Fallout 3 Guide:

This guide is what I've used for FO3 and so far it's been pretty stable. I've only froze twice from alt-tabbing out and then back into the game. I am also unable to enter the Springvale Sewers or Vault 106 due to the mod FCO. If you don't want to use FCO then you should have no issues.

That's it, if you followed this guide and installed everything you should be at 55 esps/esms. Hopefully it works for you cause it works on my machine™. Don't forget to sort your load order via LOOT, you should also run the FOSE launcher in compatibility mode for Windows XP.
