  15. Character Image/Character Costume Image (Or Description):
  16. Spencer is light-skinned, has slightly long, scruffy blond hair, and green eyes. Thanks to his experience on his high school track team, he's somewhat more fit than the average teenager. Thanks to it being all running muscle he's not very 'buff', more lean and toned, making him more agile and fast than strong. Though slightly taller than average, a lot of it is in his gangly legs. His costume is made up of a pair of large, bug-eyed goggles, a long scarf that he pulls up to cover the lower half of his face, a black shirt with a large green "Z" printed on the front with the ends of the letter spiraling inwards, an aviator jacket, black jeans, leather gloves, and a normal pair of sneakers.

  19. Personality:
  20. Spencer is lighthearted and easygoing, acting much of the time as if he doesn't take his superheroing very seriously. He thinks it's fun being able to beat up the bad guys like the superheroes he's idolized since childhood, and doesn't know how deadly and serious being a Metahuman can be, thanks to having only an outsider's view on tragedies like the destruction of New York City. In battle, he often jokes and makes fun of his opponents, partially from a feeling of invincibility thanks to his powers, and partially to distract and annoy them. Despite his naivete, though, he is a good person who wants to use his powers for a good cause, inspired by the existing heroes and wanting to help people who are caught in tragedies like that of NYC. He always does what he believes to be right, and while he does have a good moral compass, his childishness can often cause him to not see the gray between the black and white. Though he may be forced to see a grimmer reality, his free spirit will be hard to tramp down, and he'll protect those he cares about until the very end.

  22. History:
  23. Born when metahumans were very much on the rise, Spencer grew up admiring the heroes who saved countless lives time and time again. He grew up with his single mother, his father having left her before he was born, and lives in an apartment in the downtown Seattle area, going to school with his best friend Damien Reid. During his junior year, his powers began to manifest. It started with small things at first; papers falling off desks whenever he walked by, doors slamming behind him. But he only really noticed it when a thief tried to mug him and Damien on the way home from school. Panicked, he unintentionally mustered a blast of wind that slammed the thief into a wall, knocking him out and allowing the two to escape.
  24.
  25. Amazed by his sudden discovery of his gift, Spencer practiced with his abilities over the course of several weeks, and while becoming far from perfect with them, discovered he could also fly by riding on air currents, a technique he called 'air surfing'. Spencer was set on becoming a superhero with his powers, and Damien, who was obsessed with studying the Metahuman phenomenon, was excited to help. He helped design Spencer's costume, even coming up with a name: Zephyr. Using a wireless headset, the two manage to stay in contact even while Spencer is in the midst of his superheroics.
  26.
  27. Though Spencer is unaware of where his powers come from, they truly originate from a powerful wizard, who was exiled from his home realm centuries ago. Eventually, that wizard passed on his power to an offspring, and the magical blood traveled down the generations to Spencer. However, after the centuries gone by, this magic has been diluted to the point where he has control over only a single element, and even that is a rare amount of power after so much time mixing with nonmagical blood.
  28.
  29. Zephyr, while still inexperienced with his abilities, will be there for the citizens of Seattle.

  33. Power(s):
  34. -Aeromancy: Spencer can control air in pretty much any way imaginable, though his inexperience means that he mostly uses blunt methods: strong gusts, tornadoes, etc. He has figured out several more nuanced technique, such as his 'air surfing', where he rides air currents, creating bubbles of pressure to make a defensive shield, and sticking to surfaces by removing air between his body and the surface.
