The next day comes as I wave goodbye to my mother, who noticed that not only had my wounds fully recovered, but I was also unusually chipper that morning.

(I'm so glad his mood has improved. Come to think of it, he came home happier than usual last night. I wonder what happened to him...), she muses.

As I enter homeroom that day, Tsundere-kun looks at me, blushing.

I say "Ohayou gozaimasu".

"O-Ohayou.", he responds.

Tomboy-kun can be seen running around the track outside the window.

Tsundere-kun looks at him and tells me, "He's going to get in a lot of trouble if he keeps doing that before class starts.".

I tell him, "I know, but Keicchan enjoys it. Who are we to trample on his parade?".

"Yeah, but a student must always remain diligent on school grounds. I swear, if President Tenryou-san saw him do this...", he starts to say.

I just chuckle nervously as a response.

As I look out the window at the bright sky, Tsundere-kun gets out of his chair and pulls me aside.

He whispers in my ear, "Oh, a-and about...you know, 'this'?"

I knew exactly what he was referring to.

I whisper back, "Yes?"

"Let's keep 'this' a secret. For now. Ok?", he whispers.

"Ok.", I respond happily.

A third voice whispers behind us, "Keep what a secret? I won't tell if you don't."

We both jump back.

Tomboy-kun is standing behind us, grinning.

My eyes were wide.

I pointed outside the window towards the track.

"But you were out there running less than 5 seconds ago...", I say in disbelief.

"Yeah, I got bored, so now I'm here.", he replies.

"BAKA! Didn't your mother ever tell you that eavesdropping is bad!?", Tsundere-kun shouts while pulling his nosy friend's ear.

"Ow! Gomenasai!", the red speedster screams.

As class starts, me and Tsundere-kun exchange looks at each other, smiling.

Tomboy-kun cocks his head to the side, confused at this.
