little detail of your date later. Maybe you can convince her of your love by professing it one more time once she sees the effort you put into this date. You think about it as you make your way back out to the streets of Canterlot. You should have everything you need except for the meal itself. It might not be the most financially sound move, but you figure you could spare some of your savings on this.
  138.
  139. Once you've made it back to the streets, you start scoping out some of the higher class restaurants. While you know you can't afford the best of the best, you want to get as close as possible. Even if you go completely broke trying, this will all be worth it when she finally understands your love. She WILL understand too, you'll try for as long as it takes, but she WILL understand. You finally settle on a nice little high class establishment, not too big, but certainly upper crust. You check their hours to see what kind of window you'll have to pick up a nice meal for 2.
  140.
  141. Unfortunately they close a bit earlier than most places, so you'll have to have your dinner a bit earlier than you'd have liked. You head inside to make sure that they'll let you order a meal to go. The maître d seemed flabbergasted with your question at first, finding the idea preposterous. Of course, his objections ceased when you offered to pay extra for it. On top of the restaurant's already ridiculous pricing, you'd be out most, if not all of your savings. Feeling confident, if a bit like you were getting ripped off, you leave the eatery.
  142.
  143. As you make your way back to the castle you try to think about the rest of your plans. You go back and forth about scent the candles should be, but eventually settle on lilac. You run through the music you could use in your head. You decide you'll play the newest record by that cellist Octavia Melody, her songs are always classy. You also decide that you'll pick up a bottle of white wine from that cellar too. Your princess does like sweet things after all.
  144.
  145. When you arrive back at the castle you notice something, the place is in total chaos. There are servant pones and guards running all over the place, all shouting to each other. You make out that they seem to be searching for someone. The missing princess you figure, you prepare to confront her sister. You'll have to hope you're acting isn't too bad, if Luna finds out what you've done, there'll be no saving you.
  146.
  147. You make your way to the mare in the center of the chaos. She's shouting orders to random pones left and right. While she's doing her best to coordinate the search. While you find it commendable, you AREN'T going to let her find her sister until she loves you. You'll even fake her murder if you have to, just so you can be together.
  148.
  149. "Hey Luna, what's all this about?"
  150.
  151. "Oh Anonymous, we are glad to see you have returned, it's a crisis, mine sister is missing!"
  152.
  153. "WHAT?! Celestia is missing?! How?!"
  154.
  155. "We do not know, after having to raise the sun for her, we went to her room to check on her, she usually doesn't sleep in. When we went in she was gone without a trace."
  156.
  157. "Wait, isn't this a bit of an over reaction then? How do you know she didn't just decide to play hooky?"
  158.
  159. She shoots you a look that makes the room feel noticeably colder, "Anonymous, we are the co rulers of an entire nation, even if she was 'playing hooky' we would still need to find her, she can't just abandon her post!"
  160.
  161. "Whoa, easy there, no need to get upset with me, I was just saying that you might be over reacting is all, but I see how this is a big deal, what can I do to help?"
  162.
  163. "There isn't much at the moment, just try and look for any clues as to what happened or where she could have gone."
  164.
  165. "Got it."
  166.
  167. With that you head off, intent on trying to mislead the poor lunar princess. You and Luna might not be the best of friends, but you do feel a bit bad about lying to her. All is fair in love and war though, and your love for Celestia is true, and you'll do ANYTHING to prove it. You really hope that it won't take too long though, you don't LIKE keeping you're love locked away. She'll understand eventually though, she'll see. Even if you have to keep her locked away so long that she's declared legally dead.
  168.
  169. It will take some time to get passable fake evidence ready. You head back to your room to think over what you'll be able to do. A fake diary entry expressing a desire to travel perhaps? You realize you're getting ahead of yourself though. For now you decide to focus on your dinner date. You want to prepare a speech for when she sees how much work you'll have put into this date.
  170.
  171. You decide to try a different attempt, you want to go for the "less is more" approach. You want something simple, yet effective. Too much at once might overwhelm the poor mare. It doesn't take long before you have a good speech ready. With your date planned and nothing else to do you decide to indulge your more…base instincts.
  172.
  173. Using the search for clues as a cover, you decide to head to the hallowed sanctuary of your love. Entering the solar princess's room, you let her scent wash over you once again. You close your eyes and take a deep breath, filling your lungs with her. When you finally open your eyes again you can barely see straight. Closing the door behind you, you make your way to the bed.
  174.
  175. Slowly you climb in, dreaming of the day when you'll share this bed with her. You take her sheets gently in your hands, bringing them up to your face. You drink in the smell, and even rub them on your face. You lay there in her bed, surrounded by her scent, oh how you wish she was here with you. Someday she'll see, and then, you'll finally be able to share this room and this bed with her. It feels so empty without her here, but you know you could never share the bed until she loves you back.
  176.
  177. You have to tear yourself away from your euphoria, if anyone saw you doing this, you'd look pretty suspicious. You decide to take the opportunity to root through her room a bit. At least then if anyone caught you in here you could say you're just looking for clues as to where she went. You start with her closet, you wanted to see what kind of clothes your princess had. While the large amount of fancy dresses didn't surprise you, there WAS something that stood out.
  178.
  179. It was something that you've seen around before, but never this size. Hung in front of you were 2 pairs of red socks with black lace around the top. There was also a pair of matching panties. It was pretty much the pony equivalent of lingerie. Sitting there, right in front of you, on the hanger was pony lingerie, Celestia's lingerie no less! You snatched it off the rack and held it there in your hands.
  180.
  181. For what felt like years, you just stared at it. Eventually, you made your way back to the entrance of the closet. You peered around the room, and listened carefully for any sound indicating that someone would enter soon. When you heard nothing and were convinced that no one was in the room with you, or would be any time soon. You carefully shut the closet door and went back into it as far as you could. You stood there, back to the door, lingerie in hand.
  182.
  183. Eventually you brought it up to your face. You rubbed it slowly over your cheek, feeling it's softness. Then you bring it up to your nose, and inhaled deeply. To your surprise, however, they didn't smell like your celly at all. You sigh, having quickly come to the conclusion that she's never worn it before. You decide that you want her to wear it when you finally have your first time together.
  184.
  185. You creep back out of the closet and open the hatch from Celestia's room to the tunnels. You hang the lingerie on an old torch hook for later retrieval. Then you head back up into celly's room again. Having exhausted her closet, you decide to dig around her desk. You root through drawer after drawer with none of them yielding interesting results. Eventually though, you come across one that's locked, both with the regular drawer lock, AND a padlock. You figure that there must be something pretty important in there for it to warrant that kind of protection.
  186.
  187. You had a few ideas on how to get past the high security on the drawer. Unfortunately all of the required tools and time you just didn't have right now. It was starting to get late and you had to get to the restaurant to pick up the food for your date. You hated to leave your lover's personal sanctum, but you could always come back later. Thanks to the ongoing investigation and your offering to help in it, no one batted an eye as you strolled out of the missing princess's bedroom. You'd be sure to sneak back in later to get into that drawer later though. Part of you figured it would be nothing but classified political documents. Another part, however, hoped that it would be something more personal.
  188.
  189. You practically skipped out the castle's front gates. You had to force yourself from appearing too happy though. With the pony you've declared your undying love to time and time again missing, it would be suspicious of you to be dancing in the streets. You made your way to the fancy restaurant in good time. Naturally they weren't happy about having to cook a 3 course meal so close to closing time. It didn't stop them from taking your generous "donation" for the extra work, even if they were still a bit grumpy.
  190.
  191. As you made your way to the nearest tunnel entrance your heart raced. If things went well, this could be the first day of the rest of your new life with your Cellybean. You decided to take a quick detour to retrieve the special outfit you found in her closet. You wanted to be prepared in case the date went better than just well. You doubted that she was the kind of mare to put out on the first date, but it never hurts to dream. You made sure to hide the outfit before entering the cave. She would probably still be mad at you for the bathroom thing, so you didn't want to admit to rooting around her closet just yet. You also made your way back to the wine cellar to pick up the nicest bottle of white wine you could find.
  192.
  193. "I'm back my darling sunshine! I got us the best dinner I could afford for our date too, isn't that nice?"
  194.
  195. She opted not to answer, not that she could through the gag. She simply sat there staring daggers at you. You figured she'd still be mad at you but this is just getting hurtful. You decide some flattery might be in order before you start your little date. You set the food on the table and make your way to the bed. Taking a seat as close to her as you can, you begin to scratch behind her ear.
  196.
  197. "C'mon honey, I know the bathroom thing was embarrassing, but I HAD to do it. I can't trust you on your own just yet, you might try to run."
  198.
  199. At first she simply huffed and refused to look at you. After a short bit her body started to betray her. Despite how hard she was trying to ignore you, she sighed a bit. You could feel her straining to fight it, but eventually she started to lean into your hand. Unfortunately for the both of you, you couldn't do this all day. As you pulled your hand away she tried to follow it.
  200.
  201. Coming back to her senses, however, she realized what she was doing. She huffed again and turned away from you. As she did, you couldn't help but notice her face turning a bit redder than usual. As pissed at you as she may be, you could tell she really enjoyed that. You make a mental note to remember that trick in case you need to calm her down in the future. You quickly started to set the table and place the food on it.
  202.
  203. You were very eager to get this date underway to say the least. You put two plates down at opposite ends of the table. Then you placed the utensils beside them. You've been dreaming of this for so long now that you've memorized the proper placement for each of them. You've taken many, many fine dining classes in preparation for this day. You know what each fork, spoon and knife is by heart.
  204.
  205. You finish setting up the table and drag over the record player. Throwing on the new Octavia record and setting the volume to low. The deep tones of the cello created an ambient atmosphere of class. Despite the fact that this was a cold, dark cave it could have been a fancy eatery in it's own right. You could see that the pincess looked perplexed by this whole thing.
  206.
  207. "What? I told you we were going to have a fancy dinner date."
  208.
  209. The look on her face tells you that she's nowhere near as excited for this as you are. Even if it's only for a moment, you can tell she's a bit impressed by this. It hurts you a bit to think it, but you figure she hasn't paid enough attention to know you're this fancy. The sadness quickly fades however, that's what this date is fork after all. You want to give her the chance to really get to know you. You carefully untie her from the bed, making sure that she wouldn't be able to run. You take her over to the table and tie her to her chair, leaving her front legs untied so she can eat.
  210.
  211. You undo the princess's gag and set it aside for now. She still refuses to look at you, let alone speak to you. You uncover the dishes and take your seat across from her.
  212.
  213. "Bon apatite my love"
  214.
  215. "I'm not hungry"
  216.
  217. Just then her stomach growled, betraying her. She sighed and started putting food onto her plate. Your surprised at her lack of table manners. She uses whatever utensil she wants regardless of what their proper use is.
  218.
  219. "That's a salad fork you know" you say, pointing to the fork she's using to eat a fancy baked potato.
  220.
  221. "I don't care" she replies around a mouthful of potato.
  222.
  223. "For a princess, your manners leave a lot to be desired"
  224.
  225. "Says the kidnapper"
  226.
  227. You lose your composure a bit at that, "I LOVE YOU!! Ahem, and maybe I wouldn't have had to kidnap you if you had given me a chance."
  228.
  229. "Oh please, look at me, then look at you. We could NEVER be together."
  230.
  231. "Well why not?"
  232.
  233. "Are you kidding me? I'm a princess, and you're…well look at you, there's no way I'd ever stoop to dating someone so…lowly."
  234.
  235. "lowly?"
  236.
  237. "yes, you aren't a prince, nor are you nobility, or rich, or even the same species, you know, the important things."
  238.
  239. "Really? THOSE are the important things about a man to you?"
  240.
  241. "NO, those are the important things in a STALLION for me."
  242.
  243. "I can't believe how shallow you are."
  244.
  245. "I'm the leader of an entire country, Anon, I think I'm entitled to be picky about my mates, or as you call it, 'being shallow'."
  246.
  247. "One, you are the CO ruler of Equestria, Luna puts in her fair share of work too, and two, you can't just deny someone the chance to be with you off the bat simply because the don't meet your ridiculous standards."
  248.
  249. "Ahahaha, oh Anon, Luna would run this country into the ground in a year, I had to manage it for 1,000 so I think you'll find that Luna does little more than raising the moon. As for refusing you the chance simply because you don't meet my standards, I think you'll find that I not only CAN, but that I DID."
  250.
  251.
  252. "Oh my god…I can't believe I wasted years on someone so…horrible, no wonder you're sister tried to take over."
  253.
  254. "Aww, I'm sorry that I'm not you're deluded definition of perfect, maybe next time you'll look into someone better before deciding to start stalking them. To be honest though, out of the two of us, Luna was always the more pathetic, that's why she failed to beat me."
  255.
  256. "You're disgusting."
  257.
  258. "Really? I thought you were just saying how much you loved me."
  259.
  260. "I don't see how ANYONE could love something so shallow and cruel as you, I don't even know how I managed to fall for you like I did."
  261.
  262. "I thought that would be obvious, your tiny primate brain saw that I was gorgeous, and wanted the pretty thing."
  263.
  264. "I don't have to take this, I'm leaving, this dinner is over. Enjoy trying to sleep in that chair you bitch."
  265.
  266. "Aww, is the little monkey baby going to go cry just because I didn't suck his deformed little monkey dick on the first date?"
  267.
  268. You didn't bother to dignify her with a response as you got up and left. You could hardly believe it, you spent years trying to win her over. She's exactly like the celebrities back home, shallow and vain. But maybe…maybe she's just a bit stressed out, maybe her current situation is bringing out the worst in her. You decide that you'll have to find something that will tell you how she really is. It may be getting late but you decide to head back to her room to look for whatever you can find.
  269.
  270. Scouring the room turns up nothing. There were no letters she had kept, nor any kind of diary that you could read. The only place that you haven't checked is that locked drawer. You think for a bit about how you could get in there. There was no key in the room, and even if you cut the padlock off, there's still the regular drawer lock. Just then, something occurs to you, Luna, she might be able to help you get it open. You decide that as soon as you can catch her when she's not busy you'll ask her to open the drawer for you.
  271.
  272. It shouldn't be hard to convince her, after all, that drawer might hold some clue about her sister's whereabouts. You'll have to cross your fingers though, anything at all could be in there. After standing up from examining the locks again, it hits you just how tired you are. That dinner took a lot out of you emotionally, and for right now you just want to sleep. As you shamble back to your room you wonder, if Celly really is such a bitch, then how did she treat Luna as they grew up? You don't know much other than that Luna tried to take over, but there has to have been a reason for that.
  273.
  274. It takes a while at your sullen pace, but you eventually reach your room. You don't even bother to shut the door as you make your way to your bed. The only thing on your mind was flopping down on your mattress, hopefully to wake up to find that today was just a bad dream. You can't even find the energy to get undressed before allowing yourself to fall to the soft cushioning of the bed. As you feel yourself drifting off to sleep, you hear the distinct sound of hooves clacking against the floor. As the approaching pony gets closer you lift yourself up to see who it is.
  275.
  276. "Hello Anonymous, we wanted to see how you were doing since our sister's disappearance, we knew you were…infatuated with her."
  277.
  278. "Huh? Oh, hey Luna…Sorry, but would you mind coming back later? It's been a long day and I just want to sleep…"
  279.
  280. "We are sorry to hear that…we have been quite busy trying to run the country…we know tomorrow will be much the same as today, but we shall clear some time for you, our dear friend."
  281.
  282. "Thanks Luna…Oh hey, before you go…I was looking for clues in your sister's room, I couldn't really find anything, but there was this one desk drawer…"
  283.
  284. "The one with a padlock in addition to the regular lock?"
  285.
  286. "yeah, I think we should check in there for clues, it seems like something important is in there.'
  287.
  288. "Y-yeah…we will be sure to check there when we have time…goodnight Anonymous."
  289.
  290. "Night Luna, thanks for the concern."
  291.
  292. With that, the princess of the night takes her leave. You feel a bit bad about blowing her off, but at this point you're too tired even for friends. You finally feel sleep taking you, ending this terrible day. You wake up to a bright and sunny day, and as you get up you can feel that it'll be a great one. You get up and get dressed to head out to breakfast. Arriving at the royal dinning room, you see something you weren't prepared for.
  293.
  294. There, sitting at the table eating an oversized stack of pancakes, is none other than princess Celestia. You panic a bit, how could she have escaped? Was it because you left her in that chair instead of securing her to the bed properly? Your mind races as the princess looks up at you from her pancakes. She's still chewing so she simply opts to smile at you. You find this a bit off putting, why is she smiling like that?
  295.
  296. You take a minute to calm yourself down. She hasn't vaporized you yet…that's gotta be good…right? You try to take deep breaths as covertly as you can. It's strange, but when you look at her, that smile almost seems…genuine? As far as you can tell there's no malice behind it, and that scares you a bit. Finally, she finishes chewing the wad of pancakes so she can speak with you.
  297.
  298. "Good morning Anonymous! I hope you slept well." she says cheerily.
  299.
  300. "Uh…y-yeah I did…"
  301.
  302. "What's wrong Anon? You seem nervous."
  303.
  304. "I…how…did you…escape?"
  305.
  306. "Escape? Escape what Anon?"
  307.
  308. "The cave…the one I…had you tied up in…"
  309.
  310. "I don't remember being tied up in a cave…It must have been a dream, albeit a disturbing one."
  311.
  312. "But it felt so…"
  313.
  314. "Real? Dreams can feel that way sometimes Anon, just ask my sister" she says, pointing to Luna, who you're not sure how you didn't see.
  315.
  316. Something definitely felt wrong here. Was Luna always there? You don't think she was… Were you finally losing it? You could have sworn you had carried Celly to a cave, and tied her to a bed down there. It felt so real…but so does this. You can't really be sure what, but something is wrong here.
  317.
  318. You shake your head to clear away all the conflicting thoughts and memories. It's too early to be worrying about something like this. For now you'll get some breakfast, and see if things don't become clearer as time goes on. Even as you ate though, things seemed…off. You shake off the thought and go back to your food. Things progress without incident, just another normal breakfast with the princess sisters.
  319.
  320. The strange thing is that Celestia seems a lot more affectionate than usual. You seem to remember that being different. You think that she usually sat further away from you. You can't help but ask about it.
  321.
  322. "Hey, does something seem…off, to you?"
  323.
  324. "What do you mean?"
  325.
  326. "I don't know…it just feels like something is wrong here."
  327.
  328. "Oh Anon, nothing's wrong here, I'm just sharing breakfast with my favorite human!" with that she inches closer to you.
  329.
  330. That's…not right, is it? Was she always like this? You can't quite remember…but you don't think so. You want to ignore these feelings and enjoy Celly being so close to you. You lean in close to her and sigh. Finally, after what feels like years, she finally sees you the way you've always dreamed of.
  331.
  332. Suddenly, out of the blue, she's asked you to attend a formal dance as her date. You swiftly agree, and the two of you hug. You're so excited, it feels like the rest of your life, the one with Celly by your side, has only just begun. The time between breakfast and the dance flies by. You feel like, there are bits of it missing from your memory though. Again you decide to ignore the feelings. Celestia finally want's to be with you, and that's all that matters. But…didn't she always want to be with you? Why do you feel like that's not true?
  333.
  334. You arrive at the dance with your arm around Celly. It feels so good to be together like this with her. You're a bit surprised that she'd want your first date to be at something like this, but you don't care. It's just good for her to finally be giving you this chance. Wait, finally? No you two were always talking about getting together, right?
  335.
  336. At the dance you see all kinds of noble ponies, each smiling happily at you. They all seem to be wordlessly congratulating you on having the princess as your date. Then you notice something odd, Luna. She seems to have come by herself, but the odd thing is that she seems to be watching you closely. As she notices you looking at her, she quickly looks away. You're not sure but you think you can see a bit of red on her cheeks.
  337.
  338. You're about to go over and talk to her, when suddenly, Celestia drags you away to dance. It's a nice slow dance, you get to hold her close, feeling her warmth and scent around you. If there's a heaven, you've already found it in this mare. As you're dancing, you spot Luna again. She's a bit far away, but she looks…jealous? Again, as she sees you looking at her, she pretends to have not been staring.
  339.
  340. There's a pit in your stomach telling you that something isn't right. You feel like you should go talk to her, but you can't tear yourself away from celly. The rest of the dance continues in a similar pattern. Every time you see Luna, you get the feeling that something isn't right here. Why is she watching you like that? You don't remember her staring at you that way before…do you?
  341.
  342. Suddenly, the band stops playing, and the lights focus on you. The princess gets down in front of you. She looks up at you and says something you never thought you'd hear.
  343.
  344. "Anonymous the human, will you marry me?"
  345.
  346. As you open your mouth to respond, you hear something. You feel something pressing against you, it's soft and fluffy. You open your eyes to see that you're laying in bed. Wait, what? No, that can't be, you were just at a dance…weren't you? Rubbing your eyes, you get up. You walk to the bathroom and splash some water in your face.
  347.
  348. Slowly, everything comes back to you. The years of Celly laughing at you. The gnawing obsession to get her to love you. That feeling of euphoria you got when you lifted her up and held her close. That excitement you felt when she woke up. That anger you felt when she turned out to be a bit of a bitch.
  349.
  350. There's a pit in your stomach again, but this one's different. This time, it's the feeling that this is reality making you uncomfortable. You feel sick when you think about the fact that this is real life…This IS real life, right? You decide that you should probably double check, that dream felt real too. You venture back into your room to get dressed, you need to find Luna.
  351.
  352. As you make your way to the throne room, you keep an eye out. That dream felt so real, and you're still hoping that it was. You ignore the busy ponies rushing in and out of the throne room. The search for Celestia was still going strong. Luckily for you, It seems like they're no closer to finding her either. Unluckily for you, you're not even sure if you still want her. The way she talked about her own sister makes your blood boil.
  353.
  354. How could she feel that way about her own flesh and blood? You've heard that things weren't always great between them, but still. Though, you never really spent much time with Luna. Most of your time up until now has been spent on Celestia, and how you could get her to love you. Maybe Luna isn't as innocent as you want to think? You shake your head to clear your thoughts, you'll ask about their history later.
  355.
  356. Arriving at the throne room you see Luna giving orders to the guard. You're surprised to see that she looks pretty calm for someone thrust into the role of leading a country solo. She glances at you briefly as she relays orders to the guard leading a search party. Shortly after she dismisses the guard pone and he's off. She turns to you, a completely neutral look on her face. The look making you feel uneasy, you finally speak to her.
  357.
  358. "H-hey Luna…how's it going?"
  359.
  360. "Anonymous, things are going well." she says flatly.
  361.
  362. "Well that's good…do you have time to talk?"
  363.
  364. "Hmm…well we are quite busy…but we suppose a moment could be spared for thee."
  365.
  366. "T-thanks, I wanted to ask you about dreams."
  367.
  368. "Yes, as princess of the night, we know all about dreams." she says with a tiny bit of edge to her voice.
  369.
  370. "Yeah…anyways, you know how dreams can feel really real sometimes? Well, how can you tell if your in one of those dreams or not?"
  371.
  372. She gives you a deadpan look, "Really Anonymous? That's one of the most common pieces of knowledge about dreaming. You get someone to pinch you, and if it hurts, thou art awake."
  373.
  374. "Oh…could you pinch me then?"
  375.
  376. She doesn't say a word as her horn lights up and a glow appears on your arm. Almost immediately you feel your arm being pinched. You've never had anyone do this to you before, but you're almost certain that this is too hard. Your eyes even tear up a little from it. Soon after, she stops, leaving you to wipe your eyes and rub your arm.
  377.
  378. "There? Convinced you're awake?"
  379.
  380. "Yeah, but did you have to pinch so hard?"
  381.
  382. "Yes, now doth thou need anything else, or are thou done wasting our time?" she said coolly.
  383.
  384. "Uh… is everything ok? You seem mad at me."
  385.
  386. "Maybe we seem mad at you, because we are mad at you."
  387.
  388. "Ok…but why are you mad at me? What did I do?"
  389.
  390. "You know exactly what you did, Anonymous." she said with a huff.
  391.
  392. "No…I really don't…please, tell me what I did."
  393.
  394. She seems to open her mouth to say something, but stops. Suddenly she seems to realize something. Her face turns a bit red and she looks away from you.
  395.
  396. "We are sorry Anonymous…we fear that we may have let our temper get the better of us…"
  397.
  398. "Hey don't worry about it, ruling a country is hard work, it's understandable that you might be a bit agitated."
  399.
  400. Her face becomes even more red at your kind words. "I-it's just…we are sorry, Anonymous…we were not thinking clearly."
  401.
  402. "I already said that I forgive you Luna, I'm not mad at you or anything."
  403.
  404. "We thank you for your forgiveness Anonymous. Now, was there anything else we could help you with?"
  405.
  406. "Actually, I wanted to see if you had time to open that locked drawer in your sister's room."
  407.
  408. "O-oh…s-sorry but not at the moment, no…"
  409.
  410. "Maybe later then?"
  411.
  412. "Y-yes…later…" (last)
  413.
  414. She seems a bit nervous, whatever's in that drawer must be something important. You feel that you've taken enough of Luna's time for now. Unfortunately, you left Celestia ungagged, and you don't want to have to listen to her right now. You decide against going to visit her, but that means you need something else to do. Wracking your brain for a few minutes, you try to think of something. Just when it seems that there's nothing, it hits you.
  415.
  416. You make your way to the castle's extensive library. It should have exactly the books you need. They'll be hard to find, since you're not terribly well versed in how ponies organize their books. You arrive to the large wooden doors, they look extremely old and heavy. Luckily, the door is lighter than it's appearance would lead you to think. As the door glides open, you're greeted by the sight of hundreds of thousands of books. The oldest of the books probably being thousands of years old.
  417.
  418. You spend hours parsing through ancient, dusty tomes. Eventually time catches up with you. You look at the clock in the library to find that it's been 5 hours. Getting up from your chair you stretch, joints popping as you do. After marking your place, you close the book you were reading. You decide that it would probably be best to go get something to eat. You've never been one to eat breakfast, and in all the reading, you forgot about lunch.
  419.
  420. On your way, you think about the princess you have locked away in that cave. You sigh and decide that even though she pissed you off, you still need to take care of her. First thing's first though, you need to take care of yourself. Entering the dining hall, you see that Luna is already here too. You're still wondering why she was so mad at you earlier. Clearing your head of the thoughts, you take a seat across from her.
  421.
  422. "Hey Luna."
  423.
  424. "Greetings Anonymous, we are glad to see that you could join us for lunch" she says cheerily
  425.
  426. "Yeah, I was doing some reading earlier and completely lost track of time."
  427.
  428. "Ah, we too enjoy a good book, pray tell, what were you reading?"
  429.
  430. "Non-fiction, mostly history, I've been here 2 years and never bothered to learn the place's history."
  431.
  432. "O-oh…"
  433.
  434. "Something wrong Luna?"
  435.
  436. "N-no…it's nothing Anonymous…"
  437.
  438. "You sure? Something seems to be bothering you."
  439.
  440. "Just…drop it…please."
  441.
  442. You get up and walk over to her. Crouching down, you pull her into a hug. She's quite stiff and surprised at first, but eventually gives in to the hug. You pull back and look her in the eyes.
  443.
  444. "Now please, tell me what's wrong."
  445.
  446. "It's just…history is a painful topic for us…"
  447.
  448. "Ah, I see, I heard about the fight you and Celestia had that ended up with you trapped on the moon."
  449.
  450. "H-how much do you know about it?"
  451.
  452. "Only the little bits that I've heard, so not much really, just that you ended up on the moon because of it."
  453.
  454. She sighs with relief, and suddenly she's wrapped you up in a tight hug. It would be nice…but you can't really breathe. Tapping her a bit gets her attention, and she lets go of you. She blushes a bit and looks off to the side.
