Clutching the broom handle in his hand he rose to his feet and then, without thinking, without a strategy, he charged the gunman, raising the broom handle above his head as if it was a club. He's about average height, with an armored black and grey bodysuit, and a visored helmet that shows off a tan stubbled jaw. In his hand is a long sleek black pistol with green veins running to its tip. He raises it at the hair mid charge and his finger squeezes the trigger as he sets his jaw.

  39. <ColdGold|GM> The Hare instinctively knows when to explode as he enters the proper range, and lets what little hair he'd had fly sharply in his attacker's direction.
  40. <ColdGold|GM> His feet don't stop moving, but through the anger he feels that same overwhelming feeling sensation to be still come over him. It's not enough to halt his charge, however.

  50. <ColdGold|GM> The Hare can't move his mouth enough to scream, but he still has enough momentum behind his blow to put a lot of weight behind his savage blow. Both his broom and a bone in the man's left arm crack at the same time. The man falls to his butt, and he scrambles backwards into the door as he breathes heavily. He's clearly terrified.
  51. <ColdGold|GM> The Hare feels the weird sensation fight to restrain him, bind him in place. The rational side knows that if it takes full effect he won't be able to move anymore at all. It's just a matter of which will win out. His feral like anger, or the effects of the green liquid.

  55. <Claw|TheHare> Weapon cracked. It'll be useless soon. He makes the most of it, stepping forward he hit again as strongly as he still can. And then... he uses his momentum to fall on the man. Even if he was to fell unconscious he would do so with his enemy tightly grasped and unable to free himself until he woke up. ||

  79. <ColdGold|GM> The man acts at almost the last second, but manages to scramble out of the way as The Hare falls flat on his face, his head spins and he can hear his heart beating loudly in his own ears.

He /has/ to take The Hare in alive, and the lines on the gun had been green for the weird pointed dart bullets. That meant he had a /brief/ moment to act while the gunner switched ammo types. He knows that if he tries he's at real risk of being shot again and taken down by the poison. The gunner waits for his reaction, his

  96. <Claw|TheHare> There is no choice in his mind, he'd paused as he raised himself but it hadn't been to consider the request. Nothing short of victory could stop the fire burning in his guts. The man is right in front of him. The Hare let go of the broom, discarding the now almost useless weapon... and then lunge beneath the gun to tackle the gunman to the ground. ||

  115. <ColdGold|GM> The Hare, being the hero he is, doesn't even consider listening for a second. He throws the broom aside, lowers his stance, roars and lunges...
  116. <ColdGold|GM> The man flicks his thumb and the lights on the weapon turn green. There's a sharp whistle and a bullet hits The Hare in his shoulder. The poison enters him, and this time when he feels it command him to be still he feels all his wounds too. He falls to his feet right in front of the gunman, his ears and eyes remain open and he can hear everything going on. But his face is facing the ground.

  118. <ColdGold|GM> "Fucking thank god, finally." He says with a heavy, relieved sigh.
  119. <ColdGold|GM> "What a monster." The man continues, and The Hare hears a couple of numbers being dialed on a phone. Then it's quiet for a moment as the man shuffles around a bit.
  120. <ColdGold|GM> "Hey.... Yeah I got him, listen we're gonna need to talk about me getting more money because this was the opposite of an "easy job"... Well yeah /he/ got away, but I got you the hero..." The man says, having a conversation with someone on the other line.
  121. <ColdGold|GM> "Fine we'll talk about it later, I'll send you my location. Get here fucking quick." The man says, hanging up.
  122. <ColdGold|GM> The Hare feels another sensation of being shot by a dart bullet, and then he walks off to go plop into the sofa. Occasionally groans of pain come from that direction. Then after what feels like an insanely long period of time the doors open and some other people walk in, but all he sees are shoes as he's dragged out.

They bring him up to a car that clearly isn't any normal one, it's a lot like the gun the gunman had been using. Sleek long and black, with no windows on it anywhere. Two large exhaust pipes stick out from its back. A trunk opens between the sets of pipes and as he's lowered The Hare gets a better look at who's taking him.

  131. <ColdGold|GM> One is a tall blonde, white man with an earpiece in. He's dressed in a sharp black suit, and he has a larger more impressive looking version of the gun the other man had been firing holstered at his hip. He recognizes him as Slinger. There are a few other people in similar dress helping him out.
  132. <ColdGold|GM> Slinger raises his eyebrows in impressed fashion at the Hare and casts a glance backwards. "I'm glad it was you and not me, that had to deal with him." He says.

  134. <ColdGold|GM> The Hare sees 'Guillermo' the gunman, approach with a frown on his face.
  135. <ColdGold|GM> "I bet. Listen I was serious about better pay, and I know what I want. Let me keep the piece and you'll maintain it for me." The man almost demands.
  136. <ColdGold|GM> "Or what you'll take him?" Slinger asks, sounding almost amused at the thought of it.

And even if he wasn't he had failed to win against Guillermo who was merely wielding tinkertech, could he even win against Slinger? He'd failed. That was it... Nothing more he could do...
