This New Tower of Babel

Have you noticed the tongues of man have been confused yet again? English speaking brothers misunderstanding one another, even as they speak the same words, as if foreigners. The Left and Right hands point to the same moon, but as their perspectives are askew from one another, they mistakenly see another's hand pointing to distant stars.

What is this new Tower of Babel that has cost us our common sense? Common sense, as in the sense that allows us to move as one. This house perforates and divides against itself. The moon casts its hypnotic gaze. Saturn dons his Holocaust cloak and fades into the night sky. Our pointed fingers slowly drift from the moon down to meet one another's gaze.
