  1. -----------------------CHANGELOG V2.2-----------------------------
  2.
  3. I'll try add the reasoning for most of these too, feel free to ignore them but it might help give you an idea of how the balance team handles the subjects. Most of the time these were done with specific matchups in mind, but the small descriptions I give here should give a general idea.
  4.
  5. COSMETIC CHANGES:
  6. - Grammar error in Kutaka's dex entry has been fixed.
  7. - Saki's dex entry is not as bland anymore.
  8. - Open eyes Miko is now an alt color instead of the main one.
  9. - Yorigami now has a solo Shion outfit (alt color). Rejoice Shion fans, your voice has been heard
  10. - Tan Cirno (alt color)
  11. - Yuyuko with legs alt (alt color).
  12. - SoEW final phase Mima outfit (alt color)
  13. - Always serious Yukari (alt color)
  14. - Shinki's eye color for the alt outfit and the base outfit has been changed back to red.
  15. - Queen Shinki outfit (alt color)
  16. - Slight Okina idle animation fix (one of her flames didn't move properly on every frame)
  17. - Joon's leg in base Yorigami's outfit is now 1 px thicker than before
  18. - OVERWORLD SPRITES
  19.
  20. BALANCE CHANGES:
  21. Adjustments first, reworks are at the bottom. The reasoning is written below the full changes.
  22.
  23.
  24. -------------ADJUSTMENTS-------------
  25.
  26. NYorigami
  27. -Yang Energy
  28. +Yin Energy
  29. For some reason they learned Yang Energy twice at level 1. It was supposed to be Yin/Yang.
  30.
  31. PYorigami
  32. +Purgatory Flicker (Lvl 70)
  33. Burn Strike alone lacked the punch to make her threatening for anything that resists the Heavenly Ascent.
  34.
  35. DYorigami
  36. -Thunderlord's Scorn
  37. -Thunder Force
  38. She loses the electric moves as they are superb coverage (that don't even make sense for her to have them) so she can be more reliant on her other moves, such as Poison Bomb.
  39.
  40. EYorigami
  41. Full Power -> Reckless
  42. -15 HP
  43. -5 SpAtk
  44. +10 FoDef
  45. +10 SpDef
  46. The damage output with the high power recoil moves stays the same but now if you decide to not use those you will not have to pay any HP anymore. It also helps her not being as glassy anymore.
  47.
  48. AEternity
  49. -Changeling
  50. -Lightning Speed
  51. -Moon's Reflection
  52. -Inferno
  53. -Bewitching Pollen
  54. +Decrescendo (Lvl 56)
  55. She lacked something that really makes her assist-y and we didn't have a single new Decrescendo user in the mod, so therefore she gets it now. Most of the cuts are just unnecessary moves but the loss in Pollen is only fair considering she now gets one of the best skills in the game.
  56.
  57. NNemuno
  58. -GIGANTIC
  59. Necessary change so GIGANTIC could be removed from Extra (Read ENemuno)
  60.
  61. PNemuno
  62. -25 Fo Def
  63. -5 SpAtk
  64. +10 Hp
  65. +5 FoAtk
  66. +5 SDef
  67. +10 Speed
  68. Her stat repart got minmaxed a bit further so she gets more out of her Battle Preparation.
  69.
  70. ENemuno
  71. -In Sync
  72. -GIGANTIC
  73. +Intuition
  74. Instead of getting beaten by Warped puppets she was perfectly capable of beating them herself reliably. It was a bit much considering her type combo's natural counter would be Warped. She still does get Brave Burst to hit them, but KOing bulkier Warpeds will now be much harder and the duel will be much riskier.
  75.
  76. PAunn
  77. -10 SpAtk
  78. +10 FoAtk
  79. She needed to hit slightly harder.
  80.
  81. EAunn
  82. +5 HP
  83. Her BST was wrong. Therefore she gets 5 HP now to be on par with her other styles.
  84.
  85. SNarumi
  86. -10 FoAtk
  87. -5 FoDef
  88. +15 HP
  89. She was unable to take almost any attack so now she gets some HP to help her out with it.
  90.
  91. ENarumi
  92. -Brave Song
  93. -GIGANTIC
  94. -Cold Rain
  95. +Frozen Prison
  96. +Sun's Protection (Lvl 63)
  97. The initial idea for her was to be a super threat under Calm but thanks to Brave song and superior coverage she ended up as a plain upgrade to SMarisa as well. Now she is forced to setup under Calm if she wants the +2 compared to before and will have a harder time to hit puppets that don't instantly die from her stabs as well.
  98.
  99. NTeireida
  100. -Merry Dance
  101. -Air Stamp
  102. +Butterfly's Flit
  103.
  104. ATeireida
  105. -Air Stamp
  106. -Foehn Winds
  107. -Hallucination
  108. -15 FoAtk
  109. +10 FoDef
  110. +5 Speed
  111.
  112. Curiosity Near-Death Event on top of 110 Fo Atk turned her from her supposedly assisting role into a priority STAB spamming powerhouse. Air Stamp got removed so people don't run a hazards team with Teireida spamming priority Air Stamps during Continue turns with Unconscious Mind.
  113.
  114. NSatono
  115. -Merry Dance
  116. -Air Stamp
  117. +Butterfly's Flit
  118.
  119. ASatono
  120. -Air Stamp
  121. -Macroburst
  122. -15 SpAtk
  123. +10 SpDef
  124. +5 Speed
  125. Same reason as ATeireida. Also loses Gravity Blast for level up (Still learns it as a Skill Card though).
  126.
  127. SSatono
  128. +Force Shield
  129. Now you can run a meme set with Force Shield and Chaos Induction.
  130.
  131. ESatono
  132. +10 FoDef
  133. She had 10 BST less than her other forms.
  134.
  135. NOkina
  136. -10 HP
  137. -10 Speed
  138. +10 FoAtk
  139. I messed up her BST. Like this she had even more than Shinki.
  140.
  141. AOkina
  142. She is now called Power Okina.
  143. -Squall
  144. Same as the Assist Dancers, the combo of Continue + Unconscious Mind + Squall is very obnoxious, especially on a puppet as bulky as this one.
  145.
  146. EOkina
  147. -Affinity Twist
  148. -10 HP
  149. -10 Speed
  150. -Catastrophe
  151. -Distortion Bomb
  152. -Dense Fog Bloom
  153. -St. Elmo's Fire
  154. -Impulse
  155. -Stealth Kill
  156. -Field Break
  157. -Unknown Flare
  158. -Mysterious Wave
  159. -Luscious Whisper
  160. -Irreversible Trick
  161. -Thunderlord’s Scorn
  162. -Glamor Pandemic
  163. +15 FoAtk
  164. +5 FoDef
  165. +Skilled Hand
  166. +Pride
  167. +Crossbow Assault (Lvl 36)
  168. +Perfect Aim (Lvl 70)
  169. +Conflagration (Lvl 63)
  170. +Spirit Rush (Lvl 42)
  171. These are so many changes she might as well be a rework at this point. I think everyone is aware of how much of a problem this Okina was. Having no weaknesses and a resistance against one of the most common attacking types in the game, on top of having a STAB Overrun/Danmaku Dance that hits every type for neutral and Light/Dark even for super effective. Plus it was nigh-impossible to revenge kill her too because of her humongous stats. Now she will go back to how she was planned to be like in the first place: A very menacing Void type wallbreaker that can bypass resistances but gets walled by Illusion types. Well, she can still hit them for neutral with her non STABs but those aren't as effective without a Brave Song boost. She also lost a bit of bulk and Speed to get revenge killed easier.
  172.
  173. EEika
  174. Rework, check further below for details.
  175.
  176. NUrumi
  177. -GIGANTIC
  178. -Poison Bomb
  179. -Flashover
  180. Necessary changes for the other Urumis.
  181.
  182. PUrumi
  183. -Poison Bomb
  184. +Dark Sweets
  185. Now her coverage option will be harder to pick. Flashover doesn't deal as much damage as the Poison Bomb does to Natures but it still finishes the job. Dark Sweets is there as a compensation so she can hit Light types better instead.
  186.
  187. DUrumi
  188. +5 FoDef
  189. The BST issue again.
  190.
  191. EUrumi
  192. Rework, check further below for details.
  193.
  194. AKutaka
  195. -20 Speed
  196. -Sharp Wind
  197. +10 HP
  198. +10 SDef
  199. +Phase Inversion (Lvl 56)
  200. Despite being an Assist puppet she didn't do much Assist-y stuff. These changes are to ensure she will do better at her role to assist the team by shutting down threats with Phase Inversion and Drought.
  201.
  202. SKutaka
  203. Rework, check further below for changes.
  204.
  205. EKutaka
  206. -Forest Therapy
  207. +Perch
  208. +Thor's Hammer
  209. +St.Elmo's Fire
  210. This one has a bit of a history. Originally, before the TH 16 puppets got added in, EKutaka was pretty powerful. Access to both Perch, Forest Therapy, quite respectable attack with high BP moves and 2 really good abilities to go with those turned out to be a bit much. Then V2 hit and she got stripped off all her tools and ended up quite horrible. There wasn't much she could do in a battle aside from taking down the opponent with Call of the Dead, which others also would do much better than her. So this time she got some of her tools back but got the Therapy stripped off her.
  211.
  212. NYachie
  213. -Poison Bomb
  214. -Flashover
  215. -Thermit
  216. Necessary changes for the Defense style
  217.
  218. PYachie
  219. +Grace of Mana
  220. The Slow Tempo set doesn't really work without it, so now she can have her recovery.
  221.
  222. DYachie
  223. -10 Speed
  224. -Flashover
  225. -Poison Bomb
  226. -Thermit
  227. +10 Fo Atk
  228. +Fire Wall (Lvl 70)
  229. +Smash Spin
  230. She loses 10 Speed to be more consistent with her Jamming set. This way she can swap in and still reliably enable safe switches for your sweepers with Changeling. She also gets Fire Wall and Smash Spin now as further support options. Loses the Poison Bomb though to discourage the use of an offensive set and the ability to check various puppets that would otherwise die to the Poison bomb (such as herself lol).
  231.
  232. DMayumi
  233. -Heavenly Ascent
  234. +First Aid (Lvl 1)
  235. +Reckless Dive (Lvl 70)
  236. +Lightning Cut
  237. Heavenly Ascent and lack of recovery really did her role no good at all, therefore those have been adjusted. Lightning Cut is there now so she can effectively punish Decrescendos.
  238.
  239. SMayumi
  240. Rework, check further below for changes.
  241.
  242. AKeiki
  243. -10 FoDef
  244. Unlike the other puppets with wrong BST, she actually had too much BST.
  245.
  246. EKeiki
  247. Wind -> Electric
  248. -Twister
  249. -Flying Frenzy
  250. -Foehn Winds
  251. -Spinning Air
  252. +Graze Bolt (Lvl 1)
  253. +Lightning Cut (Lvl 42)
  254. +Thor's Hammer (Lvl 70)
  255. +Thunderlord's Scorn
  256. +Thunder Force
  257. She was just a wallbreaker version of EReimu but with Sand Foce instead of Strange Rainbow. The type change helps her be different while also accomplishing similar things she did before.
  258.
  259. NSaki
  260. -Changeling
  261. -Lightning Speed
  262.
  263. PSaki
  264. Rework, check further below for changes.
  265.
  266. ESaki
  267. -10 HP
  268. -5 SpDef
  269. -Pride
  270. -Smash Spin
  271. -GIGANTIC
  272. -Stealth Trap
  273. -Near Death Event
  274. +10 FoAtk
  275. +5 SpAtk
  276. +Impulsive
  277. +Bind Trap (Lvl 1)
  278. +Dark Sweets
  279. +Thunder Veil (Lvl 63)
  280. ESaki turned out to be way more powerful than initially planned. With her stat spread and strong offensive typing she was capable to 1v1 almost every puppet reliably and still be able to heal up afterwards. Her access to Pride also made her extremely frightening for any defensive team to even think about throwing out a status move. On top of that she was able to control hazards extremely well thanks to her access to both Smash Spin and Stealth Trap. Also having access to GIGANTIC made her take care of her checks quite easily. The crazy bulk with STAB Lightning Speed also made her a super powerful pivot (which was also capable of baiting Earth switch-ins to instantly kill those with the GIGANTIC too). Now her role is a lot clearer in mainly beating aggressive teams with her Speed control tools or just being a support for offensive teams herself.
  281.

  463. She suffered from a similar problem as EKutaka, on top of being in the very massive pool of new water puppets. There was also the sudden idea I got about her ability to stack stones well (Salvo + Godstone Frenzy) so I wanted to make that a thing too. This is the product of those thoughts.

  634. There were 2 problems with the original EUrumi: The first being that she was yet another Water puppet and the second is that everyone hates Toxapex with a passion and even though I tried to ruin it, people still hated it. It was also quite bland with how I ruined it, so it was better to just make a new Urumi set from scratch. This one was made to beat some of the common answers to a lot of the new puppets on top of being quite unique on its own by being the only Offensive Trance puppet that has a chance to save itself from Phase Inversion. She still has to run max Speed investment to do what she needs to do and is forced to run a Purify Charm so she can hit hard with Poison moves. The alternative to that would be a surprise Wishpasser set.

  832. Technically there was absolutely nothing wrong with the old SKutaka, she was fun to use, plenty strong, quite unique and pretty solid. However, similar to the Eika and Urumi, there is way too much Water represented in TH 17 and she got checked by the same puppets as almost any other new puppets. This SKutaka however is capable of beating those and brings the (In this mod) underrepresented types Sound and Warped to the table. She also sets herself apart from the existing Sound/Warped puppets by fulfilling a vastly different role as them as a spread sweeper/anti-stall puppet.

1013. Aside from Nemuno we had no new Steel puppets in this patch, even though Steel fits Mayumi a lot. On top of that the new Speed tiers were also quite low all around. The old Mayumi's unique gimmick was also barely used (Iron Wall Stance + Armor Purge) and since SKutaka got reworked, the unique form ability went poof too. Thanks to that however, Mayumi now gets 2(!) new unique abilities, General's Form (Void moves become Fighting) and Desolation Form (Void moves become Earth). Because of the powerful combo of Steel + a pseudo Earth/Fight STAB boosted Return on a 120 | 70 | 130 offensive statline, her coverage ends up quite scarce outside of those 3 types.

1200. PSaki was quite the shocker for almost everyone at first sight but I'd like to explain again at this point: Her insane statline coupled with a powerful STAB combo and a pseudo Unbound are very strong, no question about it, but her drawbacks are also very huge, mainly in that she has an awful defensive typing (Takes 50% HP just from switching in when Stealth Rocks are up, which allows for almost any follow up attack to just kill her) and can't run an item. This was an attempt at creating an actually good Brute Force user, which did fail because of 2 reasons: Firstly that her presence was quite overwhelming with the right team support and her ability to check what would normally wall her with Shark Trade. Secondly that she was just a straight up better PRemilia without the drawbacks she has. The new PSaki is a different take on the Dark / Wind typing: she has access to one of the best abilities in the game with Imposing Stance that negates her Stealth Rock weakness while also hitting harder than the old PSaki due to being able to hold items now. Alternatively she can go all in on a breaker set with Aggressive to score a pseudo Choice Ring boost that can be further boosted by another Choice Ring or Choice Scarf. However when running that she will again be vulnerable to the common Stealth Traps. To balance out this ridiculous wallbreaking power she gets barely any focus coverage moves, no access to Changeling or Lightning Speed, and no Twilight Infection.
