Black Beans

14 oz package of dried black beans
1 Ancho pepper de-stemmed and de-seeded
1 Bay leaf
2 cup homemade chicken stock
4 cups water
1 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1.5 tsp cumin

Instant pot 50 mins high pressure high temp.

Remove Ancho Pepper and Bay leaf and discard both.

Black Bean & Brown Rice & Beef Stew

Black Beans as prepared above and all their liquid retained

one package of skinless kielbasa cut into quarter coins.
1.5 lb of random beef in this case eye of round steaks I got on markdown.
8oz brown rice.
12oz can of tomato paste.
36oz water.
2tbsp Chorizo sausage seasoning.

Instant pot pressure cook hi/hi 60 min.

It's that simple. After it was done I did add 3/4cup more water and its still so thick it wont drip through the tines of a fork.
