ソースケなんかを連れて行っちゃダメでしょ!
絶対に問題起こすわよ!」
???: Nuh-uh, no way! You can’t bring Sousuke with you! He will 100% make some kind of trouble!

「なに…?」
Kallen: What’s going on...?

宗介
「千鳥、君は俺を勘違いしている。
今回の任務は不動を、音信不通になっていた
家族のもとまで護衛することだ」
Sousuke: Chidori, you seem to be misunderstanding. My mission this time is to escort Fudo to his family, as they have been unable to communicate for some time.

Akira: So...since there was a chance [Demons] might attack, they decided this guy and Setsuna would come with me.

Setsuna: It’s because we’re able to pass as students due to our age.

Kaname: Like I was saying before, you can’t be allowed to run loose in a perfectly normal household!

「お前、学校で散々問題を起こしてきたしな」
Kurz: You know, you HAVE caused a lot of trouble at school before.

「ソースケはカナメがついて行くからいいとして…
刹那の方は大丈夫なの?
自然な学生を演じるには少し難ありじゃない?」
Mao: Sousuke should be okay going along with Kaname but... Is Setsuna gonna be alright? Won’t he have some trouble playing the part of a normal student?

「そいつなら心配いらないぜ。
こう見えても刹那の奴はそういうのはバッチリだ」
Lockon: You don’t need to worry about that. You can’t tell by looking, but he’s pretty good at this sort of thing.

(Scene changes to the city streets. Kallen and the others are now in their school outfits.)

Kallen: I can’t believe you seriously got the go ahead for this...

「あの艦長さん、話のわかる人だったしね」
Kaname: The captain’s a very reasonable person.

宗介
「俺には勢いで押し切ったように見えたが」
Sousuke: It looks to me like you forced her to approve of this.

「だまらっしゃい!
許可はちゃんともらったんだから、
何もやましいことはないわ!」
Kaname: Oh who cares!? I got permission fair and square, so there’s nothing to complain about!

「その強引さ、まるでウチの生徒会長みたいね…」
Kallen: Only because you’re as pushy as my school’s student council president...

Kouzou: It’s good to see you back, Akira. We’ve all been worried about you.

「まったく! なんですぐに戻ってこなかったのよ!」
Miki: Seriously! Why didn’t you come back sooner!?

「戦いに巻き込まれた時に怪我をしちまってな。
幸いこいつらに助けられたんだが、
しばらく眠ってたらしいんだ」
Akira: I was wounded when I got into a fight. These guys were quick to give me a hand, but I’ve been asleep for a while now.

「すぐに身元引受人に連絡すべきところでしたが、
避難中に身元がわかるものを紛失していたらしく、
連絡は困難でした」
Sousuke: We would have contacted his guardian right away, but while we were getting him to safety, his ID went missing, making contact impossible.

「意識が戻った彼に連絡を促したんですけど、
みんなをびっくりさせたいからって聞かなくて…」
Kaname: We told him to at least call or something when he regained consciousness, but he didn’t listen, saying he wanted to surprise you all...

Miki: Oh no, she just went the extra mile since we had visitors. I’m just sorry she made so much.

Miki: Ahaha, that’s nice of you to say, but we’re just a normal family, aren’t we?

「ママはたまに小言を言ってくるし、
弟のタレちゃんはお調子者のスケベだしさ」

Kallen: Something feels wrong...

Kallen: He put a part of himself inside them! They’re a lot stronger than normal!

お前たちを殺す兵隊でもある」
Ghelmer: They are not only hostages, but also the soldiers who will kill you.

「さあ、お前たちが守る者相手にどう対応する?
デビルマンたちよ」
Ghelmer: So then, how will you and your friends fight the ones you’re meant to protect, Devilman?

(Scene starts on a map screen of a forest. Londo Bell and Haniwa Phantoms are on the map.)

「敵性反応を確認。
ハニワ幻人です」
Fumitan: Enemy reading confirmed. They’re Haniwa Phantoms.

弁慶
「少し離れて幻魔要塞もいるようだが、
それにしては敵の数が少ないな」
Benkei: There’s a Genma Fortress not too far off, but there aren’t a lot of them out there in total.

ミサト
「先の戦いで戦力を消耗した影響でしょうか?」
Misato: Did the last battle use up their forces?

ブライト
「ラミアス大尉、
外に行かせた者たちとの連絡はついたか?」
Bright: Captain Ramius, have you made contact with the people that went out?

マリュー
「いえ、それがまだ…」
Murrue: No, not yet...

オルガ
「あいつら、こんな時に何をやってやがる」
Orga: The hell are they doing at a time like this?

ブライト
「連絡がつかない以上は、
ここで何を言っても仕方あるまい」
Bright: Until we can hear from them, there’s little use in talking about it now.

ブライト
「敵との戦闘を開始する!」
Bright: Begin combat against the enemy!

(The players team and Steel Jeeg deploys.)

「緊急応答を無視するとは…
刹那のガンダムマイスターとしての資質、
疑わざるをえない」
Tieria: Neglecting to respond to an emergency... This bring Setsuna’s qualifications as a Gundam Meister into question.

甲児
「外泊を押し切られる形になっちまったみたいだし、
意外とハメを外しすぎてるのかもな」
Koji: It sounded like he got forced into spending the night there, so maybe he just got a little carried away.

クルツ
「…あの任務バカのソースケまでがか?
カナメが一緒だからって、そりゃ考えにくいけどな」
Kurz: ...While on a mission with that numbskull Sousuke? I just can’t see that happening while Kaname is with them.

マオ
「あんたたち、無駄口叩いてるんじゃないよ。
奥には敵の母艦も控えてるんだ。
さっさとやるよ!」
Mao: Cut the chatter, boys. The enemy mother ship is somewhere in the back. Let’s get on with it!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(Battle 1 ends when all Haniwa Phantoms are defeated.)

「幻魔要塞、前進!
来ます!」
Torres: Genma Fortress, advancing! It’s coming!

(Amaso appears.)

アマソ
「仕方ないとはいえ、
ハニワ幻人が全滅とは…奴らめ…」
Amaso: Even if there was no choice, to have all the Haniwa Phantoms destroyed... Damn them...

アマソ
「この恨み、貴様らにぶつけなければ、
俺の気が晴れん…!」
Amaso: I won’t be able to calm down if I don’t take out my frustration on this lot...!


(Scene ends.)

(Next scene picks up where it left off.)

「鋼鉄ジーグ、貴様らは
このアマンが直々に相手をしてやる!」
Amaso: I, Amaso, will face you personally, Steel Jeeg!

鋼鉄ジーグ
「アマンね…。
おそらくミマシの野郎と同じく、
ヒミカの側近のひとりってところか」
Steel Jeeg: Amaso, huh... No doubt one of Himika’s aides, just like Mimashi.

(More Haniwa Phantoms appear.)

「また馬鹿のひとつ覚えみたいに、
同じハニワ幻人を出してきやがったぜ!」
Hyoma: He’s as dumb as the last guy to try and come at us with just Haniwa Phantoms again!

「油断するなよ、豹馬!
ハニワ幻人はともかく、敵の要塞は強力だ!」
Guy: Don’t get careless, Hyoma! Haniwa Phantoms aside, the enemy fortress is powerful!

アマソ
「そういうことだ!
俺をミマシの奴と同じだと思うなよ!」
Amaso: He’s right! Don’t think that I’m the same as Mimashi!

(Battle 2 begins.)

(Battle 2 ends when Amaso is defeated.)

「結局は貴様もミマシと同じだったようだな!」
Steel Jeeg: You really are just like Mimashi after all!

奴らめ…ここまでやってやったのだから、
成功しなければ承知せんぞ!」
Amaso: Agh! That’s enough...! Those bastards... I’ll never forgive them if they don’t succeed after this!

(Amaso leaves the map.)

けど妙にひっかかるわね」
Meg: The enemy’s reading is gone... But there was something weird about all this.

となると考えられるのは…」
Mu: They definitely gave up too easily. The only reason I can think of for that would be...

「おい、明たちとは連絡がついてないんだよな!?
まさか…!」
Koji: Hey, we still haven’t heard from Akira and the others, right!? Then that means...!

(Setsuna is holding back Miki.)
