- Fry up around 8 slices of bacon (for 2 people) in your cast iron pan.
- Put one saucepan of boiling water on for pasta. Put in around half a bag of pasta (200-250g I guess).
- While that's going, in a different saucepan make a roux with around a half cup of butter and 3-4 tablespoons of flour. Grate a bunch of cheese (maybe a handful or so) and set it aside. Add a cup of milk to the roux and take it to just under a boil until it's thickened, whisking the whole time.
- When it's just about boiling, add the cheese and stir. Your sauce should be pretty thick and creamy with nice cheese flavour.
- Drain your pasta, add it to the roux saucepan, mix well and top with bacon.
- Enjoy!
