- Episode VII Inheritors of the Force: https://mega.nz/file/Ch00lD4D#aSKEirLs2Fl3EKN-ncjQ2ggClsz3m45muCnJ25vd7I4
- The deleted scenes have black bars covering the time stamps, except for one where I had to resync the audio:
- Cut List:
- - 20th Century Studios Logo.
- - Custom Opening Crawl.
- - Trimmed two of Kylo’s lines, “you’re so right” and “the old man gave it to you.”
- - Unkar Platt calls the First Order, cut to Jakku Report Deleted Scene. Added music.
- - Moved a scene of Kylo and Hux afterward.
- - Cut out Finn saying “it’s the right thing to do.”
- - Cut out Kylo remembering Finn.
- - Added transition from Finn outside of town to him searching for water.
- - Trimmed some of Finn’s lines when he’s introducing himself as a member of the Resistance.
- - Cut out Finn asking if Rey had a boyfriend.
- - Trimmed the encounter with the gangs so there’s no mention of Han having made deals with them previously. They’re here for the droids, and happen to recognize Han from previous encounters.
- - Moved Kylo talking to Darth Vader’s mask so that it happens after the Millennium Falcon escaped.
- - All of Snoke’s scenes have been cut, saved for the next movie. We’re going to let Kylo stand on his own as a villain for this one.
- - Moved destruction of Hosnian Prime to the climax, so Rey and Finn separating is cut a little differently.
- - Cut Han asking Maz where she got the lightsaber. It felt like a set up without a pay off.
- -Cut out some Hosnian references.
- - Cut Leia referencing the Death Star.
- - Added deleted scene of Leia asking an officer to head for the New Republic.
- - Cut out Han’s dialogue about going back to what he was good at.
- - Shuffled scenes around as Hosnian Prime hasn’t been destroyed yet. Dialogue cut.
- - Added deleted scene of X-Wings leaving.
- - Added deleted scene of Kylo going inside of the Millenium Falcon.
- - Removed C-3PO saying it'll be over for the Resistance.
- - Hosnian Prime destroyed after Ben kills Han.
- - In this version, R2-D2 doesn’t have the missing map piece stored up. Overall, the ending is more bittersweet. Starkiller Base is destroyed, but the New Republic is crippled, Leia and Rey have lost Han, and Finn is in critical condition. Credits roll.
- Episode VIII Balance of Power: https://mega.nz/file/1eMz3YJL#JUsDEzU5npm44EuxbIzBpl5wevpY5Z4XBty6aJLJGmw
- I don’t like the CGI Leia, but I need her alive for the sake of the Trilogy.
- Cut List:
- - 20th Century Studios Logo.
- - Custom Opening Crawl.
- - Added blue tint over the whole movie to give it more visual consistency. All visions are given shadowy borders.
- - A recut version of the first Snoke meeting opens the movie.
- - Kylo goes to the planet to steal the Wayfinder.
- - Finn and Poe receive the message and fly away. Replaced Palpatine’s theme with the First Order’s theme.
- - The Resistance's base planet in this movie will be treated as if its the same as the one in the Force Awakens, just in a different part of it. Leia moved here for Rey’s training.
- - During Rey and Kylo’s mutual flashes, a bunch of scenes have been rearranged or replaced.
- - Getting this out of the way, ANY hints of Rey being a Palpatine have been cut. The Emperor and his involvement have only “mostly” been cut.
- - Poe’s warning to everyone has been redone, with help from Zarius. Snoke gets a brief backstory and Exegol has been “re-casted” to being a hidden Jedi homeworld Luke disappeared to. The music has been replaced with Snoke’s theme.
- - After Rey decides she’ll find Exegol, cut to The Last Jedi’s first Snoke meeting. With this scene, we immediately understand why Kylo wants to betray him. Why tell Snoke anything about the Wayfinder after being thoroughly roasted like that? Lol. Cuts away before the elevator opens, as Kylo hasn’t committed to the “let the past die” stuff yet.
- - Rose has been cut and downplayed, as she becomes a more relevant character in the next movie. She can be seen in crowd shots, but she looks different enough that I don’t think it will matter.
- - Removed Enric calling Kylo the Supreme Leader, as that is obviously wrong.
- - Removed Leia telling a soldier to be optimistic.
- - Replaced musical sting when Chewie is revealed to be alive.
- - During Rey and Kylo’s force skype fight, whispers saying “This is what you wish for,” “LIES,” and others are placed over Rey’s vision of her parents leaving her, hinting at this not being the whole truth.
- - Kylo offers to train Rey during her escape.
- - After Rey and Finn talk, Kylo talks to Snoke again. Cut out some dialogue.
- - Kylo talking to a hallucination of Han happens right after Rey and the others land on Endor. A snippet of Vader’s Death is played. Despite what he tells himself, Ben IS conflicted, and this encounter externalizes the struggle. It pays off with him refusing to shoot down his mom at the end.
- - As Rey walks into the secret chamber, a snippet of the Emperor’s Throne Room plays.
- - Dark Rey is replaced by a new vision.
- - The fight between Rey and Kylo is edited so that Leia doesn’t die. An epic battle theme has been added.
- - Rey goes with her friends back to base, but she and Finn are left haunted by what happened.
- - R2D2 uses a signal he picked up from C-3PO to find Exegol. A Force Awakens scene is used, so there’s a minor continuity error with C-3PO’s red arm.
- - Rey gives Leia a goodbye hug and leaves.
- - Since the edit would be too short otherwise, I added The Last Jedi's opening space battles. This is to give Leia a bit more focus before she’s put out of commission for most of the next installment. Hey, it fits with all the other fake out deaths in this story. I just wish I could make this edit two hours like all the other movies, but no RoS deleted scenes available means that won’t happen.
- - Added deleted scene of Poe on the main ship being attacked by the Star Destroyers. Removed shot of an officer used later.
- - Removed Poe’s joke about Hux’s mom. I think it’s. funnier for Hux to react to being had.
- - Finn gets Leia's watch, and transitions to...
- - Rey finds Luke.
- - Rise of Skywalker Credits.
- Episode IX An Old Fear: https://mega.nz/file/lbsjkD7Q#GZeVd04kM09cEWWDUnWscNl9k9LCVnvCsbe87nZOziQ
- Cut List:
- - 20th Century Studios Logo.
- - Custom Opening Crawl. Aiming for something a bit unique with this one.
- - Thanks to the opening space battles being put in the previous film, we begin with the First Order gaining on the Resistance and Holdo taking command. Cut out Poe asking Holdo about her plan, thus making the resulting situation all his fault.
- - Rey meets Luke.
- - Added a short deleted scene of Ben staring out a window during Rey’s explanation of what he did.
- - Added deleted scene of Luke mourning Han.
- - Remove lines about Rey knowing the Temple, or seeing it in her dreams.
- - To give Finn a proper introduction, inserted a deleted scene of him and BB-8 talking about Rey.
- - After that is his meeting with Rose. Cut Rose calling him a selfish traitor. Transition to Rey and Luke at night.
- - Transition to Rey and Kylo’s Force Skype call. For the sake of continuity, I removed any suggestion that Snoke set up the bond between Rey and Kylo. It shouldn’t raise too many questions considering Rey trained under Leia and they already Force skyped in the last installment.
- - For similar reasons, Luke’s question regarding the Force and Rey’s answer is cut.
- - Added deleted scene of a Nun sizing up Rey.
- - Added a small flashback for Finn once he realizes the people on Canto Bight make their money from war profiteering. He comes to realize his circumstances were the direct result of these people.
- - Added “The Chosen One” and “Anakin’s Dark Deeds” songs to Luke explaining his Jedi hate and flashback to Rey. Hey, Prequel themes deserve to be in the final chapter SOMEWHERE.
- - Added deleted scene of Luke’s third lesson. This scene, in my opinion, should not have been cut. Not only does it further demonstrate his point about the Jedi and why he feels they were failures, it gives Rey more reason to distrust Luke later.
- - Cut Rey’s reaction to Kylo’s SWOL abs.
- - Spliced in flashes to Rey and Kylo teaming up when they touch hands. With the extra build up from Balance of Power, it becomes more believable that Rey would see some good in him.
- - Added “We’re at War" during DJ’s explanation of how both sides are supplied by profiteers. Originally I wanted to add something like the Trade Federation theme (you know, war profiteers) but it felt unfitting.
- - Cut some lines of dialogue during Poe’s confrontation with Holdo, as they had not talked beforehand.
- - Added the extended Finn/Rose/DJ scene aboard the Destroyer.
- - Cut some lines from Kylo implying he knew Rey’s parents from their shared hand touch, since he already knew in this continuity.
- - Cut Leia and Holdo’s talk outside the escape ship. The same information is conveyed to Poe later. I think Leia’s talk of Holdo not wanting to seem like a hero is better shown, ironically, with the less we see of her head space.
- - Added deleted scene of Hux remembering Rose.
- - Added deleted scenes of Finn confronting Phasma, as well as him and Rose saying they’re going where they belong.
- - Removed Finn saying the cannon is made from Death Star tech.
- - Recut the Rose saving Finn scene so it’s more obvious he wouldn’t have made it to the cannon.
- - Cut Rose kissing Finn, as that was out of nowhere and felt vaguely uncomfortable.
- - During Luke’s battle with Ben, I used footage from Immersion FFX to give Luke a green lightsaber. You can make a case for blue or green, but personally, I think green fits better for this scenario. Luke is trying to reignite his legend, the Jedi Knight that saved everyone. The legend only really started during Return of the Jedi, where he came into his own as a Jedi and used that lightsaber. It’s also the same sword he used on the night of Ben’s turn and is a part of Luke’s redemption.
- - During the point where Rey is about to start moving rocks, she has a vision where she listens to the voices of Jedi, something she couldn’t do in the last movie. She’s finally overcome her past and is ready to be the hero she needs to be.
- - Cut Rey and Poe meeting in the Falcon, as they already met in this continuity.
- - Spliced in footage from RoS during the finale. The binary sunset gives away to a little boy raising his broom like a lightsaber.
