Weixing is a generally charming and playful person. He likes to poke fun and tease the other trainees, which often earns him playful hate from them, but they know he doesn't actually mean it. Despite his confident manner he's actually a big softie inside, and he cares about his fellow trainees very much. He's intensely loyal and protective of his friends and would fight anyone who hurts them. He really enjoys making music for others, and wants to make his parents proud by doing what he loves. He knows he isn't perfect, though, so he works hard to improve himself. Weixing is a total cat person and he hates dogs with a burning passion.

Weixing is the oldest out of the 3 children in his family. He has a younger brother (by 1 year) and a younger sister (by 3 years). He loved watching anime when he was young, and he always found that the opening and ending vocals particularly interested him. He later discovered that he had a true passion for singing, so his mother sent him to take vocal classes. He initially didn't consider becoming an idol, but his friends and family encouraged him because of his good looks and talent. He passed auditions and now trains at ikigai entertainment in seoul.
