A crime boss tries to make off with loot that belongs to another thief.
After a botched heist, Eddie (Bruce Willis), a murderous crime boss, hunts down the seductive thief Karen (Claire Forlani) who failed him. In order to win back Eddie's trust, Karen recruits her ex-lover and premier thief Jack (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) to steal a cargo of rare precious gems. But when the job goes down, allegiances are betrayed and lines are crossed as Jack, Karen, and Eddie face off in a fateful showdown. Lionsgate Premiere will release the action thriller in theaters and on demand on April 22, 2016.
I know I am going to struggle to write enough lines about this movie because it is just bad, end of! Most others on here have said pretty much what I would have but I want to say I agree with them that this is one of the worst movies ever. I watched it on DVD and found myself fast forwarding in the hope it might get better. It didn&#39;t.<br/><br/>I suppose this movie shows that no matter how good actors think they are, it is all about a good script and good direction, of which this film has neither.<br/><br/>Regarding the so called script, do people really swear that much? I sure don&#39;t hear that level of profanity but if it really is that bad then what a sad world we live in. Truth is I think the script writers couldn&#39;t think of enough different words to use.<br/><br/>It does prove one thing though. Bruce Willis is one of the most over rated actors ever.
Boy, did wisecracks degenerate pretty severely since Die Hard and the good ol &#39;90s. This faceplant reeks of cheap thrills, direct-to-DVD actors and, of course, a 150 year old Bruce Willis. I&#39;m about 2/3 into the movie and I&#39;ve already forgotten half of the plot. Mark-Paul Gosselaar, the Michelangelo of Thieves apparently, acts with the kind of confidence only a guy who thinks Wakeboarding is an extreme sport would. And did I mention every girlfriend is a sniper? Granted, no adults were involved in the making of &#39;Precious Cargo&#39;, or it wouldn&#39;t have been made at all. This train wreck is what happens when subpar directors try to make movies for millennials – the most unlikely-to-happen plot in the universe right now.
Precious Cargo isn’t actually as objectionable as your average petrol-station-bargain-bin thriller, thanks to one or two half-decent lines, a plot that vaguely makes sense and an unexpected dearth of outright misogyny. It’s still pretty rubbish, though.
