  9. The merman was walking out into the middle of the arena, the weapon upon his back summoned once again to his side-- followed by thick occulted winds encasing his body. Making it nearly impossible to see him.

  16. [03:11:50] The man's strategy was much like his own when fighting other melee fighters-- the man's massive fields of cosmic and occult energies stopping most of his movements. However, like most of the Selkie's fights, as soon as he found a way to adapt around it, the win was right under his fin.

  18. Utilizing water, the Selkie conjured forth small orbs of water that acted as stepping stones, allowing him to approach the man without falling victim to the most intense of his cosmic storms. It still burned away at his skin and prevented him from attacking with full power, but at least it allowed him to strike.

  20. Having closed the gap, the Selkie lodged the man's staff right in between the fork's teeth, wringing it out of his hand. In the same motion, Laekces swung the base of his trident upwards with great strength, sending the man flying with a hit right onto the chin.

  22. Waiting atop one of his aquatic orbs for the cosmic storms to fully die down, he commended his opponent. "Good. Not good enough." He jumped down and returned to the benches, folding his arms.

  51. [03:17:08] The celestial and dark energies under his control were intense, though more often than not, they failed to strike their mark. However even when they missed, the explosion of them crashing into the wall or floor was enough to at least keep Lakeces on his toes. The ferocity of his barrages was met with equal force by his adversary, and it was the few instances that truly made their battle his. In the end, it was a powerful fist crashing into his mask that sent him skidding across the ground that finished things. As he struggled to bring himself back up to his feet, he nodded several times and muttered, "I can see how you keep Magnus in check so easily. I'm glad you two don't just feed off each other."

Danbur wasn't well versed in Sarradian magic, really. So all that could be said was that he is excited to fight whatever it was.
