Strange events are occurring in New York City, and the Turtles are needed more than ever, but Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo have become lost and directionless. With the city at stake, it's up to Leonardo and Zen Master Splinter to restore unity and ninja discipline to the Turtles.
After the defeat of their old arch nemesis, The Shredder, the Turtles have grown apart as a family. Struggling to keep them together, their sensei, Master Splinter, becomes worried when strange things brewing in New York City. Tech-industrialist tycoon Max Winters revives four ancient stone warriors and enlists the help of the foot clan to help capture ancient monsters.
If you are a fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles then you might love watching this movie. <br/><br/>The story was good, the voice acting from Mako, James Arnold Taylor, Nolan North, Mitchell (Sorry if I have spelled his name wrong), Mickey Kelley, Patrick Stewart, Fred Tatashiore, Kevin Michael Richardson and Chris Evens was good. Kevin Smith was a waste and Aprils voice sounded off. <br/><br/>However, the CGI animation and the character designs were good though.
So your all thinking why see this if it&#39;s a cartoon and meant for kids. Its not. I went into to this movie with little hope after seeing all the live action ones. But it surprised me. This 4th movie of the franchise leaves off from the 3rd one which was interesting. The film has a more darker feel to it then the others. But it also has the occasional humor and outstanding fight scenes. At times I forgot that I was watching a cartoon. I recommend for everyone to just give this movie a chance and you may be surprised. The reason why I felt this movie didn&#39;t deserve a 10/10 is because it was a bit to short and I felt that it was a bit rushed. But other then that this is a great flick for any kid or adult.
The upshot is that the film is technically superb and quite enjoyable as long as you don't bang your head against the plot.
