PokeBim Ch25- Verdanturf Town

The gang had arrived in Verdanturf town, a quaint little farming town known for growing flowers, it wasn’t too far from the Frozen Forest so the temperature was mostly cool but the perfect one for growing certain breeds of flowers. Other than the small flower fields there was little to see in town except for the Contest Hall.

“This is the place.” Mordred stood outside “I’m going in to sign up now.”

“We can come with you.” Skyla said “No offense there’s not much else to do around here except stop and smell the flowers.”

“Rachel isn’t competing in this one.” Mordred said “So hopefully I won’t have too many annoyances.”

The doors to the contest hall slid open and the trio walked in, Mordred went over to the desk and got herself signed up.

“Excuse me?” A girl came over.

She was around the same height as Mordred, she was wearing a knit white hat, a black sweater-vest like top and a pink skirt, her whole outfit hugged her smooth curves which were more subdued than Mordred’s overt bustiness.

“Are you Mordred?” she asked.

“Haa…yes?” The gothic girl sighed “What do you want?”

“Cold, as expected.” She laughed “I’m Dawn, I saw your performance in the Goldenrod City Contest. I’m a Coordinator too.”

“Thanks?” she said.

“You probably don’t recognize me.”

“Should I?” Mordred asked.

“No, we’ve never met.” Dawn laughed “I’m Johanna’s daughter.”

Mordred let out a long sigh.

“I see.”

“Johanna?” Leo asked confused.

“When my Mother was a Contest star her biggest rival was Johanna.” Mordred said “They used to be at each other’s throats apparently.”

“That’s what my Mom said too.” Dawn laughed “I knew my Mom was a Contest star but I didn’t realize she was rivals with the one and only Spider Queen, the Black Widow herself Morgana Kentworth! She was like my idol!”

“Sounds like your Mom was pretty famous.” Skyla laughed “I’ve heard of the Spider Queen, one of the best Bug-Type trainers out there known for her elegant beauty and cool demeanor.”

“She’s…something like that.” Mordred said.

“Well I just wanted to let you know, your Mom may have beaten mine back in the day, but now it’s my turn and I’m gonna be even better than her or you.”

“Good luck with that.” Mordred said walking off.

“Don’t mind her she’s nice when you get to know her.” Leo said “She’s just not much of a talker.”

“That attitude, she must get it from her Mom.” Dawn laughed “She’s my rival now, I’ll show her how strong I am in this contest.”

The contest was finally starting, once again the judges were one of the chairmen of the contest committee, the local Nurse Joy, and the popular idol Nancy.

“Next on the stage is the lovely Mordred!”

Mordred walked out accompanied by her Snorunt. Snorunt was dressed like a little nurse with a pink uniform hugging her body and a little stethoscope on. Mordred meanwhile was wearing a similar outfit but hers had ‘doctor’ written on the left breast name tag. As she strutted her way down the runway her breasts bounced about happily while her short skirt nearly exposed her rear end, her stockings and garter belt squishing her soft creamy thighs.

“Hmph.” She stopped at the end of the runway and held out a pen, miming that she was taking notes before playfully nibbling on the tip.

She turned and headed off, the crowd applauding her as she did so.

“What an outfit, next up…” the announcer said “Dawn!”

Dawn walked out in a rather elegant blue tuxedo. It sparkled lightly due to some glitter in the fabric. Her hair was done up into a messy bun and compared to Mordred’s more sensual approach hers gave off an aura of cuteness.

With her was a penguin like girl with blue skin, wearing a more relaxed dress and a tiara.

They reached the end of the runway and bowed, both clearly going for the effect of a pure hearted untainted maiden.

“What a beautiful set of outfits, next our competitors will show off some stunning moves for us.” The announcer said.

Various competitors went and displayed some moves before it was Mordred’s turn.

“Alright Snorunt.” Mordred said “Let’s show them something special. Icy Wind!”

Snorunt started blowing out cool glittering crystal air, it swirled around the stage blocking the view until it slowly parted and revealed Mordred now wearing a dress made of ice crystals over out outfit, Snorunt now in icy armor.

“Wow a costume change into a stunning ice queen and her snowy soldier!”

Mordred smirked at the crowd as the icy dress pushed her breasts up, her dark hair clashing nicely with the pure white and blue tinted ice.

With her signature sensual elegance established Mordred strutted off stage to make room for Dawn to take her turn. The tuxedo wearing girl walked out with her penguin Pokemon, the two starting to tap their feet before spinning around, feet clacking on the floor as they started tap dancing. Dawn and her Pokemon both had rather slim bodies with average curves so there was a nice amount of bounce to offset their leggy movements.

Slowly their song came to an end and the two bowed before heading off stage. Before long it was time to announce the top five that would be receiving ribbons, once again Mordred found herself in the top two against her main rival for this competition.

“It was close but the winner of this contest is…Dawn!”

“Dammit.” Mordred cursed a bit “That cute attitude of hers.”

After being awarded their ribbons everyone changed and started to leave.

“Mordred!” Dawn ran up “Wait a sec!”

“Haa, yeah?”

“That was a great competition.” She said “Where did you come up with that ice dress idea it was beautiful, so elegant.”

“Just came to me I guess.” Mordred shrugged “…congrats on winning.”

“Oh thanks, I can’t wait to see you again in the next contest, it won’t be enough to just beat you once, I need to win the Grand Festival over you too.” Dawn smiled.

“Heh, I don’t plan on staying in second.” Mordred said “You know I never wanted to compete in contests, or so I thought, but now I want to win again, second place might get me a ribbon but it’s not the same feeling as winning.”

“Tell me about it.” Dawn laughed giving her a kiss on each cheek “I’ll see you around again.”

“Right.” Mordred nodded.

As Dawn ran off Mordred heard her phone ringing.

“Hello?”

“That was quite the show dear.” A sweet and seductive voice said “I thought you weren’t interested in contests but this is twice now I’ve seen you on the television.”

“Why are you calling Mother?” Mordred said.

“Just wanted to say I enjoyed your performance is all, I’m glad to see you embracing the family tradition princess.” She said.

“I’m not doing this for you, or even to beat Rachel.” Mordred said “I’m doing it…because I want to, because I’m having fun.”

“Fufufu…that’s perfectly fine by me.” Morgana told her “Keep up the good work dear, and don’t be a stranger come stop by home again would you, the estate is drearier than usual without you around.”

“I’m sure I’ll be home sooner or later.” Mordred said “I’m traveling with a couple people, one of them is challenging gyms so I’m sure we’ll be around to challenge Aunt Fantina soon.”
