Scope of Position:
Position is currently 60-day thru 90-day contract-to-hire. Candidates should be prescreened to confirm that they fit the below requirements listed. Area of work Brooklyn - Queens. Candidate should live in the surrounding area of work Brooklyn, Queens, Western Long Island or Manhattan. This role will require a car to travel between client locations. Reimbursement for mileage.

If converted to CompuCom pay rate will $18.00-$19.00 to start (subject to change dependent on certifications/skillset).

• Need 1 resource (s) to perform Break & Fix work during Wednesday thru Sunday 9am-6pm.
• Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA’s)
• Technician will travel to each client’s location using their car to travel between client locations. Reimbursement for mileage.

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktop, Laptop, Server and Printers
• Works under general supervision
• Will work POS, Desktops/Laptop machines, and printer repair. Lexmark printer repair down to component level.
. Cable repair experience a plus.
. Required to return/track parts.
. Required to join On Call rotation and work overtime when required.

Minimum Requirements:
• 2 years plus supporting Desktops, Laptops and Printers.
• 2 years plus with customer service experience
• Able to expense metro card for travel between client locations.
• Able to work weekends, staggered or late shifts possibly including evenings and/or weekends
• Personable as they will be interacting with a wide range of users and environments
• Can work on a ladder of lift and are able to lift up to 50lbs.


Basic Needs/Haves
• Able to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position
• Smartphone with hot spot capabilities (Reimbursed within Corporate Guidelines)
• Laptop supplied by corp.
• Basic Hand Tools
• Possess a valid driver’s license


Preferred, NOT REQUIRED:
• CompTIA A+
• OEM Printer Warranty Certifications
• OEM Laptop/Desktop Warranty Certifications
• Server experience would be a bonus
• Cisco certs highly desired
