- Check /r/drumkits for drum samples and /r/audioengineering for a decent source of mixing discussion. /r/wearethemusicmakers can be okay at times, but is a perfect example of Reddit's opposition to hostile gatekeeping causing a "blind leading the blind" type of community by being overly welcoming of questions and comments from amateurs who don't know what they're talking about but get upvoted by others of the same skill level. It's still worth lurking, just stay skeptical and keep in mind that most likely you're not getting advice from a professional.
