  1. Repair kits can be used in combat witht heir original intended purpose of restoring HP, and outside of combat they represent a conversion kit. Repair/conversion kits represent a collection of tools and materials used to either repair a mech or change its loadout.
  2.
  3. Outside of combat, repair kits can be used to regain structure points. This operation requires 8 hours of downtime, unless stated otherwise.
  4.
  5. For this set-up, the Lancaster's Combat Repair trait requires 2 Repair Kits instead of 4. In addition, it gains a number of Repair Kits equal to the pilot's Engineering score to be used by it or its allies. These Repair Kits only apply during combat.
  6.
  7. If you are changing your frame, you may recycle your current frame to gain conversion kits, which go towards the new one. To calculate the conversion kits you receive from your recycled mech, multiply the remaining structure points you have by the size of your current mech.
  8. The creation of a new mech requires the same amount of conversion kits as the conversion kits it would receive from being recycled. The ratios are as follows:
  9. Size 1/2- 2 Kits
  10. Size 1- 4 Kits
  11. Size 2- 8 Kits
  12. Size 3- 12 Kits
  13. In the case of the Fomorian Frame Core Bonus, you do not need to pay any extra kits.
  14.
  15. A similar ratio applies to weapons and systems. If you wish to swap out your loadout, you may recycle and reuse kits in the following ratios-
  16. Aux Weapons- 1/2 Kits
  17. Main Weapons- 1 Kit
  18. Heavy/Superheavy Weapons- 2 Kits
  19. Systems- 1 Kit
  20. If a system has evidence that it does not require any physical modifications, such as those that grant Tech actions, they do not require any kits.
  21.
  22. Because they represent metal and other resources for mechs, kits can be gained from enemy or captured units. A destroyed unit has the following odds of being scavenged for however many kits-
  23. Size 1 25% 1 Kit
  24. Size 2 25% 1d3 Kits
  25. Size 3 25% 1d6 Kits, 50% 1d3 Kits
  26. If a unit is captured in a state of only being partially damaged, or not at all, it may be recycled for the number of kits as indicated on the Mech conversion chart above.
