- "The sun is intense in this place." Kara panted, waving her hand at her face in an attempt to fan herself. It wasn't working very well, unfortunately. The heat was beating down on the woman, who had simply landed on this world out of sheer curiosity. She had landed near what appeared to be a camp that appeared to be empty. Well, almost empty. There was a body laid down on the ground of the empty camp. While she didn't know whether the body was a dead person or an unconscious one, the woman figured it was better to get there as soon as possible and make sure. Running towards the camp with great haste, Kara managed to reach the body and looked it over.
- It was a woman, obviously older than her. Checking her, Kara noticed the woman had two injuries. Gunshot wounds to the shoulder and stomach by the looks of it. The woman wasn't sure healing items would work on worlds that had guns and technology but she wasn't about to let someone bite the farm, especially when she could do something to help them. So Kara took out a Hi-Potion, the strongest healing item she had on her person and repositioning the injured woman, opened her mouth and poured the contents of the healing item inside, making sure the woman would swallow it.
- Rebecca just walked around the Western Rust Commons, unsure as to why exactly her Gummi Ship's autopilot would bring her here, of all places. Still, the heat was the least of Rebecca's worries, thankfully. Her light-colored clothing and more summer-friendly state of dress made high temperatures seem more seasonable.
- No, the biggest issue for Rebecca here was the fact that she was unarmed in a world filled to the brim with gun-toting, bloodthirsty maniacs. Not the best place for a healer to be around.
- She walked close to an abandoned bandit camp when she smelled something terrible. She looked over...and saw a woman kneeling over another female, the latter with two gunshot wounds. Rebecca ran over to them and immediately dropped down to her knees opposite of Kara. Quickly, she surveyed the wounded woman and the general situation.
- "We need to extract the bullets somehow!" Rebecca frantically stated. "I don't think my magic will let me do that, and I'm not sure if I should try!"

- "Who needs Runners when I have the Red Devil?!"
- Steve Phoenix was glad that the Red Devil he was so easily able to summon could splatter the small Scythids while having enough firepower to take care of bigger threats. It made traveling around the Rust Commons and all of Pandora much easier. When he saw three others near a bandit camp, he stopped to see what was happening...and his eyes widened when he saw the woman with the two gunshot wounds.
- "Aw, s***, what happened here?!" he shouted as he got out of the Red Devil and ran over to the three women.
